I hope the winner gets something otherwise it’s a bit pointless.

I’m thinking that Lesnars contract extension is either just for one more match in Saudi Arabia where he drops the title to Reigns or he won’t appear again until maybe summerslam.

Girlfriend and I were on the fence about last minute tickets to Smackdown tonight. Decided against it as we're pretty wrestled out and Raw was a good end to the trip. So obviously they announce Bryan-Styles. strawberry float's sake.

Surely they’re not actually giving that away with zero build.

She's definitely off to Raw next week, and likely facing Rousey at 'Mania. Seems a lock now.

That seemed likely. Triple threat at BackLash?

I hate it when they do a cash in after a superb match either the same night or the night before. Still, it looks like Charlotte is destined possibly for the proper main event next year which cant be sniffed at.

It will be interesting to see how long Carmella lasts with the belt. It feels like she is just keeping it warm, probably for Alexa Bliss.

Taker vs. Rusev in a Casket match for that Greatest Royal Rumble thing. What is going on.

It’s weird it’s like it doesn’t exist in the actual wwe timeline. Like the old ppvs we used to have in the uk that didn’t really matter but then you have the chance that the wwe title may change hands.

The Saudi royalty must be throwing a lot of money wwe’s way.

A loaded show for sure (second biggest card of the entire year based on matches announced), but with a very strange build. Some of it completely logical (Tag titles, Lesnar/Reigns), some of it completely random. Undertaker vs Rusev makes no sense whatsoever; they have no reason to be facing each other, let alone in a casket match. The last few months have been about John Cena trying to coerce 'taker out of retirement and now all of a sudden he's willing to fly halfway across the world to face Rusev. Triple H facing Cena...because?

They've not updated us on what the winner of the 50 man Rumble gets (a title match at Backlash? Summerslam? Anything?!) though there's still 2 weeks left. They've now booked Reigns vs. Samoa Joe for Backlash, which may or may not be for the title. No idea why Kurt Angle is in this thing.

It is like one of those random UK Sky Box Office PPVs (which started off being storyline canon in 1997 but then became mostly irrelevant apart from the odd thing like Bulldog throwing a bin at Stephanie) but on a much larger scale.

Probably doesn't help that they're having to also promote Backlash for a week later so there's all these different things going on. It reeks of no planning again. Suddenly out of nowhere it's like WrestleMania is happening again, but this time on a random Friday evening in another country.

I think they will give them a major title change to justify the event to be honest.

However the impression I got with Taker is that he seems to be back for a little more than Mania, almost like a final run or something. I know his match at Mania was short, but he looked in great condition and seemed to be moving much better than he has been recently.

‘I remember watching the first episode of RAW in Ireland’ Finn Balor on the WWE 24 documentary on the Network. Only problem it didn’t air on Sky back then. Gotta love those fed lines.

Fascinating seeing all the backstage stuff though, particularly the technical side of things.

Jericho is replacing Rusev in that casket match. Either Rusev is winning the Rumble or getting future endeavored :(

Hmmm interesting. As it’s jericho I assume the match will go on longer than I originally expected as I thought the rusev match would just be a squash match. I hope rusev isn’t leaving. They need to bite the bullet with him while he’s hot. They already missed an opportunity with him over a year ago, it’s rare you get two chances with the same talent.
