And Taker vs HHH? :fp: Their last match almost put me to sleep and was utterly stupid. I had a tiny bit of hope Shaemas might face him.

They've been going downhill for years now.

The WWE have waited a bit too long to start getting the younger generation of wrestlers over and have lost a number of the talented old guard in recent years. There's only so much longer until 'Taker, Triple H and Jericho end their respective in-ring careers and the WWE will have to fill their shoes with someone.

I'd rather Sheamus be in the title picture unless he were to end the streak. But I agree with you, the last thing I and many others want to see is Triple H and Taker facing eachother again... Now, if Shawn could be persuaded to return for a match with the two of them I'd be more than happy.

They have. I can no longer be bothered to watch and so am happy to cut Sky Sports (as outside NFL season it's only this and a bit of cricket and rugby and i'm not bothered about them as much anymore). Much more fun watching vids from when it wasn't gooseberry fool.

Apparently Punk was on Cobana's latest podcast and said he's getting a 3 disc DVD and he's choosing the matches himself.

Chyna goes ballistic on Twitter

Former WWE star Chyna has been tweeting wildly since about 6:30am CT this morning. As of the time of this writing, Chyna is closing in on 200 tweets in that time frame. The tweets seem top be random and are all over the map. She started by tweeting to former WWEs star Rikishi, Dragon Gate star PAC, and another Twitter user. Since then she has also tweeted @WWE and other Twitter users before dropping all Twitter handles and just speaking her mind. You can read all the tweets on her Twitter account @ChynaChyna9.

Shore's Slant: This is beyond bizarre. She's talked about everything from her claims of being raped on camera to WWE contracts to Triple H and Vince McMahon and more. She's been going all day and shows no signs of slowing down. I would be lying if I said this didn't make me worry about her a bit. This is not normal behavior.

She got banged too many times and she's out of whack.

I wonder if the WWE will show anything from Ring of Honor. Not sure what their relationship is like.

Having had a few years where I was mainly just watching TNA, has Punk had many "classic" matches?

He's worked in WWE long enough for them to use their own WWE History. Vince is notorious for not wanting to use other companies history, unless of course he owns them, and the people who will lap up the CM Punk DVD's will be the people that probably don't even know he worked in ROH all those years ago. It's not needed really, they may use a small amount of footage for disc one, the biography, but I'd doubt they'd have the matches his famous for, i.e. Punk vs Samoa Joe on there.

I think there have been a few exceptions - the Xcitement Wrestling Federation (XWF) made an appearance on the Hulk Hogan: The Ultimate Anthology DVD. That was worth it just to hear Tony Schiavone & Jerry Lawler call a match together.

But then the WWE have always had a pretty good relationship with Jimmy Hart, who's also allowed them to use Hogan's old WCW theme on various occasions.

Not a hope in hell of any ROH matches anywhere near WWE sets. He's had plenty of good matches anyway. Cena at MITB, Jeff Hardy at Summerslam, Rey at Armageddon, and a good series with Morrison. Must be lots I've missed too. By then hopefully he'll have Jericho at Mania to add and no doubt Del Rio at SS will be there too.

Surely if Natalya had any sense she would veto this farting gimmick. The worst that could happen is that she ends up in TNA with an actual career.

Does she have any 'backstage heat' on her or what? :| I don't see how she can go from somewhat dominating the Divas with Beth to not even having an official fallout with her. She just slipped away. If Kharma was still on leave, i was actually hoping we'd see Beth vs Natalya at Wrestlemania for the title but no way that's happening now. I mean, strawberry float sake how can she ever be taken seriously again after having a farting gimmick?

I don't know who they think will enjoy that gimmick. Adults hate fart jokes, kids/boys and teenagers will find her unattractive.

I think it's as simple as Vince McMahon hating the division. Most of them can't wrestle, the matches are terrible, the storylines are terrible & there's very little sex factor whatsoever. And the ironic thing is, it's all their fault. They've hired models instead of wrestlers & forgotten to actually train them.

Look at what Trish Stratus & Fit Finley did with the roster, & then compare that to now.

Apparently the WWE Network will have a cruiserweight only show. This can only be good.

It's silly how they hire models and don't have them flaunt their good looks more if they can't wrestle for gooseberry fool. Getting rid of Finlay was also a big mistake.

They should scrap the division and just let Kharma, Beth and Natalya have random matches whilst the rest become a new take on the Nitro Girls.

The Nitro Girls really was one of Eric Bischoff's better ideas.

They would usually start the show following the "Pyro & Ballyhoo", or come out & dance while the announcers plugged tickets or what was still to come later in the programme. It wasn't uncommon for Nitro to start, the pyro go off, the Nitro Girls dance, & then they'd go over to the announce position to discuss various developments.

The way Nitro was paced (until 1999) compared to today was just night & day. Very much like a sports broadcast.
