Hour 1

With Battleground in the history books, Monday Night RAW began with "one of the principal owners" Stephanie McMahon making her way out to address the conclusion to last night's main event. She said Orton vs. Bryan was ruined because of one selfish man, and that Big Show was going to have to answer to everyone right now. She demanded Show come out to the ring. Show made his way out, slapping hands of the fans. Some in the crowd chanted "knock her out". As Big Show went to speak, Stephanie told him to "shut up". She said he's under a lot of pressure and that has made him make some pretty bad decisions, but last night was inexcusable. Big Show shrugged and said sorry. Stephanie responded by saying damn right that he's sorry, as he's nothing more than a sad excuse of a man. She reminded Show that they had saved him from bankruptcy, and bought his mortgage, so it was time he man up and take responsibility for his actions. Show replied by saying "okay, can I go now?". Stephanie said no, as she repeatedly finger poked his chest. She reminded him that they don't just own his home, but they own him as well. He can't do anything in the company unless Triple H or she personally approves it. Stephanie then demanded Show get on his knees and beg for forgiveness. Crowd chanted "No". Stephanie told him that he is worthless, with no heart and, more importantly, no sole. I guess Walmart ran out of fish. Big Show said he wasn't going to beg. Show told Stephanie the reason he knocked out Orton was because he couldn't take it any more. But the only reason he knocked out Daniel Bryan was because Stephanie had told him too. She responded by saying that was typical, trying to twist it around and blame her. She reminded him that they weren't even there during the main event of Battleground. Stephanie put the blame on Brad Maddox, but Show was having none of it, saying Maddox was nothing but their puppet. He then got in Stephanie's face and called Triple her "son of a bitch husband". Stephanie then lost it and repeatedly started slapping Show in in the face. Big Show laughed. Stephanie said he isn't going to do anything because he's fired. Show, who was angry ish but not massively bothered, stormed off up the aisle shouting "I'm fired" as Stephanie was left stewing in the ring.

They announced Daniel Bryan, Goldust and Cody Rhodes would take on The Shield in a 6 man tag later tonight.

Match 1: In a rematch from Battleground Kick Off, Dolph Ziggler pinned Damien Sandow with the Fame-asser.

The commentators noted during the match that Big Show had been escorted out of the building by security.

Stephanie McMahon was backstage in her office berating Brad Maddox about last night's numerous cock-ups. She asked Brad if he'd made the arrangements. He said he had. Stephanie told Brad that he was going to go to the ring and apologise, and then make it up to the WWE Universe.

During the break on the WWE App, Bruno Sammartino came out on stage. Jerry Lawler, along with the live crowd, then sung Happy Birthday. 3 hour show and they couldn't even do this properly.

Match 2: Natalya, Eva Maria and JoJo defeated Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes and Aksana when Natalya tapped out Alicia Fox with the Sharpshooter.

The commentators mentioned the story that broke on .com earlier tonight in regards to AJ Lee, stating she was suffering from "concussion-like symptoms" following her match at Battleground and therefore had been sent home from RAW.

RAW General Manager Brad Maddox came out on the stage and apologised for last night. He said to make sure there would be a definitive conclusion to Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, he was making a rematch for Hell in a Cell. This received barely any reaction. Brad then announced he was assigning a Special Guest referee, out of a possible 3 WWE Hall of Famers, to be chosen through fan voting on the WWE App. He welcomed the first option to the stage: Booker T. Booker said he will do the right thing for the fans and the "right thing for business", before closing with "Can you dig that...".

Match 3: For the 3rd time running, Los Matadores (w/El Torito) beat 3MB.

Paul Heyman, Ryback and Curtis Axel were shown walking backstage heading towards the ring.

Heyman was in the ring with his crew. He said he was the best in the world, as he could make the claim he beat CM Punk with both hands tied behind his back.

Hour 2

Admittedly however Punk has some bragging rights of his own, as last night he pinned Ryback. He claimed what the record books should reflect was Punk is not only a bully but a cheater as well. They showed a photo of Punk low-blowing Ryback behind the referee's back. Heyman shook his head. This brought out CM Punk comically clutching his bollocks. Crowd chanted "CM Punk". Smiling, he asked Heyman if he was calling him a cheater. He said he wasn't going to admit to no wrong doing, as the only thing he did last night was win. Punk said the only reason he kicked Ryback in the balls was to see if he had any. WWE muted the audio in an attempt to censor "balls". Heyman promised that would never happen again. Punk fired back that Heyman's promises mean nothing, and he will beat Ryback once more, whether that's tonight, tomorrow or at Hell in a Cell. Punk said they were presumably out to challenge him to a rematch, so they don't even have to ask as he accepts. Heyman told Ryback Punk was bullying him. Ryback took the microphone and told Punk that if he had any balls, he would have hit them a long time ago. Standards and Practices once again muted the sound. Ryback told Punk to bring his "skinny little ass" to the ring and bully him right now. R-Truth came out. He motioned he and Punk should both team up right now and take them on. WCW President Charles Robinson turned up and the match was on.

Match 4: R-Truth and CM Punk defeated Curtis Axel and Ryback (w/Paul Heyman) when R-Truth pinned Axel off the Axe kick.

They revealed the second option for the Special Guest referee vote: Bob Backlund...to absolutely zero reaction from the crowd. This was both hilarious and rather embarrassing in equal measure. He screamed. He rambled. He fluffed his lines. He left through the wrong exit.

Match 5: Randy Orton pinned Kofi Kingston with the RKO.

Following the match, Daniel Bryan ran down and assaulted Randy Orton. Following a suicide dive through the middle rope to Orton on the floor, Bryan sent Orton flying over the announce table, sending the announcers scattering and the camera man tumbling to the floor. Producers, agents, and referees tried to separate them both, before Orton managed to make his escape and scarpered to the back, with Bryan and officials in hot pursuit. This was a great brawl that didn't receive anywhere near the reaction from the crowd it should have.

Vickie Guerrero was backstage telling some guy that next time he wanted vacation time he needed to run it by her first. Alberto Del Rio walked up to her. Vickie said how Triple H had invited her to RAW to make a special announcement tonight. Alberto Del Rio told her that he was hoping to have the night off, but he understands that people want to see their champion. Del Rio then began sucking up to her, saying she is the most talented and respected GM in history, sexy and intelligent. He then put his scarf around her kneck and kissed her on the cheek. He then smugly smirked walking off, as if he had got one over Vickie. However Vickie appeared to notice, before smelling Del Rio's scarf...and then dropping it on the floor.

They announced the final candidate for the Hell in a Cell: Shawn Michaels. Now who didn't see that one coming. Michaels said everyone was well aware Triple H is his personal best friend. Key word in that phrase being personal. And tonight is about business. Michaels said he wasn't aware how many people knew it, but he trained Daniel Bryan. However he said he wasn't going to let that sway him either. Michaels noted that when it comes to Orton, he doesn't like him and vice versa. Shawn said he wants everyone to download the App and vote for HB Shizzle. Crowd broke out into a "HB Shizzle" chant. He said he wants people to vote for him because he will guarantee that there will be a new WWE Champion, saying he doesn't care what's best for business, all he cares about is what's best for all the fans.

They recapped the opening segment between Stephanie and Big Show.

Hour 3

Vickie Guerrero came out and announced Alberto Del Rio would face Ricardo right now. Before the match got started, Vickie came back out onto the stage and announced Del Rio would defend the World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell against...JOHN CENA. A mere 2 months after triceps surgery.

Match 6: Ricardo pinned World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match with a roll-up, after Del Rio - along with the rest of us - was too busy being shocked at the prior revelation.

Alberto Del Rio then demolished Ricardo on the outside, placing his arm in a chair and repeatedly stomping on it. He then applied the Arm Breaker.

Match 7: Fandango (w/Summer Rae) pinned Zack Ryder off a top rope leg drop. Crowd were dead for this as well.

Jerry Lawler revealed Shawn Michaels had received 61% of the fan vote to be Special Guest Referee in the match between Orton and Bryan. Booker T received a paltry 7%.

Match 8: In another rematch from last night I think everyone saw coming, The Real Americans defeated Santino and Great Khali (w/Hornswoggle) when Cesaro used the Cesaro Swing on Khali. After the match, the dastardly heels grabbed Hornswoggle and Cesaro swung him too. Santino and Khali made the save, with Santino using the Cobra on Cesaro.

In a moving video, Titus O'Neil told a story about losing his mother to cancer.

The Miz was shown walking backstage, heading to the ring for another miserable helping of MizTV.

Miz was in the ring for MizTV. Bray Wyatt immediately came out, saving us all. When the lights came back up, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were both in the ring. Miz managed to make his escape straight away and sprinted up the ramp. Bray leant back and taunted Miz on the ramp. A few in the crowd chanted "Husky Harris".

Stephanie and Brad Maddox were in the office. Brad asked her if he had redeemed himself. She told him he still had a long way to go. Triple H arrived. He asked if Brad had managed to mess anything else up tonight. Brad said he was going to go to the ring to make sure the main event runs smoothly. Triple H interjected and told Brad to stay backstage as he was going to do it himself, and make sure what happens is "best for business".

In the 3rd rematch from Battleground, Curtis Axel vs. R-Truth for the Intercontinental Championship has been booked for SmackDown.

The King of Kings Triple H came out and positioned himself beside the announce table.

Main Event: The Shield vs. Cody Rhodes, Goldust and Daniel Bryan was about to end in a lame Disqualification after Ambrose got into the ring with a steel chair and nailed Cody Rhodes when Triple H interrupted and restarted the match as a NO DQ. Rollins pinned Bryan after Orton jumped out of the crowd and planted Daniel Bryan with an RKO on the floor. The Shield then went to work on Goldust and Cody at the bequest of Triple H.

Over-run

Big Show's music then hit, having somehow made his way back into the building. Hell, he even had time to notify the music guy. Show slowly made his way down the ramp, as Triple H retreated into the ring and hid behind The Shield. Big Show managed to overpower and dispatch all members of The Shield. As Triple H and Show went face to face, Show delivered the Knockout Punch, to the biggest reaction of the night. Daniel Bryan got back into the ring and chanted "Yes!" with the crowd, as Triple H was laid out cold in the ring to take RAW off the air.

Hour 1

The arrival of Shawn Michaels got Monday Night RAW off and running. Michaels thanked the fans for voting for him last week. He said he knows everyone is concerned about the feelings he has towards both men. He once again reiterated how he trained Daniel Bryan, and how he has always liked Bryan. He said the Hell in a Cell match isn't about him, rather about crowning a new WWE Champion. He noted how he was in the first Cell match right in this same building. Michaels guaranteed that one man would walk out the new champion in two weeks. This brought out Randy Orton. Orton told Shawn he has a match with Miz next, so he's going to make this quick. Orton said Michaels has everyone convinced, but he's going to let him in on a little secret. He reminded Shawn that he was born and raised in St. Louis, therefore knows the people better than Shawn. Orton then did the whole switch-er-roo on the crowd and said the people of St.Louis aren't all that bright. Crowd booed, while Michael Cole was seen laughing in the background. Orton told Shawn he'll always be better than him, and that eats Shawn up inside. Michaels responded with "Oh snap, were you talking, I wasn't even listening". Michaels told Orton that he doesn't need to worry about him, rather he needs to worry about Bryan. This set Orton off, as he told Michaels that he was going to have to watch as he destroys Bryan at the PPV, and he is going to enjoy every second of it. Orton reminded Shawn than he should be no stranger to screw jobs as it's practically his thing. Orton told Shawn that if he screws him then they'll be no coming back from what he'd do to him. Michaels responded by telling Orton that it seems he's trying to intimidate the referee. Michaels told him that a lot of people have tried and failed, and if he attempts it, he's going to kick his head off his shoulders. "And if you're not down with it that I've got two words for ya". As Michaels turned around, Orton attempted to hit him with an RKO, but Michaels managed to reverse it and was just about to hit Sweet Chin Music when Orton escaped under the bottom rope...only to be attacked from behind by The Miz. As he assaulted Orton on the outside, referees ran down to break it up as we crashed to commercial.

Match 1: Randy Orton defeated The Miz with an RKO when the lights in the building went out and, upon coming back up, Miz was distracted by the Wyatt family on the stage.

After the match, Bray Wyatt - who stayed in the rocking chair due to his injury - cut a promo on Miz, saying Miz epitomises everything he loathes. Bray asked how much it would take Miz to satisfy the craving he has for fame.

Match 2: Fandango (w/Summer Rae) pinned Santino with a roll-up when The Cobra almost ran in to Summer Rae on the apron.

Paul Heyman was in the RAW office with Brad Maddox. Paul had the TV play a video to Maddox of CM Punk cheating to beat Ryback at Battleground. Heyman demanded Maddox do something about it. Brad didn't get the problem since Ryback is already getting his rematch at Hell in a Cell. Paul said he wants much more - he wants to be able to pick the stipulation for the PPV (Oh I dunno...a Hell in a Cell match, maybe?). Heyman said he wants Punk to face Ryback and Curtis Axel in a 2-1 Handicap match. Brad wasn't impressed by the idea, as he doesn't think it's very fair. Heyman said Punk is a cheating weasel who doesn't understand the meaning of the word "fair". Maddox then suggested they put Paul's faith in Ryback to the test in a Beat the Clock challenge. If Ryback can Beat The Clock, then he will let Paul pick the stipulation for Hell in a Cell. But, if Punk beats Ryback's time, then Punk gets to pick the stipulation instead. Paul looked concerned.

The commentators mentioned how Xavier Woods of NXT has started a petition to bring back Big Show, which a number of superstars have apparently signed. JBL said he hadn't even heard of him. Strange, considering it was noted the other week Bradshaw is now the General Manager of NXT...

A John Cena video package aired for you to be sick over.

Match 3: Los Matadores (w/El Torito) defeated 3MB for what feels like the millionth time. I have no idea how the match ended because I wasn't paying attention.

They recapped Big Show's plight from last week.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon made their way out hand-in-hand. Stephanie said that last week she learned a valuable lesson, and that was not to let her kindness be mistaken for weakness. Crowd broke out in a loud "You got knocked out" chant at Triple H. Stephanie continued that they had bailed out the Big Show more times than she can remember, recently buying the mortgage on his house, and all they got in return was disrespect and insubordination. Last week Show came down and struck her husband in the face. Because of that Show is now fired, they're selling his house, and formerly pressing charges. She said that should be a lesson to the whole WWE locker room. Steph then referenced Michael Cole's reporting on WWE.com that Hunter had suffered a concussion and required his jaw to be wired shut. Of course this is Triple H, so she reminded everyone this was the ruler of the Attitude Era, and he is now defining a new era. This is Triple H: 13 time World Champion. The King of Kings. The man that ruled the Attitude Era with an iron first. With her power and support, Triple H is the WWE. Triple H took the microphone and said rumours of his demise have been greatly exaggerated. He said as COO of the WWE for two years, he did it all for the fans, sacrificing everything. Hunter said he became The Authority knowing what he would have to endure. He has endured the questioning and accusations, walkouts and insubordination, and that everyone has their breaking point, and his was last week when he was laid out and everyone chanted "YES!". The whole world chanted "YES!".

Hour 2

Hunter told the crowd that if they want him to be the bad guy, then fine. Triple H said he'll give everyone something they have never seen before. Show will grovel at his feet to avoid financial ruin. Anyone who disobeys them will need to beg to keep their jobs. He said that if anyone even thinks the word "YES!" then they had better start to pray right now. The crowd of course started chanting "YES", angering Triple H no end. This brought out Daniel Bryan to the stage. Alberto Del Rio then came out and attacked Bryan from behind, leaving him laying, as Triple H sarcastically chanted "YES!" in the ring.

Match 4 - BEAT THE CLOCK: Ryback defeated R-Truth in 5:44. Crowd chanted "Goldberg" (which was acknowledged by the commentators) and for the commentators themselves once again.

Stephanie was walking backstage when she ran into the Bellas. She mentioned how she hasn't had the opportunity to congratulate her on the engagement. Steph pondered what Daniel Bryan will have to say about her match later tonight against Tamina Snuka. Stephanie said Nikki would be banned from ringside. AJ Lee however will have a birds eyes view.

Zeb Colter challenged Los Matadores in an inset-promo.

Match 5: The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) defeated Brodus Clay and Sweet T when Antonio Cesaro hit the Neutraliser on Brodus Clay. After the match Cesaro then attempted The Swing on Sweet T. This was by far the worst one yet.

Match 6: Tamina Snuka beat Brie Bella. After the match Brie was nailed with a Samoan Drop, a Shoulder Breaker and a Splash off the top, as AJ Lee looked on. Lee than applied the Black Widow submission as referees tried to break it up.

As if to add insult to what has been the most boring RAW of the last 20 years, I've developed a sore throat. It's official, RAW makes you ILL.

Stephanie McMahon was watching a Bill Goldberg vs Triple H match with Brad in the office. It was of Mr Insecurity clotheslining Goldberg over the top rope. Daniel Bryan stormed in. He angrily stated how it wasn't good enough that she was making his life a living hell, she'd had to move onto Brie now as well. Maddox tried to intervene but Bryan told him not to get in his business. Stephanie reminded Bryan that doesn't he have a fiancée to go attend to?

Hour 3

Match 7: CM Punk defeated Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel in a non title bout with 11 seconds remaining on the clock after hitting the GTS. Paul Heyman stormed off up the aisle way. As he screamed that he couldn't believe it, Punk was passed a microphone and questioned where he was going as the party was just getting started. Punk decided he liked Heyman's idea from earlier, therefore it's going to be CM Punk vs. Ryback and Paul Heyman at Hell in a Cell...inside the Cell itself.

Match 8: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio defeated Daniel Bryan in a non-title match via Count Out. Randy Orton appeared on the Titan Tron during the match outside the Trainers Room. He told Bryan he was going to check on Brie. As the door slammed shut, all we heard was screaming coming from within. Daniel Bryan made his way backstage. After barging the door open, he was confronted by just The Bellas, who didn't know where Orton had teleported to. Bryan then stood there like the world's biggest idiot, as Orton then attacked him from behind and laid him out. The Bellas did their usual acting routine that would shame a Secondary School Drama class. All and sundry then checked on Bryan. HE'S TOTALLY strawberry floating USELESS.

The Shield were laughing in the RAW office and saying it was too bad about Bryan. Triple H told The Shield the gloves were now off and they needed to finish it tonight, as the match was now NO DQ. Stephanie and Triple H then made out.

We all went on a "personal journey" in another John Cena video package. They showed a load of self-shot Cena videos on his recovery. This was like a modern day version of one of those Hulk Hogan training videos from the 80s. Just without Mene Gene.

They announced CM Punk will be on SmackDown on Friday.

Over-run

Main Event: Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeated The Shield in a No Disqualification match to capture the World Tag Team Championship when "Big Nasty" Paul Wight showed up through the crowd and dismantled The Shield, before finally knocking out Reigns and allowing Cody to make the cover. As Wight made his exit back through the crowd, Triple H stormed into the ring and shoved Goldust to the outside, and proceeded to lose his gooseberry fool. With the crowd and Big Show chanting "YES!", RAW went off the air with Rhodes and Goldust raising the belts and Triple H losing the plot. Last 6 minutes of the tag match was highly enjoyable. Crowd were dead for the first half.

WWE RAW Results October 21st 2013 wrote:Image

Commentators: Michael Cole, John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Jerry "The King" Lawler

Hour 1

The last RAW before Hell in a Cell kicked off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon coming out to the ring hand in hand. Stephanie ran down the card for Sunday. Stephanie once again guaranteed a new WWE champion would be crowned. Hunter said the fans trust Shawn Michaels, and he trusts him too. Triple H said he respects HBK more than anyone else in WWE. Big Show's voice was then heard in the arena, before showing up on the Tron via an apparent rogue satellite feed. Show was standing in front of what appeared to be one of those fake brick walls. Stephanie was seen asking numerous stage-hands and the time keeper how Big Show had managed to somehow hijack a production truck and intercept the RAW feed. I guess we'll have to find out. Or they simply won't explain it. Big Show went on about Triple H and a complete lack of respect, saying they both treat everybody with disdain. This prompted Triple H to reply that Show is a loser who has squandered all of his money and can't keep food on the table, and that he's looking for a free ride and a hand-out, just like the fans. Hunter said there is no free ride, Show is done, and he's glad he's done. Show asked if HHH was mad because he's suing him for the millions of dollars still left on his contract, or for slander. Show said perhaps Triple H is angry because he just woke up on the wrong side of the bed...but then again considering who he's sleeping next to, any side of bed is the wrong side. Stephanie demanded Show shut up. Big Show fired back that she shut her mouth. Stephanie then counted down, before Show was finally cut off mid-sentence. Triple H said with that out of the way and Big Show's career going out with a whimper, here was Dean Ambrose for his match with Daniel Bryan. However Daniel Bryan's music hit and he came out first instead.

Match 1: In a great long 16 minute match, Daniel Bryan tapped out Dean Ambrose with the Yes! Lock.

CM Punk came out on the stage for a promo. Punk said that the Cell itself not only settle scores, but it also ends careers and defines legacies. Punk says his legacy will be determined by what he does to Paul Heyman on Sunday. Heyman said Heyman may think Ryback can protect him and save him from the beating that he deserves, but he can't because they will be locked in the cell with the devil who will do whatever needs to be done. The goal is not to win or pin his shoulders to the mat, but rather make Paul Heyman submit. He claimed the plan is to incapacitate Ryback, put him to sleep, and then watch Heyman wiggle around like a worm. Punk said that three men will walk into the structure but only one man will walk out under their own power, and that man will be the "Best in the World".

Backstage in the The Authority's office, Triple H was telling Vickie Guerrero about handling the little stuff, and not to screw up being the replacement for Brad Maddox tonight. Shawn Michaels turned up and hugged Hunter. Shawn asked Triple H and Stephanie if they don’t think Daniel Bryan can be champion. Hunter says that he could be champion but not the face of WWE. Shawn reminded Hunter that they said the same thing about him years ago, and that "they" also said the same thing about Triple H. Stephanie wanted to know how Big Show appeared on the feed earlier. Shawn reminded her how DX used to do it to her old man and back then she thought it was funny. Stephanie says that things have changed in case Shawn hadn't noticed. Shawn said that was a shame. Shawn then said that it was still a good thing that at least one of them didn’t have to grow up, so he was off to go have some fun.

Match 2: Santino, dressed as Elvis (w/Great Khali and Hornswoggle, both wearing Elvis wigs) defeated Heath Slater (w/3MB) with the Elvis Cobra (the puppet with...a wig).

Santino and Jerry Lawler then got on the announce table and danced to what sounded like a cheap imitation of Blue Suede Shoes.

Randy Orton was shown backstage heading towards the ring.

They recapped the opening segment.

Hour 2

Match 3: Randy Orton pinned Dolph Ziggler off an RKO.

We had to endure another of those John Cena diary packages.

They announced the announcement from WWE.com that Brie Bella has got AJ Lee on Sunday for the Divas title.

Match 4: The Bellas defeated AJ Lee and Tamina when Brie pinned Lee with the X-Factor.

They showed a highlights reel of Alberto Del Rio from YouTube.

Renee Young was backstage saying things are getting "crazy" in WWE recently, before they aired Big E Langston turning face on SmackDown. Paul Heyman, Ryback and Curtis Axel turned up. Paul Heyman ended up going mental describing a volcano erupting and melting the villagers. Heyman claimed that rather than fantasising about the Divas, Punk fantasises about him. Paul says that unlike Punk he is not full of emotion. He is cold hearted, calculated, and in control. Big E Langston walked in, asking who the marginal talent was now. Axel demanded Langston show some respect. Langston told Axel that if he wants a match, he has it. Both men were about to get into it when Paul reminded Curtis Axel that he doesn't fight for free.

They aired a short video package on a very tanned Shawn Michaels' training Daniel Bryan, comprising a load of indie footage.

Match 5: Luke Harper and Erick Rowan (w/Bray Wyatt) defeated Miz and Kofi Kingston when Luke Harper nailed Kofi with a Clothesline from Hell. After the match, Luke Harper put the beating on Kofi, until Miz made the save...but was promptly dispatched as well. As they tied Miz up in the ring ropes, Bray cut one of his wacky promos. Some in the crowd gave him the "What" treatment

Curtis Axel vs. Big E Langston never got started when Ryback got involved before the bell while Langston and Axel were tussling in the ring. Big E tried to fight them both off but was eventually overpowered. On the outside, Heyman hit Langston from behind with a Kendo stick. Ryback then levelled Langston with a vicious clothesline. This brought out Punk with a Kendo stick of his own. Vickie Guerrero walked on out and said she was restarting this match as a tag bout. The commentators noted the match had never officially got started anyway.

Match 6: CM punk and Big E Langston defeated Curtis Axel and Ryback when Langston pinned Axel with the Big Ending.

Hour 3

After the match, Punk went after Paul Heyman through the crowd.

R-Truth was flogging a load of tacky merchandise from WWE Shop with a 20% off code.

Goldust vs. Seth Rollins was announced for Main Event Wednesday night.

Match 7: Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro (w/Zeb Colter) defeated Brodus Clay and Sweet T.

El Torito cut an inset promo. Didn't understand a word.

After the match, Zeb Colter pulled out a Indiana Jones bull whip and said "We the people".

Curtis Axel vs. Big E Langston for the Intercontinental Championship was announced for Hell in a Cell Kickoff.

More WWE merchandise plugging as Jerry Lawler started hitting Michael Cole with a John Cena Brawling Buddy soft toy.

They aired a video package highlighting John Cena's career, beginning with his début against Kurt Angle on SmackDown in 2002.

They re-aired Alberto Del Rio's comments on SmackDown. Great 3rd hour this has been...

Tag Team Champions Goldust and Cody Rhodes came out for commentary. They've now got a Goldust/"It's only smoke and mirrors" theme music mash-up.

MizTV with Randy Orton was announced for SmackDown. JBL noted he hates MizTV. Don't we all John, don't we all...

Main Event: The Shield vs. The Usos ended in a No Contest when everyone got into it around ringside. Rhodes and The Usos were ultimately left standing tall, as The Shield retreated back through the crowd.

They announced a Triple Threat Tag Team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship for Hell in a Cell involving the 3 teams involved in the prior fracas.

Triple H and Stephanie were back in the ring for the WWE Title Contract signing. Randy Orton made his way out, followed by Daniel Bryan. Triple H gave Shawn Michaels the big sell introduction. Crowd chanted for "HBK". Orton said he has to gave Bryan credit, as every week he beats him down and every week he gets back up. However after the beating he gives him Sunday he wont be getting back up any more. Orton said he has survived against the Undertaker, and beaten Sheamus and John Cena in the Hell in a Cell. He told Bryan he has no idea what he's getting in to. He noted that Bryan's first Cell match will in fact be his last. Orton then signed the contract. Bryan took the microphone, saying that while Orton has pushed him to his limit every time, if if it were not for The Shield or The Authority, he would be standing in the ring now as WWE champion. Bryan then teased that he had two words for Orton. Crowd replied with "Suck it!". It was actually "Thank you". Thank you for making him more than a B+ player, exposing himself as nothing more than a patsy, and Triple H and Stephanie as the spoiled brats. Bryan then too signed the contract.

Over-run

The Ultimate Burial machine known as The King of Kings then took charge. Hunter told Bryan that he has seen guys like Daniel come and go. Wrestlers like Chris Jericho, Edge, and Rob Van Dam. They were popular, sure, but they were never "the one". The fact is, Hunter claimed, was that if any of those guys had been the face of the WWE back in the day, everyone would now be working for Ted Turner. This got a "Ooooooh" from the crowd. Triple H continued that on Sunday Bryan will prove that all he is is a B+ player. Bryan responded by telling Triple H that he talks a big game hiding behind his suit, and that maybe he should trade it in for wrestling gear. Hunter smiled and said this is what Bryan doesn't get: he is more than capable of wrestling, but Bryan isn't a star. Hunter said he only fights guys like Undertaker, The Rock, or Brock Lesnar. Triple H said he only fights A+ players. He said he fights stars because they want to fight a star. Hunter said he wasn't going to waste his time fighting someone as insignificant as Bryan. HELL OF A WAY TO SELL A strawberry floating PPV MAIN EVENT THIS IS, HUNTER. This killed the crowd. Triple H, still continuing on, chimed that Shawn Michael should never have wasted his time training him. Michaels then finally interjected, saying he didn't waste his time as Bryan is very good. Shawn said he had to ask HHH, 'what has happened to you?'. Michaels' questioned what had happened to the guy that drove the tank into WCW's back yard, or the guy that played strip poker on Live TV. Michaels said at Hell in a Cell he's going to do what's right for the business he loves. Orton shouted that Michaels has an agenda against him. Hunter stepped back in and said to both Orton and Shawn that that wasn't the case. "At the end of the day, Shawn will do what's right". Michaels asked Triple H what he has against Bryan; was it his size, the beard, the fact he marches to the beat of a different drum, or was it that after everything thrown at him, Bryan has proved Triple H wrong. Orton interjected and said Bryan knows he can't beat him, and on Sunday he's going to take Bryan straight to hell. Suddenly the camera cut to the back, where a Big Rig truck, minus its trailer, was shown speeding through the parking lot and into the arena with Big Show at the wheel. It hit a few rubbish bins, before entering the building...the LED panelling conveniently raised beside the stage. Steve Austin raising hell this most certainly wasn't. As Big Show stepped out onto the door, he motioned for Randy Orton to turn around in the ring. Daniel Bryan then nailed him with a Running Knee. The show went off the air with Daniel Bryan, Big Show and the crowd chanting "YES!", much to the chagrin of The Authority.

Hour 1

Monday Night RAW began with an announcement that Shawn Michaels will explain his actions from last night, in addition to a Randy Orton Championship Celebration. They also announced CM Punk will take on Ryback in a Hell in a Cell rematch, with voting on the WWE App deciding between a Street Fight, Falls Count Anywhere or Tables match.

New WWE Champion John Cena came out. He asked if we all missed him. Cena turned his attention to JBL at the announce table, saying that he was one sceptic who thought he came back too soon, but last night he proved him wrong. Cena did a piss poor impersonation of JBL mocking him. Cena then rather surpisingly turned his attentions to the UK tour next month, noting how he's not going there for a "special appearance," rather he's going to Europe to fight. Damien Sandow interrupted. He said Cena wasn't fooling anyone and his arm is more hurt than he's letting on. Sandow teased cashing in but then changed his mind. As Sandow was about to leave he turned around and levelled Cena with the briefcase. He then went to work on Cena's arm, destroying the briefcase as he repeatedly bashed Cena's elbow. With Cena now on the outside, Sandow took Cena's arm and smashed it around the ring post over and over, before finally chucking him shoulder-first into the barricade. Sandow still wasn't done however, as he manoeuvred Cena arm's onto the steel steps, grabbed a chair and crushed Cena's arm between the stairs and the chair. Sandow demanded a referee come to the ring, as he announced he was cashing in right now. As we headed to commercial, John Cena was left clutching his arm, downed on the outside.

Match 1 - MONEY IN THE BANK CASH IN: John Cena defeated Damien Sandow with the AA to retain the WWE Championship in a long, and actually very good, match that went through 2 commercial breaks. Cena kicked out of all of Sandow's moves, but in the end John Cena's one armed Attitude Adjustment was just too devastating for the intellectual one to overcome.

The Shield cut a promo on The Tron stating that tonight could be the most important in the history of The Shield. Dean Ambrose said he was being forced to defend the US Title tonight against Big E Langston in a rematch from last night's Hell in a Cell. He said it's a privilege for Langston to share a ring with him. Rollins took over and said that last night they made a mistake by underestimating Langston, but tonight they have the opportunity to rectify that mistake. Ambrose noted he is the only member of the group with a championship, which garnered unimpressed looks from the other two towards him.

Match 2: Big E Langston defeated US Champion Dean Ambrose by Disqualification in under 2 minutes when The Shield low-bridged the top rope and Langston fell to the outside, where they immediately put the boots to him. The Usos ran down to make the save and cleaned house. Teddy Lo...Brad Maddox came out and announced a 6 man tag.

Match 3: The Shield beat The Usos and Big E Langston when Roman Reigns hit a Double Spear on The Usos and got the pin.

Shawn Michaels made his way out to a mixed reaction. He started by saying he knows he owes everybody an explanation, and more importantly Daniel Bryan one. He requested Bryan come to the ring so he could explain his actions face-to-face. Daniel Bryan's music hit and an angry Bryan walked to the ring.

Hour 2

Shawn said he knows he's not happy, but Bryan needs to understand he didn't mean it to happen, and that he called that match down the middle, as the crowd erupted into a loud "you sold out" chant. Michaels said he saw what happened to Triple H, his best friend, and despite what anyone thinks, that is never, ever going to change and he doesn't care what anyone else thinks. Their friendship will always supersede anything that happens in the WWE. Michaels told Bryan that during his deepest, darkest hours, Triple H was always there for him, and last night he needed him to be there for him and he was. Michaels said he was not asking Bryan to be okay with that, but just to accept his apology. Crowd booed and chanted "No!". Bryan shook his head. Michaels said that over 10 years ago he taught him the foundations, but he built on that and and took it further than he ever imagined. Michaels asked Bryan to see Hell in a Cell as him being taken to finishing school, where he learns the most valuable lesson of all; in the WWE, you don't trust anyone, not even his soon to be wife. Shawn Michaels, gradually beginning to morph into 1997 mode, said he was humbling himself and being gracious enough to apologise on nationwide TV, so how about Bryan show him some respect in return, the respect he has has earned, and shake his hand. Bryan again refused. Michaels then entered full on heel mode and called Bryan a "self riotous little puke", and for 7 month he has been listening to people say Bryan is nothing more than a B+ and he's defended him at every opportunity, but quite honestly he doesn't know any more and now doesn't care anyway. Shawn said he's an A+ player, always will be and demanded he shake his hand. After thinking about it, Bryan then shook Shawn's hand...and then pulled him to the mat and slapped on the Yes! lock, forcing him to begin tapping out. Referees then ran down to the ring and pulled Bryan off, as the crowd chanted "You tapped out" at Shawn. The commentators were left questioning where Triple H was.

Renee Young was about to interview Daniel Bryan backstage when the lights went out and, upon coming back up, The Wyatt's were assaulting Bryan. After beating him up and throwing him into the wall, Bray did his finishing move on Bryan into a steel fence, before then running a trunk into his head, leaving him convulsing on the floor.

Match 4: In what has to be the worst running joke in company history, The Matadores defeated 3MB in a 3-2 Handicap tag match. 3MB came out carrying a massive fishing net on a rod, which led to silliness during and after the match where Heath Slater tried to capture El Torito with it. Unfortunately it ended up with a fire extinguisher going off from under the ring and the net over the head of Heath. Oh, immense fun was had by all...

Match 5: Tamina and Divas' Champion AJ Lee defeated The Bella Twins.

Match 6: Kane pinned The Miz with the Chokeslam in a 1 minute squash.

Kane took the microphone and demanded Stephanie McMahon come down to the ring. She walked out onto the stage and said that was close enough. He told her that she has been on a power trip, manipulating and ruining lives. After a pause, he said that in this day in age, it's what's best for business, before then going on to tell her that "The Monster is yours to unleash." Kane walked up the ramp, stopped on the stage, pulled his mask/wig off, and handed it to Stephanie, as he headed backstage. Stephanie McMahon then held it aloft with a huge smile on her face, presumably having plans to use it later with Triple H in some sort of satanic sex ritual...

The Prime Time Players flogged some gooseberry fool from WWEShop with FREE SHIPPING. Promo code PTP for anyone reading this and in need of a Daniel Bryan lampshade. No, that wasn't a joke.

In a clip from WWE.com, David Otunga, whoever he is, was shown reading aloud a legal letter in regards to Big Show's lawsuit. Apparently this lawsuit is so big it could cost the McMahon's the entire company.

CM Punk came out and cut a promo. He said he knows it doesn't look like it, but last night he slept like a baby. Punk has Stuart Baggs under his eyes. He promised he'd get Heyman at Hell in a Cell and he delivered, caning him to within an inch of his life, and then put him to sleep. Paul said Heyman is now history, as Orlando erupted into a "CM Punk" chant. Now there is only one thing left to do, and that's to take out the knuckle dragging Neanderthal Ryback.

They re-aired the beatdown of Bryan from earlier, and They announced Bryan had been taken to a local hospital.

Jerry Lawler revealed to the Live crowd users of the WWE App had chosen a Street Fight, with 59% of the vote.

Hour 3

Match 7: CM Punk made quick work of Ryback after an elbow drop through a table, and then applied the Anaconda Vice. Crowd chanted "GOLDBERG" right from the opening bell.

After the match, The Wyatt family made their entrance as Punk was celebrating. Despite Punk's best efforts to fight them off, he was overpowered and taken out. Bray then got in the ring and then dropped Punk with Sister Abigail.

Match 8: The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) beat Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust in a non-title match when Swagger tapped out Goldust to the Patriot Ankle Lock.

They re-aired highlights of the opening segment/ WWE title match.

Former World Champion Alberto Del Rio came out waving the Mexican flag. He said he doesn't care about Damien Sandow, rather John Cena. He appeared to swear in his native tongue which led to the audio being muted. Del Rio said Cena may have got the victory tonight, but he's getting a rematch, and that injured arm is a target. Del Rio stated the title belongs to him, but then we already knew that.

They plugged the WWE 2K14 videogame. They asked fans what dream match they'd like to see play out in the game. 55% voted for Goldberg vs. The Undertaker, which they then aired. Goldberg lost to the Tombstone.

John Cena announced for SmackDown.

Main Event: Natalya (w/ Khali and Hornswoggle) defeated Summer Rae (w/Fandango) with the Sharpshooter in a match that went far, far, far, FAR too long.

The WWE locker room were all out on the stage. King of Kings played and out came Triple H and Mega Knockers. They had the red carpet rolled out on the canvas. The Shield were also in the ring. Triple H said he mentored Randy Orton and watched him become a star. He then watched that star do horrible things to people, including the McMahon family. That A+ player then matured and become the face of the WWE, not some B+ player, or sawn off little troll who is currently sitting in a hospital. Triple H said it was with great pride he now introduce us all to new WWE Champion, Randy Orton. Orton walked out, as the McMahon's clapped in the ring. Orton, Stephanie and Triple H embraced. Stephanie said Orton is everyone's champion, and represents everyone standing on that stage tonight. Stephanie asked them to show Orton the respect he so richly deserves. Orton took the microphone and said having the WWE title makes him better than us, and better than everyone on the stage, who spend their days fantasising that they'll one day take the title. As Orton claimed that he was all their superior, Big Show's music hit and he marched his way down the ramp. The Shield and Show got into it in the aisleway, as The Usos then stormed into the fray too.

Over-run

As they and others dispatched The Shield to the back, Big Show was left with a clean path to those in the ring, scattering Orton and company to the outside. Show said he knows about the restraining order, but you can't expect him to just sit by. Show asked them what was the worst that could happen. He gets arrested? Show said he has friends that can get him bail. Show claimed his lawsuit was going to cost the company millions, nor does he care if he bankrupts the entire WWE. He told Hunter and Stephanie that he has absolutely nothing to lose. Randy Orton then nailed him with the WWE title from behind. As Orton went to hit him again, Show struck with the KO punch. With the crowd in euphoria, Hunter took his jacket off and teased getting in the ring, but then stepped down. As the crowd broke out into a loud "Lets go Big Show" chant, Show's music played to take RAW off the air.

WWE RAW is Renee Young Results 4th November 2013 wrote:Image

Hour 1

CM Punk came out to get RAW off and running. They replayed CM Punk's beatdown at the hands of the Wyatt family last week.

Match 1: CM Punk defeated Luke Harper (w/Bray Wyatt & Erick Rowan) with a reverse roll-up at 11:00. After the match Rowan nailed Punk from behind, and the Wyatt's began putting the beating on Punk. A taped up Daniel Bryan then ran down and made the save with a steel chair, levelling them with chair shots, making the Wyatt Family retreat up the aisle.

They announced Randy Orton would face Dolph Ziggler, Big E Langston or The Miz later tonight dependent on fan voting through the WWE App.

In a rematch from SmackDown, John Cena, Cody Rhodes and Goldust will face The Real Americans and Damien Sandow.

A particularly lovely looking Renee Young interviewed CM Punk backstage. He said he knew it wouldn't be a fair fight against the Wyatt family, just as it wasn't with Paul Heyman. Punk said he wasn't the only one who has a problem with the Wyatt Family, before walking off.

Michael Cole interviewed Paul Heyman on the phone. Heyman said he was in Europe receiving medical treatment for a multitude of injuries he had sustained at the hands of Punk on top of the Hell in a Cell. Heyman said after everything that he and Punk have been through, it is inexcusable what he has done to him. He then demanded an apology from the WWE Universe. Michael Cole asked Heyman if he was crying - he was - leading Heyman to hang up.

They showed Ryback shoving a cupcake into the forehead of Hornswoggle on the WWE App. Santino walked in and said how about he pick on somebody his own size. He then pointed to Khali who was standing right behind Ryback.

Match 2: Ryback beat Great Khali (w/Santino and Hornswoggle) with a Clothesline in a hideous encounter. Ryback chucked Santino into the barricade after the match.

Match 3: Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston with the Cross Arm Breaker at 7:00.

They aired a video, compiling the last few months of programming, put together by Big Show's attorney in regards to the lawsuit against the WWE. Everything from Breach of Contract to Intimidation and Extortion. Not sure how they got this on the air...

They showed photos of some baseball player wearing a replica of the WWE Title, and an exchange he had with John Cena on Twitter.

Hour 2

As Jerry Lawler was about to reveal who fans had voted for on the WWE App, Randy Orton interrupted and said he had something he wanted to say. Orton claimed all the women in the crowd fantasise what it would be like to wake up to Randy Orton. And there are men in the audience who will never amount to half the man he is, saying the faces in the crowd show nothing buy jealousy and envy. Who does he think he is, Scott Steiner. Orton said the only thing the people have power over is who was going to be "The Viper's next victim". Lawler revealed 75% had voted for Big E Langston.

Match 4: WWE Champion Randy Orton pinned Big E Langston in a very competitive non-title match at 12:00. Finish saw Big E Langston going for the Big Ending, but Orton slipped behind and nailed him with the Diamond Cutter.

There has been a ton of recapping of the Big Show storyline tonight, with numerous clips from the past few months of TV.

They plugged WWE 2K14. Fans voted to see a simulation of John Cena vs. The Rock from WrestleMania 29. Charted 7th in the UK All Formats BTW.

Match 5: Natalya and returning Tyson Kidd beat Fandango & Summer Rae when Tyson Kidd caused Fandango to tap-dance out with the Sharpshooter. I love how when Natalya's music hits the crowd think it's going to be Bret Hart. Every. Single. Time.

They aired footage of Tyson and Natalya's wedding. Jim Neidhart looked in rough shape once again, despite only being shown briefly.

Renee Young interviewed Damien Sandow backstage. He vowed to stop at nothing to get what he wants. The Real Americans then turned up and said they were going to defeat the tag champions for the second time, and prove why they are the most dominant tag team in the WWE.

They re-aired yet more "evidence" for and against Big Show, this time replaying Big Show turning up on last week's RAW.

John Cena cut a promo pointing out various breast cancer survivors in the crowd, and thanked the fans for supporting Susan G Komen throughout October.

They announced tickets for WrestleMania XXX go on sale November 16th 2013.

Big E Langston vs Curtis Axel was announced for Main Event on Wednesday.

Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter were on commentary. They still hate each other. No, I can't believe the continuity either.

Hour 3

Match 6: WWE Champion John Cena, and Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeated The Real Americans and Damien Sandow when Goldust hit the Final Cut on Antonio Cesaro for the pin. This match was even better than the one on SmackDown (which I don't think they even mentioned), in front of a much hotter crowd.

They re-aired the attorney Big Show package. Groan.

A suited and booted Big Show was shown walking backstage, shaking hands with the likes of R-Truth and The Prime Time Players. Meanwhile, Triple H was in the RAW office on his mobile phone when Vickie Guerrero walked in and told him that he's here. HHH asked who was here. Vickie responded by saying Big Show, leading Hunter to ask why the hell she let him in the building. Stephanie McMahon entered the room and told Triple H Vickie didn't let Show in, she did. The WWE Board has demanded it, and they don't want to take any risks with WWE right now. Stephanie told Hunter that this wasn't about them, but about the company, and The Board want it settled tonight. An agitated Triple H said it always becomes a personal McMahon family issue. Stephanie reminded Triple H that he has never had problems taking McMahon family money before. Triple H told Vickie to go get Big Show and bring him into the office.

Match 7: Dolph Ziggler pinned Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel with the ZigZag in a non-title match.

Renee Young caught a quick word backstage with Daniel Bryan. She asked him whether it was wise to come back tonight after what had happened to him last week. Bryan said he saw an opportunity for revenge and took it. Bryan said it looks like somebody else has a problem with the Wyatt's too...

Triple H and Stephanie were in their office talking to each other. They said with the right cheque, the lawsuit goes away. Vickie walked in. They asked where Show was. Vickie told them Big Show wanted to meet them in the ring later tonight. Triple H told Stephanie Big Show obviously wants witnesses...somehow failing to realise the camera crew standing there in their office, broadcasting this entire conversation to the world.

Match 8: The Usos defeated 3MB.

Renee Young, somehow getting more attractive with each appearance, was backstage with Los Matadores. They ran a short 'highlights' package without a hint of irony. El Torito ran in. One of them noted he was horny. The other said what he meant was he was going to give Renee the horn to the knees.

Match 9: The Bellas and Eva Marie defeated AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka and Aksana when Eva Marie rolled up Tamina. No idea who we're supposed to be cheering here.

Triple and Nipple were shown heading towards the ring for their confrontation with the Showster.

Luke Harper vs. Daniel Bryan was announced for Friday.

King of Kings signalled the arrival of The Authority hand-in-hand. Triple H said Show wants to waste everyone's time, and demanded he come to the ring right now. Show, with theme music, made his way out. Who is controlling this music. Steph asked what his demands were. Big Show responded by saying how about a broom, so she can hop on and fly back to Connecticut. HHH stepped in and said he could throws barbs with the best of them. Hunter asked how many zeros he wanted. Show said it wasn't about money, and that he has no money problems as he has no money. Show said he simply wants his job back. Hunter said he can take his job request and stick it. Stephanie then stepped in and attempted to calm her husband down. Stephanie said if he wants his job back then he's got it. Show went to the crowd and got them chanting "Yes!". That was Bryan's chant once. Show said it felt good. However there's just one more little thing - the world's largest athlete deserves the world's largest bonus, and that is to become "The face of the WWE". Stephanie asked if he was joking and whether he had looked in the mirror lately. Triple H then tried to calm her down. The Shield's music hit and they made their way through the crowd. Show asked if this was some sort of trick as we crashed to commercial at 3:57.

Over-run

Back from break, The Shield were standing around at ringside. Triple H apologised for the interruption. Show told him to tread lightly. Big Show told Hunter that he's going to give him a WWE Championship match against Randy Orton at Survivor Series. Hunter then got in Show's face and said he's got his job back, so he'd better just leave before he's left in a puddle of his own blood. Big Show said fair enough and decided to make his way to the back, telling them that his attorney would be in touch to complete his lawsuit and own them all, before cheerfully telling them to "have a good night!" After briefly thinking about it, Triple H told Show to wait a minute, mumbling that he's got his match at Survivor Series. Show made his way back to the ring, asking Hunter to repeat himself. HHH mumbled it again. Show asked him to repeat it once more, this time clearly and in a coherent voice. 'You have your job back, you have a Championship match at Survivor Series against Randy Orton'. Show asked Hunter to shake his hand. Hunter told Show that as he's got his job back, it's only fair that he step back in the ring tonight on RAW. Triple told Show that he would face all three members of The Shield...and Randy Orton.

Main Event: Big Show defeated The Shield and Randy Orton via Disqualification in a 4-1 Handicap match at 3:00 when Corporate Kane (sans mask, clean shaven, and wearing a suit!) came down and threw 3 chairs into the ring, leading to Show being worn out with said object. As Triple H, Stephanie, and Glenn Jacobs watched on from ringside, a beaten Big Show was dragged to the outside and nailed by Roman Reigns with the ring steps. They then dismantled the announce table and drove Show through it with a Triple Power Bomb. The amount of effort Big Show was exerting to go up for the move was quite blatant. Randy Orton then got in Show's face and held the Championship aloft to take RAW off the air.

WWE RAW: Country Results wrote:Image

Location: Bridgestone Arena; Nashville, Tennessee
Commentary: Michael Cole, Jerry "Her teeth were stained but her heart was pure" Lawler and John "Bradshaw" Layfield

Hour 1

They announced Curtis Axel would defend the Intercontinental Championship later tonight against Big E Langston. In addition to that, Florida Georgia will perform Live, and The Rhodes will team up with The Usos, Daniel Bryan and CM Punk to take on The Wyatt Family and The Shield in a 12 man Tag Team match in the main event.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, "The Authority", came out to get Monday Night RAW: Country off to a rocking start. Hunter said that last week proved how much Authority is needed as RAW descended into chaos. Triple H claimed those responsible, namely Brad Maddox and Vickie Guerrero, have been avoiding them all day, but they will both be dealt with tonight. An angry Randy Orton interrupted and marched down to the ring. He said the only people he blames for last week is The Authority. They're the ones who didn't make it clear who was in charge, and they're the ones that caved in to the Big Show's WWE Title demand. Orton said they should be protecting their most valuable asset; not John Cena, not Daniel Bryan, not Big Show and not CM Punk, but himself. Stephanie said he was "probably right", which only angered Orton even more, as there was no "probably" about it. Orton said he won't be able to defeat Big Show on Sunday, and as he's the face of the WWE, what are they going to do about it. Hunter responded by saying that he is the face of their company. A pathetic and weak sounding "Excuse me" is then heard as Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox made their way onto the stage. Brad Maddox said he would like to take responsibility for his actions last week...and it was all Vickie's fault. Crowd cheered. Triple H said it was irrelevant who was at fault, as they were both going to pay. Stephanie stepped in and said that as they booked a load of Handicap matches last week, they are clearly desensitized to the damage that those matches can do, therefore, they'll be competing in individual competition tonight. Vickie will face AJ Lee, and Brad Maddox will face the man already in the ring - Randy Orton, and he'll do so next. To make it fair, claimed HHH, it would also be No DQ. As Brad Maddox was about to head to the back, Director of Operations Kane confronted him and made him get back on the stage.

Match 1: WWE Champion Randy Orton defeated RAW General Manager Brad Maddox in a non-title No Disqualification match via KO when he mounted Maddox and repeatedly nailed him with a microphone.

They announced The Giant will face Ryback later tonight.

We got a video for We Were Us by Keith Urban featuring Miranda Lambert.

They announced Mick Foley, Bret Hart and Booker T will be on the Sports Desk panel for Survivor Series.

Brad Maddox was shown being wheeled out on a stretcher as a disturbed Vickie Guerrero looked on.

Match 2: Big E Langston - sporting new theme music (a jazzed up and re-jigged version of his old song) - defeated Curtis Axel (c) to capture the Intercontinental Championship with the Big Ending. It was obvious Langston was winning from the outset as they gave this the big sell (boxing style ring introductions, really hammering home the importance and lineage of the title). Crowd popped big for the conclusion.

Randy Orton was talking backstage with The Shield. He said per The Authority's orders, The Shield will have his back tonight. The Shield responded by asking if Orton has theirs. Orton nodded.

We got a video package for Cruise by Florida Georgia Line.

In a rotten segment that was designed intentionally to mock everyone participating in it, all the Divas, dressed in 'southern' attire, were in the ring for Divas' Musical Chairs. JBL said they've done a lot of dumb things on RAW but this was the dumbest. JBL begged for a commercial break as the whole thing ended in a horrible looking brawl.

We got a video for Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker. Yes, it sure is Country night all right...

Match 3: Big Show defeated Ryback with a Knock Out Punch. Surprisingly competitive match that saw Ryback get Big Show up for Shell Shock. Also featured some of the loudest calling of moves I've ever heard.

Hour 2

Following the match, Randy Orton tried to ambush Show from behind but was immedietly struck with a Spear, sending Orton bailing back to the outside. Show and Orton then had a stare down, as Orton held the WWE Championship aloft.

Florida Georgia Line were backstage talking to Zack Ryder when the Rhinestone Cowboys turned up (3MB). They asked Florida if they'll be able to follow their lead tonight. "We'll try" was the response to that.

Randy Orton was in the trainers room demanding ice. Orton was shouting at him asking where The Shield and The Authority were. They then muted the audio as Orton started swearing (seemed to be "God Damn"), before he threw his ice packs against the wall and demanded the trainer get the hell out of the room.

Real Americans vs. The Rhodes for the Tag Team Championship was announced for SmackDown on Friday.

Match 4: The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) defeated The Miz and Kofi Kingston when Swagger applied the Patriot Lock to Kofi Kingston. The Miz officially turned heel after jumping down from the ring apron and refusing a tag from Kofi.

Vickie Guerrero was backstage outside the trainers room. She knocked on the door and then 'fainted', as we headed to commercial.

They aired a video for Boys Round Here by Blake Shelton Pistol Annes and Friends.

Vickie was shown being wheeled out on a stretcher when Stephanie McMahon turned up and said Vickie obviously needed to go to the hospital. Vickie commically sat up slightly in the background and smiled, before laying back down on the stretcher. Stephanie then said she needed to go to the hospital...but only after she'd competed against AJ. Vickie then screamed her head off as the medical crew wheeled her out to the ring.

Match 5: Divas' Champion AJ Lee (w/Tamina Snuka) defeated Vickie Guerrero in a non-title bout. After a load of stalling, AJ applied the Black Widow for the victory. Vickie no-sold the move completely.

They announced a 7-on-7 Elimination Tag Team Divas' match for Survivor Series featuring the cast of Total Divas.

Triple H was in the RAW office with Dolph Ziggler and Damien Sandow. He announced they would face each other tonight in a "Broadway Brawl". Triple H said even he didn't know what that was, but just take it as an opportunity to "make some music together". The look on Ziggler's face was priceless.

There was a load of musical instruments set up in the ring.

Match 6: Dolph Ziggler defeated Damien Sandow in a Broadway Brawl (hardcore match basically). In what I think is probably a first, Dolph Ziggler went through a keyboard off the top rope. Ziggler won after hitting Sandow with a Drum and following it up with the patented Jeff Jarrett guitar shot to the head.

Randy Orton stormed into Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's office wanting to know what is going on with them, and whether this was their idea of some sort of sick joke. Orton asked them if they still have confidence in him as the face of the company. They told Orton that they're going to have to think about it.

John Cena was talking to Florida Georgia welcoming them to RAW, and apologised for 3MB earlier

They aired a video for Get Your Shine On by Florida Georgia. Yeah, wearing a bit thin now guys...

World Heavyweight Champion John Cena made his way out, with his recently surgically repaired arm in a sling. Mixed response from the crowd as usual. Cena said he needed that warm reception and thanked them. Apparently he's deaf. They replayed Del Rio's attack from RAW last Monday, and then again from SmackDown. He said he's had to rewatch that footage every single day (erm, why?). Crowd broke out into a mild "Cena" chant. And then booed. Cena said it was the fans that made him want to get back in the ring as fast as possible, but now he has his arm in a sling, it's crossed his mind that maybe he came back too soon. He's asked himself that maybe he shouldn't even be Champion. But then he looks around, feels the atmosphere, and realises he damn well deserves to be. In 6 days Del Rio doesn't know who he steps in the ring with. Cena said on Sunday he has the privilege of performing in front of his family at Survivor Series, and that after Sunday the Champ will still be here.

Hour 3

This brought out Del Rio, who was mockingly clapping what he sarcastically deemed to be an "amazing speech", and how we have a real life superhero in the house. Alberto said that while Cena seems to think he will hold the title up on Sunday, what about..right now? He asked John to hold up the belt with the arm he has in a sling. Del Rio told Cena that a real champion takes advantage of every opportunity and in this moment, he sees a great opportunity in front of him. John replied by saying he was right, a real champion does indeed take advantage of every opportunity. Cena then whipped off the sling and attacked Del Rio. As Cena got him up for the AA, Del Rio was able to escape over the top rope to the floor. Cena raised the title above his head as he celebrated in the ring.

The Rhinestone Cowboys made their way out. JBL said it's like Dolly Parton met with the West Texas Rednecks.

Match 7: R-Truth and Xavier Woods defeated The Rhinestone Cowboys when Woods nailed Drew with Lost in the Woods (Gail Kim's Eat Defeat)

Randy Orton was in the RAW office when Hunter and Steph walked in. They said they "absolutely have confidence" in Orton. Which is why at Survivor Series there will be no Shield, no interference and no help. If Orton has the confidence in himself, he'll beat Big Show. Orton vowed to show them confidence.

They aired the sights and sounds of the WrestleMania XXX Pre-Sale event from over the weekend.

In the doomed WCW musical interlude portion of the night, Florida Georgia performed Round Here Live.

They announced Michael Strahan will be the Guest Host on next week's RAW. Please God tell me this bullshit isn't coming back...

Main Event: Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, The Uso Brothers, Goldust and Cody Rhodes defeated The Shield and the Wyatt Family in 24:00 when CM Punk nailed Dean Ambrose with the Go To Sleep.

Over-run

The Real Americans ran in and Team Punk were outnumbered, until a returning Rey Mysterio made his triumphant return, promptly dispatching a number of people, and hitting a double 619 on Harper and Swagger. Punk then followed it up with a GTS on Harper, who then turned around straight into a Daniel Bryan Running Knee. Everyone celebrated to take RAW: Country off the air!

WWE RAW Results 25th November 2013 wrote:Image

Location: Nassau Coliseum; Uniondale, New York
Commentary: Michael Cole, John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Jerry "The King" Lawler

Hour 1

In Memory of Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon 1929 - 2013

One day removed from a less than stellar Survivor Series, WWE Monday Night RAW kicked off with WWE Champion Randy Orton making his way out to the ring. Orton said he was owed an apology from all of the cynics, doubters and "delusional WWE Universe" who actually believed he wasn't going to be on RAW tonight as WWE Champion. Orton then introduced The Authority, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, who came out hand-in-hand. Michael Cole mentioned on commentary that Stephanie had been in meetings all day in New York & had apparently tweeted a photo of herself taking a helicopter ride to the arena. Hunter said when he hand-picked Orton to be the future of the WWE 10 years ago, he knew he would be one of the greatest Superstars in history (Triple H has such a fantastic eye for talent, dontchaknow...). Stephanie then claimed they said the things they did to test Orton, to give him adversity, planting the seeds of doubt that would ultimately motivate him to victory. Orton, not remotely pleased, said in typical fashion they were making it all about themselves again. He reiterated that he didn't need their help last night. Triple H responded he was about to get beaten by Show when they came out. Crowd started chanting for Daniel Bryan. Orton said he was about to defeat Show no problem, and that he was the greatest champion in the 50 year history of the WWE. This brought out World Champion John Cena. Cena said that they should all be listening to the crowd as they're chanting for Daniel Bryan. He claimed the reason the crowd are chanting D Bryan and "YES!" is because they're bored of all the administrative BS. Cena said the way he looks at it, there are two champions in the ring right now, so how about they cut through the BS and have only the 1 Champion. Orton told Hunter to not even consider it. Cena interjected and said this had nothing to do with The Authority, rather this was something 11 years in the making. John challenged Randy to unify the belts right here tonight on RAW. Stephanie took the microphone and said this was actually something she and Triple H had been considering for some time now. Randy then jumped back in saying that he knew there was something up when he saw all 3 of them chatting last night. Triple H told Orton to "grow up", and that just a few minutes ago Randy was being all confident and cocky. Hunter decided that they were going to do something epic. In 3 weeks at TLC they're going to hang both titles above the ring in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. They were rather vague, no doubt intentionally so, as to the actual stipulations. Both titles appear to be on the line individually rather than as a Unification bout. Reminds me of Starrcade 1996 when WCW swerved everyone by making out Rowdy Piper had defeated Hulk Hogan for the Championship, when in fact it wasn't even on the line to begin with.

They announced The Shield will take on Cody Rhodes, Goldust and Rey Mysterio next, while Daniel Bryan and CM Punk will face all 3 members of the Wyatt Family in a Handicap match.

Match 1: The Shield defeated Cody Rhodes, Goldust and Rey Mysterio when Dean Ambrose pinned Cody Rhodes. Reigns got two big Spears in on Goldust and Rey Mysterio leading to the finish.

Michael Strahan is the Special Guest Host tonight. Yes, the Guest Host gimmick is back again.

They announced Dolph Ziggler would face Damien Sandow in a rematch from last week's RAW, with fans choosing the match type on the WWE App. The options were Strong Island Street Fight, A Long Island Lumberjack match, or a Hamptons Hardcore match.

Monumental banana split bucket Miz was in the ring for MizTV. Crowd didn't care. After giving him the big sell, he introduced Michael Strahan. Titus O Neal came out instead with a black middle tooth. Apparently this was supposed to be a gap. Titus was pretending to be Michael Strahan. In the end he actually came out. He announced in a "Double Team Tag Team main event" WWE Champion Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio will take on World Heavyweight Champion John Cena and Big Show tonight. Crowd started chanting "Kelly Ripa". Both Miz and Titus tried to hip toss him, but failed. Michael Strahan then hip tossed them instead. They then all celebrated in the ring because this was all just a bit of fun, innit. Was one of those horrible segments that was not only horrible, but went on for HOURS and only appealed to NFL fans and the city they were in at the expense of the rest of the world.

Match 2: In what was basically a squash match, Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston and Mark Henry defeated Ryback and Curtis Axel when Mark Henry nailed Axel with the World's Strongest Slam.

I can't be sure, but Linda McMahon - or someone that looks a lot like her - appears to be sitting at ringside on the hard camera side.

They announced the 7 on 7 Divas Elimination tag team match from last night's Survivor Series would take place again, next. I hate this show and there's still two hours left. strawberry float you all.

They recapped the opening segment.

Hour 2

Match 3: Team Total Divas defeated AJ Lee, Aksana, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae, Rosa Mendes, Kaitlyn and Tamina Snuka when Nikki Bella put the Torture Rack on Summer Rae. Aksana's tits nearly fell out, but didn't. The match went 10 minutes and was diabolical. Best bit was Lawler producing the line of the night: "that was the best rack I've ever seen".

They aired a video package of Dolph Ziggler taking on Damien Sandow from last week, coupled with filter and country music. This felt like something from WCW's Spring Stampede.

Jerry Lawler was about to announce the winner of the App voting when Sandow snatched the microphone. He said he shouldn't be forced to compete in these type of conditions. Hamptons Hardcore won with 37% of the vote. They loaded the ring with various 'posh weapons' such as tennis rackets and golf clubs.

Match 4: Damien Sandow pinned Dolph Ziggler in the Hamptons Hardcore when Sandow planted Ziggler through a trash can. The crowd weren't interested in the match at all, instead opting to chant "Randy Savage" and "Hogan" at two fans dressed up as both men. Security came over and said something to both, which then had the crowd booing security.

They plugged TV movie Christmas Bounty, which has the Miz in it.

Santino was backstage with Michael Strahan when Erick Rowan, wearing his mask, turned up. Santino buggered off, and Rowan handed Strahan a sheep's mask, which he then put on. They looked at each other for a while, and then Rowan left. Santino came back and they did more 'comedy' about sticking the mask on a turkey and cooking it for 5 hours, throwing the turkey away and eating the mask. Crowd were still audibly chanting for Savage and Hogan.

Renee Young was in the ring to interview CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. Punk asked the crowd if they survived last night, and whether the deck was stacked even more so tonight. Bryan shouted "YES!". Punk had a pop at The Authority constantly sticking everyone in Handicap matches. "Very Creative". Punk got a Colt Cabana name check in there, probably going into business for himself again. Bryan asked what time it was. "Clobbering time" was the response.

Match 5: CM Punk and Daniel Bryan defeated The Wyatt Family in a 3-2 Handicap match by Disqualification when all 3 members of the Wyatt Family got in the ring and triple teamed Bryan and Punk, leading to the referee calling for the bell. Luke Harper nailed Punk with a Clothesline, which the cameras completely missed. The Wyatt's then picked up Daniel Bryan and Eric Rowan carried him backstage. As CM Punk came to and was about to make his way to the back to help, Roman Reigns appeared from out of nowhere and Speared Punk on the outside.

Hour 3

The Shield then chucked Punk back into the ring and gave him a Triple Power Bomb.

Miz was backstage watching himself in his movie when his female co-star turned up. They had a bit of banter and said goodbye. It was riveting.

Match 6: The creative bankruptcy continued, as The Miz`pinned`Kofi Kingstoner.

Mick Foley, Dude Love and Mankind shilled a load of WWE Shop merchandise. This was easily the best thing on the entire show.

Jerry Lawler interviewed someone by the name of Charlie Tebele in the front row. Apparently he donated a massive amount for Hurricane Sandy. Lawler asked this guy what his ring name would be. He said the "Kosher Butcher" and produced a T-Shirt he'd had made. Lawler then asked what his finishing manoeuvre would be. He responded by saying it would be "The Circumcision". And that promptly ended the interview.

R-Truth introduced Xavier Woods and the Funkadactyls. They all came out dancing.

Match 7: Xavier Woods beat Heath Slater (w/3MB) with Lost in the Woods. Crowd chanted something, possibly insider, that I couldn't make out.

Bella's were in the RAW office getting their balls autographed from Michael. They left and the Funkadactyls walked in and wanted their balls signed too. Eva Marie walked in and told him to watch her on Total Divas. Goldust then turned up in a wig and did his thing.

John Cena was backstage talking with Michael the NFL guy. They exchanged pleasantries.

Main Event: World Heavyweight Champion John Cena and Big Show defeated WWE Champion Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio. John Cena tapped out Del Rio with the STF. During the match, the doctor got into the ring to check on Big Show, who in storyline was suffering the effects of various kicks to the head.

Over-run

After the match Alberto Del Rio jumped Cena from behind, but Cena regained the upper hand and hit him with the AA. Orton then ran in and waffled Cena with the WWE Championship. Orton then grabbed the World Title and held both aloft over a fallen Cena to take RAW off the air.

It's been a long night.

RAW Results December 2nd 2013 wrote:Image

Location: Oklahoma City
Commentary: Michael Cole, John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Jerry "The King" Lawler

Hour 1

Monday Night RAW opened with CM Punk coming out, dressed as if he was just popping out to the newsagent. He said he's been trying to figure out why The Shield attacked him last week, but now he realises why; he made the cardinal sin of criticizing Triple H with some throwaway comment about him lacking creativity. Punk said he hopes it was just a coincidence however, as he doesn't want to get involved with The Authority and is quite happy to be 'living in his own WWE Universe'. Punk claimed that the "King of Kings" wasn't that dense to pick a fight with someone who prides himself on being one of the biggest anti-authority figures in WWE history. And if in fact they do, then that makes The Authority the biggest group of stupid, ignorant douchebags he's ever come across. This brought out Stephanie McMahon. She said Punk has it all wrong because they're all about free speech, and to think they ordered the attack just because he called Hunter a bad name is something out of kids school. She said that if Punk had any more concerns, then he can express them directly to the Director of Operations. Kane walked out onto the stage. Kane, in this most boring and dry way possible, told Punk he is here to make sure that WWE runs smoothly, and that after investigating Punk’s accusations, the findings support Stephanie’s claims that they did nothing wrong and the Authority is in the clear. Punk asked when Kane become the "Big Red Ass Kisser". Kane told Punk he doesn't want to go down this path. Punk responded by telling Kane to come to the ring so he can get knocked out. Kane was about to start walking, but Stephanie stepped in. The Shield's music then hit and they made their way through the crowd, as Punk grabbed a steel chair. Before The Shield could get in the ring, Stephanie ordered them to step down, as Punk was someone to be respected and admired. She then left, leaving Kane to announce that CM Punk would face all three members of The Shield in a Handicap match at WWE: TLC.

Michael Cole read out a statement from The Authority guaranteeing that there would be one champion crowned at TLC.

They then announced voting on the WWE App had begun for the fans to decide what the Championship will be called following TLC. The options being Unified Champion, Undisputed WWE Champion, or Undisputed World Champion.

The Slammy Awards return next week.

Damien Sandow cut a quick promo vowing victory against Ziggler tonight, and then Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston at TLC. Langston was on commentary.

Match 1: In a Number 1 Contender's match for the Intercontinental Championship, Damien Sandow pinned Dolph Ziggler off his finisher at 4:00.

Michael Cole reiterated once again that at TLC the belt would be "Undisputed/Unified", as they put up a graphic comparing Randy Orton and John Cena's accolades. After last week's vague fiasco, they're really hammering it home tonight.

Match 2: The Bella Twins and Natalya defeated WWE Divas' Champion AJ Lee, Tamina and Summer Rae when Natalya rolled up AJ Lee. AJ spent about 90% of the match skipping around the ring. After the loss, AJ just shrugged, grabbed the title and skipped off.

Daniel Bryan vs. Erik Rowan was made for later tonight.

In what is obviously going to be a recurring segment, Wade "Bad News Barrett" was at a podium beside the announce table. He said he had good news, and he had bad news. The good news being they are Live on Monday Night RAW. The bad news is that they were in Oklahoma City. An arena filled with hillbillies and overweight miscreants, who had to name their city after their state just so they could remember it. Cole almost cracked up in the background. A "BAD NEWS BARRETT" red stamp graphic was then slapped on the screen.

Randy Orton was backstage with RAW General Manager Brad Maddox. Orton said that he was sorry that he wasn’t very sympathetic about Brad's prior injuries. Orton then demanded Maddox go tell The Authority that they need to recognize him as the greatest star of all time, who is bigger than both John Cena and the WWE. "You tell them" he ordered, as Brad stood there looking concerned.

They plugged Daniel Bryan on The Steve Austin Show.

Match 3: Daniel Bryan defeated Erik Rowan (w/The Wyatt Family) with a roll up. At one point Rowan threw Bryan into the guardrail and a fan dropped their phone on the ringside floor.

Hour 2

Image

After the match, as Bryan was celebrating in the aisle, the lights went out in the arena and Bray Wyatt appeared on the TitanTron. He ordered Rowan and Harper to stand down. Bray said he initially viewed Daniel Bryan wrongly, as he thought he was a minuscule creature chasing an unattainable goal, but now he sees the monster inside Bryan, and that "they" can't love Bryan the way he can. Bray told Brian that they could be the force to bring the machine to its knees, if only he open his eyes.

Bryan stumbled into Kane backstage. Kane said he now has more important things to be doing than be Bryan's tag partner. As Bryan is good friends with CM Punk, Kane said it was therefore only fair that he also compete in a Handicap match at TLC, in this case against the Wyatt Family. Kane then mockingly started chanting "yes" as he strolled off.

They recapped the altercation Brodus and Xavier Woods had on SmackDown.

Match 4: R-Truth and Xavier Woods beat Brodus Clay and Sweet T (w/The Funkadactyls) when Woods pinned Clay with...a delayed ROLL UP. I say delayed as Clay was too fat to get over. You know things are really bad when they book the same 3 finishes in a row.

Big Show and The Rhodes' vs. The Shield was announced for later.

Having dug up Sin Cara from the depths of hell, Alberto Del Rio came out and said after beating him he was going to call immigration to have Sin Cara sent back to Mexico.

Match 5: Sin Cara pinned Alberto Del Rio with a Rolling Senton at 5:00.

They aired a video of Randy Orton punting John Cena's Dad in the head on an episode of RAW from 2007.

AJ Lee vs. Natalya for the Divas' Championship has been added to the PPV.

Renee Young interviewed World Champion John Cena backstage. Cena said back in the old days, arguments used to ensue over who the real Champion was. Cena, while doing a Ric Flair impersonation, noted how if you were in the South, it was the World Title. And if you were in the North, BROTHER, it was the WWE Title. As there is now only the WWE, the fans deserve one unified champion.

The Shield were together in a darkened locker room backstage. They said CM Punk couldn't beat any one of them individually, let alone all three at TLC.

Match 6: In your usual enjoyable multi-person tag match, The Shield defeated WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Goldust and Big Show when Rollins pinned Goldust WITH A ROLL UP after Goldust hit a Superplex on Ambrose. Either they're just totally incompetent, or this is some sort of inside joke.

Hour 3

They aired a video of John Cena defeating Randy Orton in an I Quit match at Breaking Point 2009.

Renee Young interviewed CM Punk backstage. Punk laughed, and said he's like a kid in a candy store. He claimed he was overjoyed. Punk then broke into song, with "I feel pretty, oh so pretty...". Punk then got serious, saying he knows he's going down at TLC, but the question is how many of The Shield are going down with him.

Bad News Barrett was back at ringside. He said he unfortunately had some more bad news. Last Thursday Americans celebrated Thanksgiving, where they ate so much they now sweat and are all constipated. Crowd gave him the "What" treatment.

Miz and Kofi Kingston shook hands backstage, as the commentators said they had managed to put their differences aside and were going to have another shot at being a team.

Match 7: Ryback and Curtis Axel defeated Kofi Kingston and The Miz after Ryback got Kingston up for the Shellshock. After the match, Miz helped up Kofi only to then slap him in the face.

Match 8: Mark Henry pinned Fandango (w/Summer Rae) with the World's Strongest Slam. During the bout, Henry did a little dance in front of Summer Rae, which led to some of the crowd breaking out into a "Sexual Chocolate" chant, garnering a little smile from Henry.

We got a video package on Titus O'Neil being sick from SmackDown. No, they really re-aired this again.

CM Punk vs. 1 member of The Shield was billed for SmackDown on Friday.

Zeb Colter cut a promo saying Prime Time Players (PTP) now stands for Prime Time Pukers.

Main Event: The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) defeated The Prime Time Players after Antonio Cesaro nailed Darren Young with an Upper Cut. After the match, Titus teased being sick again.

Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, who was looking at the contract, were shown backstage heading towards the ring.

Jerry Lawler revealed to the Live crowd that 38% had chosen "Unified Champion", with the other two tied at 31%.

Tables, Ladders, and Chairs were set-up in and around ringside, as The Authority made their way out. Cole once again said they were guaranteeing one champion at TLC. Triple H said for the first time both titles will be hanging above the ring, with the winner walking out as the champion. Stephanie said they guarantee it. She then introduced WWE Champion Randy Orton, followed by World Champion John Cena.

Over-run

Stephanie grinned and sarcastically said she received Orton's message to Maddox earlier. Hunter reeled off a load of names that have held the WWE Title. Hogan got no reaction, compared to Steve Austin and The Rock. Triple H then mentioned the greats that have held the World Title, leaving out everyone from 90s WCW with the exception of Flair. Hunter said this wasn't a match they just booked on the spur of the moment (could have fooled me). At one point, Orton was sitting in his chair and looked asleep. Orton signed first, follow by John Cena. Stephanie said with the formalities out of the way, they now had a chance to speak their mind. Orton said Hunter was right, some of the biggest names have held the titles, but the fact is he's better than them all, including Triple H. But that's why The Authority chose him. Orton said they all have something in common, along with the crowd, and that's that nobody likes John Cena. Cena fired back that Orton's speaking like they've never met before. Orton then reminded Cena he booted his dad in the head. Cena told Orton just to shut up, as he sounded ridiculous. Cena reminded Orton that Triple H chose him all those years ago and he never lived up to his potential. But he doesn't blame Hunter, as Orton is the most gifted WWE star ever, but he got cocky and lazy. Hunter gave him all these Hall of Famers to teach him, and instead he let a scruffy guy in a baseball cap and t-shirt take his place. Cena told Orton to think in one hand, and take a crap in the other and see what fills up first. Cena said that if he gets anything from him, he'll have earnt it at TLC. And right now, he's pushing his buttons, so he can either leave or make a move. Kinky. Orton tried to get the jump on Cena by launching the table up in the air, but Cena avoided and both men got into a brawl in and around ringside, using the various hardware set up. After numerous chair and ladder shots, both men found themselves back in the ring. Cena sent Orton crashing through a table in the corner, finally putting Orton through a second table with an FU. As Cena raised both Championships in the air, The Authority looked on from the stage to close out the 15 minute over-run and end RAW.

WWE RAW: Slammy Awards December 9 2013 Results wrote:Image

Location: Key Arena; Seattle, Washington
Commentary: Michael Cole and John "Bradshaw" Layfield.

Hour 1

Thank God these Slammy Awards are only once a year. Just imagine sitting through these 3 hour RAW's every week...

Proceedings got under way with Michael Cole telling us how to download the WWE App from the Apple App and Google Play Stores.

Match 1: Home town hero Daniel Bryan defeated Fandango with a Running Knee in one of the best opening matches on a RAW in recent memory, helped by an extremely hot crowd.

After the match, the lights went out and Bray Wyatt appeared on the Tron. Bray said he was losing patience with Daniel Bryan failing to make a decision in regards to joining them. Bray said at TLC they will hurt him, and there is no such thing as a happy ending. He once again asked Bryan to join the group. When the lights in the building came back up, Bryan was leading a chant of "No!" with the crowd.

Booker T and Jerry Lawler were announced as the Slammy hosts for the evening. Booker T introduced The New Age Outlaws for "LOL!" Moment of the Year , who came out in Dumb and Dumber inspired, garishly coloured, dinner jackets/tuxedos. Someone has been watching Bad Influence on IMPACT WRESTLING. The crowd broke out into a loud "One More Match!" chant. Billy Gunn did the "got two words for ya" routine, which led to Road Dogg quickly covering Gunn's mouth (presumably because this is PG). Didn't stop the crowd responding with "Suck it". The nominees were Vickie Guerrero getting fired as General Manager of RAW by Stephanie McMahon; Titus O'Neil throwing up on JBL & Michael Cole; The Great Khali and Jinder Mahal trying to charm Santino's Cobra puppet; and The Rock Concert at RAW 20th Anniversary.

Santino Marella made his way out, as we headed to commercial break.

The Outlaws announced The Rock Concert as the winner. The Rock's theme music played, only for Vickie Guererro to come out. She accepted the award on behalf of The Rock, saying instead that it represented her beauty.

Match 2: Damien Sandow pinned Santino off the You're Welcome.

The Shield came out suited and booted to reveal the winner of the Double-Cross of the Year Slammy. Dean Ambrose said that he knows he looks great wearing the suit. He mentioned that they'd already won 2 awards on the Slammy Pre-show. More mild tension teased as Ambrose interrupted Roman Reigns from finishing his sentence. The nominees were Triple H costing Daniel Bryan the WWE Championship at SummerSlam; Shawn Michaels Superkicking Daniel Bryan at Hell in a Cell; Mark Henry's "retirement speech"; and Paul Heyman costing CM Punk the Money in the Bank Contract at Money in the Bank

Kofi Kingston made his way out.

A graphic and sultry female voice welcomed us back to the "2012 Slammy Awards". Yes, 2012.

Shawn Michaels walked out in a tux to accept the award. Michaels said he has a lot on his mind, but he's been told he can't talk too long. He said he's been fortunate to win a lot of these awards over the years, just never this one. HBK joked that he's double-crossed a lot of people in 25 years, yet somehow it took four years after retirement to win. A few in the crowd started chanting "you sold out". He turned to someone in the crowd, calling him a pinhead as he had sold out years ago, which is the reason he's still here.

Match 3: The Miz defeated Kofi Kingston with a roll-up and a handful of tights. After the match, Kofi nailed Miz with Trouble in Paradise.

Eve Torres came out to no reaction to introduce the Diva of the Year Slammy. Nominees being The Bella Twins, The Funkadactyls, Kaitlyn, Natalya, Eva Marie & AJ Lee.

Rey Mysterio made his entrance for 8 man tag action, as we once again headed to break.

A "Championship Ascension Ceremony" was announced for later tonight. Apparently 20 former champions will surround the ring as they raise both belts above the ring. This was being billed by the announcers as the last time both championships will ever be seen together on RAW.

Eve revealed the winners as The Bella Twins, to vociferous booing from the Live crowd. The Bella's thanked the fans for their love, as the crowd continued to boo them out of the building. Genuine hatred here. Their music then started playing as they were in mid sentence, proclaiming that 2014 will also be the year of The Bellas.

Hour 2

Match 4: Rey Mysterio, Big Show and Tag Team Champions Goldust and Cody Rhodes defeated Ryback, Curtis Axel and The Real Americans when Rey Mysterio nailed Axel with a 619 and then 'dropped the dime' with a Splash off the top. Crowd naturally started chanting "Goldberg" at the bell.

Cole once again told us how to download the WWE App.

Booker T and Jerry Lawler were back out to re-introduce Shawn Michaels for Superstar of the Year . Michaels said this was for the A+ player in WWE. This caused the crowd to start chanting "Yes!". Michaels said maybe it's worth considering that, rather than superstar of the year, it should be renamed the "H-B-Shizzle" Slammy. Nominees named as Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Big Show, & John Cena.

Sin Cara made his entrance, as RAW headed back to break.

Shawn Michaels revealed Daniel Bryan had won Superstar of the Year. Bryan came out and both Michaels and Bryan held onto the Slammy and starred each other down. Michaels finally relinquished the award and exited stage left. Bryan thanked Shawn for the "H-B-Shizzle" award. He said if it were not for Shawn, he most likely wouldn't be in WWE, but at the same time if it were not for Shawn at Hell in a Cell, he would be WWE champion right now. Bryan said he's not angry about it though, because The Authority doesn't want him as Superstar of the Year, but the people voted him as such anyway. Bryan said if you thought 2013 was good, 2014 will be even better. He then said he had one final thing to say; "Go Seahawks", to a big pop from the Washington crowd.

Alberto Del Rio cut an inset promo in Spanish.

Match 5: Sin Cara pinned Alberto Del Rio off a Swanton Bomb.

The Prime Time Pukers came out to to announce the winner of the Fan Participation of the Year Slammy. Nominees being Fandango-ing, The Yes! chant, Let's go Cena/Cena sucks!, and R-Truth's What's Up?

Fandango vs. Dolph Ziggler was made for TLC Kickoff on Sunday. Booker T, Miz and Mick Foley are going to be on the Sports desk.

The Prime Time Players announced Daniel Bryan had won again. Bryan said he was at a loss as to what to say, so there was only one thing left to say, and that's "Yes! Yes! Yes!". Crowd chanted along.

Match 6: Brodus Clay (w/Sweet T and The Funkers) beat Xavier Woods (w/R-Truth) in a 1 minute squash. After the match, Clay hit Woods with repeated elbow drops and a Splash, as Sweet T attempted to hold Clay back. Truth ran into the ring and put a boot to Clay, as everyone looked on wondering what Clay was playing at.

Miz came out for Insult of the Year. AJ Lee shoots on the the "Total Divas" cast; Zeb Colter promos; Paul Heyman disowns his best friend CM Punk; and Stephanie McMahon degrades Big Show on RAW.

CM Punk made his entrance.

Miz announced Stephanie as the winner. She came out with a huge grin on her face. Stephanie said what some people consider an insult, she considers a huge complement, and thanked the fans for finally recognising what is "best for business". Crowd, unimpressed, booed.

Hour 3

Match 7: In a rematch from Friday Night ShatDown, CM Punk pinned Dean Ambrose (w/The Shield) using the GTS. During the closing moments, Ambrose tossed Punk to the outside and The Shield circled but didn't attack, which led to Ambrose going to the outside and getting into a confrontation with his partners asking why they didn't take advantage behind the referee's back. After the match, The Shield ran back into the ring, with Reigns landing a Spear on Punk. The Shield then helped Ambrose through the crowd.

They aired a video package, which originally aired on SmackDown, hyping the importance of the World and WWE Championships.

Booker T and Jerry Lawler introduced Mick Foley, presenting the Extreme Moment of the Year award. Crowd chanted "Foley". JBL on commentary joked Foley's suit was clearly a rental. Cole cracked up. Foley said the bar had been raised this year with Extreme moments. The nominees being, The Shield Triple Powerbombing Undertaker through a table on SmackDown; Ryback spearing John Cena through the LED stage at Extreme Rules; CM Punk beating up Paul Heyman at Hell in a Cell; & The Wyatt family crushing Kane's head at SummerSlam with steel stairs.

The Uso's came out for action.

Mick Foley revealed the Extreme Slammy had gone to CM Punk gaining revenge on Paul Heyman. Punk said it felt slightly strange accepting any award not wearing pants. Punk thanked the fans, before saying that if we thought what he did to Heyman was extreme, tune into TLC to see what he does to the Wyatt's.

Match 8: The Wyatt Family defeated The Uso brothers after Luke Harper nailed his Clothesline for the pin.

Interesting aside, there hasn't been a backstage segment all night. This has to be a first since a WCW show, surely.

Booker and Lawler introduced Bret Hart to announce the nominees for the final Slammy of the night, Match of the Year . The Undertaker vs. CM Punk at WrestleMania 29; Cody Rhodes & Goldust (w/Dusty Rhodes) vs. Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns; Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar in a Steel Cage Match at Extreme Rules and The Rock vs. John Cena also at WrestleMania 29.

Natayla made her entrance, hugging Bret on the way down to the ring.

Back from commercial, Bret revealed the fans on the App had voted for John Cena vs. The Rock. WWE Champion John Cena came out, as the crowd gave him the Bella treatment. Cena said Rock was one of the best opponents he has ever faced, & thanked everyone that voted.

Main Event: Natalya tapped out Tamina (w/Divas' Champion AJ Lee) with the Sharpshooter.

King of Kings filled the Key Arena, signalling the arrival of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon - Stephanie still sporting a satanic looking grin.

They trailed the season finale of Total Divas, with Daniel Bryan proposing to Brie Bella and Natalya apparently drunk calling Stephanie McMahon in the middle of the night.

20 World Champions were standing in the ring, including Khali, Christian, Bryan, Booker T, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Mark Henry, Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Mick Foley and others. Stephanie said the pinnacle of that illustrious list of champions was her husband, 13 time champion Triple H. CM Punk was shown laughing, and then face-palming, in the background. Triple H thanked his wife and all the great champions standing in the ring, as they know the hard work and sacrifices it takes.

Over-run

Triple H said everyone in the ring have etched their place in history in a way only winning a championship can. Crowd broke out into an extremely loud "Daniel Bryan" chant, drowning out everything Triple H was saying. This had Bryan smiling from ear to ear. It was so loud Triple H had to stop talking. Michaels motioned to keep the noise down. Cole mentioned that Triple H must be seething. Wouldn't be surprised if he legitimately is. Triple H turned to Bryan and said 'that's a lot of family Daniel for one building', which he then followed up by saying he should have known, as they all look a lot like Bryan. Triple H then got the dreaded "What" treatment. Triple H reiterated there will only be one champion after TLC. He introduced WWE Champion Randy Orton. Stephanie then introduced John Cena. Triple H asked them both to hand over their titles, as for one of them it would be the last time they will be known as champion. Crowd responded to all this by chanting "Daniel Bryan" again. Orton said that years ago Cena claimed to have "Ruthless Aggression", but if he had it then he certainly doesn't have it now, as if he did he would have put him in the hospital and he didn't. Crowd, sinking the segment, decided to tell Orton he was "BORING". Orton, rambling on, was greeted with a "Yes!" chant. He said he took years off Mick Foley's career, and embarrassed Shawn Michaels on multiple occasions. Shawn Michaels sarcastically waved from behind Hunter. Cena took the microphone and said he couldn't help but notice Orton mentioned "work" in his promo. Cena went over to Daniel Bryan and asked him to introduce himself. Cena asked if anyone in his family is a WWE Hall of Famer. Bryan responded by saying no, his Dad is a "log scaler". JBL on commentary just went "What?!". Cena told Orton that the reason why they chant and cheer for Bryan is because he worked for it. Cena said all Orton does is blame everyone else for his problems. Cena noted Orton has behavioural problems in and outside of the ring. Cena said every time he holds either title, his business card still reads the same thing, "Want some? Come get some." Cena claimed he was the only one who gave Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk a chance with title shots when no one else thought it was a good idea. He said the only legit title shot Bryan has ever received was against him, and Bryan won. Cena said that if he wins on Sunday, he's going to give Bryan a fair rematch. Cena wished Orton good luck on Sunday, as he was going to need it. The two men shook hands, as the title belts began to raise above them. Randy Orton then struck Cena with a cheap shot, and both men got into it on the floor, before everyone piled in to break it up. CM Punk went over to Orton's corner and attempted to get Orton to calm down, but Orton face-palmed him away. This led to Punk then attacking Orton. Triple H strolled on over and chucked Punk away, which then directly led to Punk punching Triple H in the face, which in turn was followed up by Sweet Chin Music to Punk by Michaels. As Shawn turned around, he walked straight into a Daniel Bryan Running Knee. Orton was about to nail Bryan with an RKO, but Bryan shoved him away and Orton ran straight into Stephanie McMahon, knocking her down. Triple H quickly scurried over to Stephanie, turning his attention to Randy Orton, who he then planted with a Pedigree! John Cena, Kane and Triple H went and helped up a dazed Stephanie, as the crowd all continued chanting for Daniel Bryan. King of Kings played over the sound system, as Triple H, Stephanie, Kane and John Cena all stood together, looking on at a shocked Randy Orton to take RAW off the air.

Hour 1

Less than 24 hours removed from WWE TLC, Monday Night RAW kicked off with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton's "Champion of Champions" Coronation ceremony. The "entire roster" were on the stage, with the black carpet out in the ring. Triple H and Stephanie introduced Randy Orton. Despite saying last week that it would be the final time we all saw the WWE and World titles on RAW, Orton came out with both championship draped over his shoulders anyway. Orton said it's a nice feeling when your faith is rewarded. He chastised the audience for having no faith in him to begin with, instead opting to buy into the falsehood that he's simply been handed everything. Orton turned his attention to the roster on the stage, saying that he is much better than all of them. As Orton continued to go on, John Cena interrupted by calling Orton an idiot. Orton demanded Cena's microphone be cut off. Cena mockingly gave the Cliff's Notes version of Orton's speal: 'greatest ever, Viper, Viper, Viper, handcuffs - that was creative, - greatest ever'. Cena then thanked himself for saving everyone having to listen to Orton's promo drone on for another 20 minutes. Cena did however congratulate Orton on his victory at TLC, before turning his attention to something "Stone Cold" Steve Austin used to say, which garnered a pop from the crowd. Cena told Orton that you have to carry yourself as a champion every single night, and Orton should either put up or shut up tonight. Orton said he wasn't buying into Cena's attempt to goad him into a rematch. John said he wasn't talking about himself. Cena reminded everyone that last week he told someone they'd get a fair rematch if he won the title. John says that tonight Randy should face Daniel Bryan. Randy fired back that he doesn't care what people think and he wants security to come down and throw Cena out of the building. Randy continued that he doesn't have to listen to John Cena, Daniel Bryan, or all the idiots in the stands. In fact he doesn't have to listen to anybody. Stephanie stepped in, saying that he has to listen to them. Randy said he wasn't trying to lose his temper, but to give Bryan a title match tonight would not be "Best for Business". Stephanie and Hunter had a discussion in the corner, leading to Triple H saying that he agrees with Orton that Daniel doesn't deserve an opportunity for a title match. Stephanie butted in, saying Daniel Bryan was voted Superstar of the Year. Hunter said they do listen to the WWE Universe, therefore if that is a match everyone wants to see, then that's exactly what everyone is going to get. Hunter announced WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton would go one-on-one with the Superstar of the Year, Daniel Bryan, as he couldn't think of a better way to kick off the new era than with a main event like this. Bryan then led the crowd in chanting "Yes!". The verbiage here was a blatant bait-and-switch in getting everyone, particularly the live crowd, to think that it's a championship bout, even though on the basis of their 'clever' wording it's not.

Michael Cole revealed that earlier tonight fans had been voting on who Cody Rhodes and Goldust should face tonight - the options being Ryback and Curtis Axel, Big Show and Rey Mysterio, or The Real Americans. The result would be revealed next.

Back from commercial, The Rhodes' were both in the ring waiting the result of the vote; it turned out to be Rey Mysterio and Big Show.

Match 1: Rey Mysterio and Big Show defeated Cody Rhodes and Goldust when Big Show clobbered Goldust with the KO punch, and Rey Mysterio followed it up with a Splash off Show's shoulders. During the match, Cole, Bradshaw and Lawler took a "selfie", playing off the whole David Cameron and President Obama controversy at Mandela's memorial service.

Cole directed us all to download the WWE App again, while revealing we could vote on who we wanted CM Punk to team with to face The Shield later tonight. The options being The Usos, Los Matadores and The Prime Time Players.

Bad News Barrett was back out at his podium. He asked the crowd for some decorum. Barrett said that half a billion dollars was at stake in the upcoming lottery, but unfortunately the bad news was nobody in the building was going to win it, so they'd all have to go back to their ramshackle homes and miserable, lowly lifestyles. "Happy holidays".

The commentators said that an Autographed Slammy Award was available to bid on over at WWEAuction.com

Kane, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H were all talking in the RAW office when Randy Orton stormed in asking if this was some sort of joke. He questioned what kind of reward this was supposed to be after winning the biggest match in his life? Stephanie reminded him that last night Daniel Bryan was decimated at the hands of the Wyatt family. She said they valued him not only as the face of the company, and as their champion, but as a friend too. She said as the first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion comes great responsibility, with double the work and competition. Triple H said he can't just tell people he's champion, every single night he has to show them why. He told Orton not to worry, as they had his back. Orton then stormed back out again, slamming the door in the process.

Match 2: In a rematch from TLC Kick-off, Dolph Ziggler rolled up Fandango (w/Summer Rae) for the victory.

Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston and Mark Henry were shown walking backstage on their way to the ring.

Hour 2

Match 3: In a long 15 minute encounter, Big E Langston and Mark Henry defeated The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) after Big E hit the Big Ending on Antonio Cesaro for the pin.

A skit aired with Damien Sandow dressed as Santa, with AJ Lee and Tamina. A graphic showed Sandow as "bad santa" and Mark Henry as "good santa", with next week's Christmas RAW billed as "The Battle of Christmas". Looks like this is going to be in the same vein as last year's comedy episode in which Mick Foley was run over by Alberto Del Rio's car.

Xavier Woods and R-Truth were on commentary.

Match 4: Ryback and Curtis Axel defeated Tons of Funk (w/The Funkadactyls) when Ryback got Sweet T up for Shellshocked after Brodus Clay refused a tag. After the match, Brodus officially turned heel and Splashed T twice. Xavier Woods and R-Truth ran in to make the save, drop-kicking Brodus out of the ring.

Xavier and R-Truth said the Funkadactyls hadn't had a hell of a lot to dance about recently, before inviting them both into the ring to dance with them instead. Brodus Clay fumed on the ramp.

CM Punk was shown heading towards the ring.

Cult of Personality filled the arena, signalling the arrival of professional womaniser CM Punk. CM Punk said he wasn't much of a Christmas guy, and doesn't believe in miracles, but last night he managed to defeat The Shield. Crowd broke out into a loud "CM Punk" chant, as he retorted that he'd let the crowd have that one. Punk said however this was less about The Shield, more about the Authority sending them after him. Punk said he doesn't do well when people attempt to manage him. He joked what Triple H was going to do next, stick him in a 16 on 1 handicap match? As they're both adults, Punk requested Triple H come down to the ring right now and they can thrash this out as men, unless he was afraid of what Punk can do on a microphone. Triple H was nowhere to be found. Punk asked the crowd if he should give Hunter a few more seconds. Rather than Triple H however, none other than Shawn Michaels interrupted. The commentators mocked Michaels' dress sense, saying he was up for a Gold Moose award. Michaels said he understands CM Punk's obsession with the Authority. Crowd started chanting "you sold out". When they stopped, Michaels laughed that they couldn't keep it up. "You blew up, shut your pie holes", much to the amusement of the commentators. Shawn Michaels said Punk should be more concerned with the Superkick from the conclusion of RAW last week. Michaels then appeared to completely forget his lines, as they both just awkwardly stood there. Attempting to salvage the botch, Punk said his teenage self would have liked getting kicked in the face by Shawn Michaels, but kick him again, he's going to kick back. Crowd started chanting "One more match", which led to Punk jokingly interpreting it as if they were chanting it towards him, therefore replying that he thinks he has more than one more match left him in. Shawn responded that he always liked Punk, so what he did last week pained him more than it pained Punk. But what he was about to do would pain Punk even more. Shawn Michaels then introduced The Shield, as we crashed to break.

Jerry Lawler revealed to the Live crowd fans had voted 57% in favour of The Usos on the App, with 27% going to the Matadores.

Match 5: The Shield defeated CM Punk and The Usos after Roman Reigns Speared Punk. The Shield appear to be back on the same page, at least for now.

Hour 3

They recapped the opening segment.

Bray Wyatt interrupted a plug for WWE 2K14, calling Bryan a coward. He said he could have taken the pain away but instead he was sorry for ever doubting Abigail. If Bryan refuses to walk with the reapers, he will burn with the Saints.

Match 6: AJ Lee, Tamina and Alicia Fox defeated The Bellas and Natalya. During the conclusion of the match, Tamina's Superkick appeared to legitimately injure Nikki, who was clutching her mouth and nose and looked genuinely upset. On behalf of us at GRcade, we'd all like to wish Tamina well in her future endeavors.

Another skit aired, this time with good Santa Mark Henry. A kid sat on his lap telling Mark Henry that a bad Santa had threatened to cancel Christmas. Tune in next week for Good Santa vs. Bad Santa, directly from the 'North Pole'. Or, you know, don't.

Renee Young interviewed Randy Orton backstage. Young congratulated him on his victory. A seriously pissed Orton immediately cut her off, saying he'd had enough of hearing that word. Orton said he had to wrestle some undeserving troll next; a sawed-off loser. Orton told Renee it was like living in bizarre-o world, where the Authority listen to the fans and Bryan can somehow win a Slammy award. Orton then said everyone from the WWE Universe should bend over and kiss his ass, before storming back off again. This was Orton's best, funniest promo in his entire career and no written recap can do it justice.

Luke Harper and Erik Rowan vs. Rhodes' Brothers was announced for SmackDown.

Main Event: In a non-title affair, Daniel Bryan defeated WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton by Disqualification after Randy Orton intentionally low-blowed Bryan in front of the referee at 25:00. This match was considerably better than anything on TLC.

Over-run

Afterwards, John Cena ran down and tackled Orton to the mat. Once he had dispatched Orton to the outside, Cena went to check on Bryan, who had also had his arm worked on by Orton throughout the course of the match. As Cena was doing so, Orton snuck back into the ring and dropped him with an RKO. Orton raised both Championship belts above his head to take RAW off the air!

WWE Monday Night RAW "Bad Santa vs. Good Santa" Tapings (airing on 23rd December 2013)

Image

Match 1: Team "Total Divas" The Bella Twins, Naomi, Cameron, Natalya & Eva Marie defeated Aksana, WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee, Tamina, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox when Natalya used the Sharpshooter on Aksana.

Match 2: Sin Cara defeated Curtis Axel.

Match 3: The Wyatt Family defeated Daniel Bryan & Tag Team Champions Goldust & Cody Rhodes when Wyatt pinned Cody off Sister Abigail. The Wyatt's then completely destroyed Bryan after the match.

They had a Christmas Carol contest. Mahal & McIntyre, Marella & Khali and Xavier Woods & R-Truth. The crowd picked Khali & Marella as the winners.

Match 4: Fandango beat Dolph Ziggler in Vince Russo's speciality, A Present On A Pole match. Fandango will now face Big E Langston for the Intercontinental strap on December 30.

Match 5: The Usos defeated Titus O'Neil & Darren Young.

Match 6: With Christmas itself on the line, "Good Santa" Mark Henry pinned "Bad Santa" Damien Sandow. The ring was surrounded by Christmas crap, and both men wrestled in Santa costumes.

Match 7: Los Matadores beat Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter)

Match 8: Ryback beat Kofi Kingston with Shellshocked.

Main Event: John Cena, CM Punk & Big E Langston vs. The Shield ended in a Disqualification after Reigns and Rollins broke up a pin attempt from Langston on Ambrose. The good guys then came to the rescue and cleaned house.

WWE RAW OLD SCHOOL January 6th 2014 Results wrote:Image

Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Commentators: Michael Cole and John "Bradshaw" Layfield

Hour 1

It may be the first Live broadcast of 2014, but for one night only we're back in 1997 as Monday Night RAW goes Old School! Proceedings commenced with Ric Flair making his way out. He said he knew that when "Old School" RAW was coming to Baltimore, he had to be there in person. After strutting around the place, WWE Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton interrupted. They both embraced. Orton thanked Flair for all he had done, but said tonight wasn't all about the legends and Hall of Famers, but rather about Randy Orton. Orton claimed that Flair would agree that he is the greatest of all time and the one and only WWE Champion. He then moved his attention to his match with John Cena at the Rumble, taking umbrage with The Authority for not consulting him. Orton demanded the decision be reversed because he is "The Man". This caused Flair to step back in. Flair said when he was World Champion he had to go out there 7 nights a week and defend the title for three decades. He said that's why he has two Hall of Fame rings. While Flair congratulated Orton on beating Cena, all he hears right now is crying from Orton. Flair told Orton to go out there and wrestle Cena once more. Orton fired back that Flair always had someone watching his back when he was champion, & in actual fact is the "most over-rated Superstar in history" & that he needs to get out of his ring. Flair said he's not going anywhere, & Triple H hand-picked Orton because he had all the tools, but the fact is Orton still has an immature punk attitude that he's never managed to grow out of. An agitated Orton threatened to go old school on "Flair's ass" right now. As Orton threw the microphone down, John Cena made his way out to make the save. Cena congratulated Orton for sinking to a new level of scumbag. Cena challenged Orton to go "old school" with him tonight. Orton teased fighting Cena but then bailed to the outside, leaving Cena and Flair to pose and muck about in the ring, with Orton raising both championships in the aisle.

They cut back to the announce table, where Michael Cole and John Layfield were sporting retro WWF announcer blazers. Bradshaw had Vince McMahon's old bouffant hairstyle. Cole said Jerry Lawler isn't here tonight as he's under the weather, however despite rumours online his heart is fine, & we could get a further update on his condition during the commercial break on the WWE App.

They aired a video package on Daniel Bryan joining the Wyatt Family on last week's RAW. They announced the 4th Wyatt would début next in a 6 man tag against The Usos and Rey Mysterio.

Match 1: The Uso Brothers and Rey Mysterio defeated Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Daniel Bryan (w/Bray Wyatt) when there was a minor verbal miscommunication between Luke Harper and Daniel Bryan. Luke Harper forcibly tagged Bryan on the back and told him to step back on the apron, which led to Harper getting rolled up by an Uso for the pin. After the match, all 4 members of the Wyatt Family stood frustrated in the ring and stared down at The Usos and Mysterio in the aisleway. There were loud "Daniel Bryan" chants at the start of the match but these quickly fizzled out.

They announced The Shield would be on Piper's Pit later tonight; in addition CM Punk will face off against Roman Reigns.

A video package promoting Batista's return on January 20 aired. Cole revealed Batista will be a participant in the Royal Rumble match.

They replayed highlights of Damien Sandow facing Khali from last week & the blown call by the referee.

In the RAW office, Brad Maddox was shown telling someone off camera that due to a lack of competent officiating, WWE fans will have the chance to vote tonight for a Hall of Famer to referee a rematch between Great Khali and Damien Sandow. The camera panned back to reveal Bob Backlund, Arn Anderson & Sgt. Slaughter. They left as Kane walked in and asked Maddox if there was anything he'd like to say to his face rather than behind his back. Maddox asked what Kane was going to do about it & whether he was going to threaten him with violence. Kane quoted Page 23 of the WWE Human Resources Handbook, which says if he were to lay a finger on Brad he'd be dismissed. However on his way out he'd also make sure Brad is never seen again. Or if Maddox were to get him fired instead, he'd return to being a monster and will make sure Brad still isn't heard from ever again. Therefore Kane reminded Maddox that he needs to keep that in mind the next time he talks to The Authority about his job.

Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston was shown walking backstage towards the ring. He bumped into Nikolai Volkoff singing the Soviet Union national anthem, Ted DiBiase talking to Aksana and Irwin R Schyster en-route.

Ryback was on commentary. He apologised for having a "horse voice" after hanging out with Lilian Garcia. Groan.

Match 2: In a non-title match, Big E Langston pinned Curtis Axel with the Big Ending.

Roddy Piper was shown backstage heading towards the ring for Piper's Pit. All Together Now by Anthrax played in the background.

Rowdy Roddy Piper made his way out to a just about respectable ovation. This crowd really hasn't been delivering the goods tonight. Piper said he was old school before old school was cool. Crowd finally broke out into a "Roddy" chant. Before Piper could get any further The Shield's music hit and they walked out through the crowd. Dean Ambrose asked who gave the old man a microphone? He said that if they were around back in the day Piper may not have made it to 112 years old. Piper reminded him it's Piper's Pit not Ambrose Alley. Piper said there was only one guy that could match him on the microphone, and that was CM Punk. Rollins stepped in & said they're too smart for Piper's tactics and he's just jealous that Ambrose is a better United States champion than Piper ever was. Piper told Rollins he can't beat CM Punk in a singles match.

Hour 2

Piper then told Ambrose he couldn't beat Punk either. He then turned his attention to Reigns, asking that if he beats Punk tonight does that make him better than the other two, and if that itself would be the "crack in The Shield?". Reigns got up from his chair, and said that if Piper ever touches him again he's going to break his ass in half. As they were about to all jump Piper, CM Punk & The New Age Outlaws ran down to make the save, quickly dispatching The Shield and sending them packing back through the crowd.

A video package aired of Brock Lesnar's return from last week.

Michael Cole on commentary said RAW is airing for the first time tonight Live on J-Sports in Japan.

Match 3: Alberto Del Rio pinned Sin Cara with a kick to the jaw. This is turning less into old School RAW and more Rematch Monday.

Alberto Del Rio cut a promo stating everyone should be talking about him in the Rumble match, rather than Batista. He vowed to throw "that perro" over the top rope.

Michael Cole said Jerry Lawler is suffering from a stomach virus and is simply watching the show from backstage along with the other legends.

They recapped the six man from earlier.

Backstage in a darkened room, Daniel Bryan told Luke and Erick that he wanted to join the family to be transformed from a man to a monster. But at the same time he also wants to teach & contribute. Bryan said that he wants to team with one of them. Bray Wyatt stepped in and said that wouldn't be necessary, as next week Bryan would be teaming with him instead.

Zeb Colter was in the ring clutching a "The best defence is a FENCE" sign.

Match 4: Tag Team Champions The Rhodes' Brothers beat The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) when Goldust pinned Jack Swagger in a non-title outing.

DDP was doing some DDP Yoga in his locker room when Booker T walked in. DDP got a cheap plug in for his yoga program. DDP then did one of his positions. Booker then attempted some of his own 'Booker T yoga' but put his back out. Ron Simmons then walked in and said "DAMN".

JBL (or as Cole called him Ron Burgundy) revealed fans had voted Sgt Slaughter as the special guest referee with 55%.

Match 5: In contender for worst match of the year (getting in there WEEK 1) Great Khali (w/a returning Ranjin Singh) defeated Damien Sandow. Sandow had his foot on the rope at the count of 1 but Sgt. Slaughter didn't notice, with the joke being he's old and can't see very well. After the match, Sandow got into a shoving match with Slaughter, so The Sarge put him in the Cobra Clutch and put him to sleep, before kicking Sandow out of the ring. After a bit of cajoling, Slaughter, Khali and Ranjin danced.

Brock Lesnar accompanied by Paul Heyman were shown backstage heading towards to the ring.

They played the opening RAW titles...1 hour 50 minutes too late.

Brock Lesnar and Heyman made their way out. Heyman introduced the self proclaimed number 1 contender Brock Lesnar. He said his client wants him to convey his dismay over the public's perception of the term "old school". Heyman claimed that to Lesnar it isn't about trudging out these legends and giving them their last hurrah. Rather old school is when one man reigns supreme and everyone from the locker room comes out and challenges him. Back in the day, Bruno Sammartino reigned supreme, and everyone in the locker room wanted a piece. Or when Hulk Hogan reigned supreme everyone wanted a piece of him. Hogan received a mixed reaction. Or Steve Austin, who got easily the biggest pop of the three. Heyman said they weren't listing these names for the crowd's acceptance or approval. After the Rumble, you may as well put an expiration stamp on the back of either Orton or Cena as they'll have a target which signals Brock Lesnar will be gunning for them. Heyman claimed no one in WWE, MMA or pro sports can compare to Lesnar's ability to reign supreme. Mark Henry interrupted and both he and Lesnar picked up from where they left off last week. After a brief brawl, Lesnar got the upper hand and applied the Kimura Lock, dislocating Mark Henry's arm in the process.

Hour 3

With medical personnel tending to Mark Henry, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar headed up the aisle but were instead greeted by the sounds of Big Show's theme music. Both made their way back into the ring. Show made a 'run' into the squared circle, but Lesnar quickly made his exit back out again. Paul Heyman got up on the apron and attempted to distract Big Show, allowing Brock Lesnar to re-enter the ring. With Lesnar about to get the jump on Show, Show turned around and caught him, chucking Lesnar right across and out of the ring. Heyman played the voice of reason on the outside & pleaded with Lesnar to back down. As Show stood tall in the ring staring down both men, the crowd began singing "Hey, Hey Goodbye!" while Lesnar & Heyman both retreated to the back.

R-Truth and Xavier Woods vs. The Real Americans was announced for Main Event Wednesday night.

Match 6: Alicia Fox and Aksana defeated The Bellas when Brie missed a dropkick off the turnbuckle and Aksana got the pin.

Michael Cole plugged an "Important Announcement that will change the course of WWE forever" on Wednesday night. According to rumours, this pertains to the WWE Network. The new WWE logo most associated with the Network was shown on screen.

Too Cool and Rikishi were backstage getting ready for action next.

3MB cut an inset promo, and vowed to start a winning streak.

Match 7: Rikishi and Too Cool beat 3MB when Rikishi sat on Jinder Mahal. I used to know what all these moves were called once, you know...

Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan vs. The Usos was announced for next week.

The Legends, led out by The Godfather (minus the hoes), came out onto the stage. JBL snuck "pimpin' ain't easy" in there. Their names were read out individually by Justin Roberts to pretty pathetic pops from the Live crowd. Wade Barrett then rose on his podium and slagged them all off for being over the hillers who about 7 people remember at flee markets, and when the crowd leave tonight they'll have all forgotten their names too. Bad News Barrett has got another new podium, and the red stamp is now #BNB.

Randy Orton vs. Big E Lanston in a non-title bout for SmackDown.

Mean Gene came out and said it was great to be back in Baltimore. Okerlund said he had many stories he could tell about his experiences in the city, but we'd all have to call the WCW hotline at $5.99 a minute to hear them. And as for getting parents permission? Forget about it! He looked at someone in the crowd & joked at least somebody remembers it. Gene then introduced The New Age Outlaws. Road Dogg asked Okerlund not to tell the story about that time with the farm animals and a clown.

In the ring, The Outlaws did their DX routine, culminating with Billy Gunn getting the crowd to respond with "suck it!". Road Dogg then introduced the man that drops pipebombs on your mother, CM Punk.

Over-run

Main Event: Roman Reigns (w/The Shield) defeated CM Punk (w/The Outlaws) when Reigns nailed Punk with the Spear. Leading into the finish, The Outlaws and The Shield got into it on the outside.

With The Shield about to continue a beat down on CM Punk, none other than Jake The Snake Roberts made his return. Michael Cole feigned a level of shock not heard since the days of Tony Schiavone attempting to get over the return of the Ultimate Warrior on Nitro. The New Age Outlaws & CM Punk re-entered the ring & cleaned house on Reigns and Seth Rollins, leaving Dean Ambrose to take a GTS. Jake, who had brought a yellow sack to the ring, pulled out a snake & planted it on Ambrose, & then appeared to suggest shoving it down Ambrose's pants. Someone off camera was heard saying "PG now Jake, PG!". Jake waved the snake over Ambrose's face. Dean at first glance appeared to be attempting to stop himself from laughing. On commentary JBL proclaimed "Somebody call PETA!". With The Shield being kept at bay on the outside, The Outlaws, Punk, Jake and Damien stood tall to take RAW: Old School off the air!

RAW RESULTS - "Bryan's Revenge" wrote:Image

Location: Providence Road Island; Dunkin' Donuts Center
Commentators: Michael Cole, John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Hour 1

WWE RAW: New School opened with a Bray Wyatt narrated video package on Daniel Bryan joining the Wyatt Family.

Match 1: The Usos vs. Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt ended in Disqualification when Erick Rowan and Luke Harper walked in and attacked The Uso Brothers. After the match, Daniel Bryan dropped to his knees and extended his arms, effectively sacrificing himself to Bray Wyatt. Bray kissed him on the head and then nailed Sister Abigail. Erick and Harper then picked Bryan up and helped him to the back. The crowd were firmly behind Daniel Bryan during the match.

They promoted John Cena as being "in action" next, like this was some sort of novelty.

Match 2: John Cena defeated Damien Sandow with the AA in a very competitive bout. Cena was blatantly wearing Red and Yellow underwear, brother. After the match, Cena hugged his Dad in the crowd.

In a rematch from SmackDown, it was announced The New Age Outlaws would team with CM Punk to take on The Shield later tonight.

Michael Cole promised more on the WWE Network after the break.

We got an extended Trailer for the WWE Network running down the feature set, and the $9.99 price tag.

Director of Operations Kane was backstage in the RAW office looking at some paper work when General Manager Brad Maddox walked in. Maddox suggested to Kane that The Usos take on Bray and Bryan again tonight, but this time in a steel cage. Kane then said he liked it, but in addition to that the cage door would be padlocked shut...and the only one with the key would be him.

Match 3: Big Show pinned Jack Swagger (w/Antonio Cesaro) off a Chokeslam in a 1 minute squash match straight out of his WCW career. Zeb Colter was holding a "You're a BIG part of the problem" sign. After the match, Show chased off and then dispatched of Cesaro over the top rope, before then turning his attention to Colter. After much teasing, he KO'ed him in the middle of the ring, as Cesaro watched on in horror from the outside. Show made his way to the back, signing a poster for a fan in the process. Which was nice of him.

A package aired promoting the return of Batista at the Royal Rumble.

The Outlaws came out and went through their usual routine. Jesse James got a "Flash Funk" name check in there when introducing CM Punk, leading to Flash Funk trending on Twitter.

Hour 2

Match 4: The Shield defeated "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, "Road Dogg" Jesse James and CM Punk. The finish saw CM Punk going for a tag but The Outlaws instead dropping off the apron at the last moment and walking out on the match. After initially fighting The Shield off, the numbers game was too much and Roman Reigns hit Punk with the Spear for the pin. Following the match, The Shield delivered the Triple Power Bomb on Punk.

In an undisclosed dark location Bray Wyatt, accompanied by the family, continued his brainwashing propaganda on Daniel Bryan.

Emma from NXT (the dancing one) was shown holding up a sign in the crowd. John Layfield acknowledged who she was on commentary.

Match 5: WWE Divas' Champion AJ Lee and Tamina Snuka defeated The Funkadactyls when AJ hit the Shining Wizard on Cameron. After the match, Tamina went to work on Cameron but Naomi made the save, sending them both packing.

WWE Champion Randy Orton was shown on the warpath backstage, on the hunt for The Authority.`

Back from break, Orton stormed into the RAW office and asked Kane where Triple H and Stephanie were. Orton said he's been put in an unnecessary match with John Cena, Lesnar wants a piece of him, and Batista is coming back as well. Kane said he was aware of all that, but all he can control is tonight, therefore he was going to allow him to take out all his frustrations on Kofi Kingston. Orton said the pleasure will be all his.

They showed various press quotes on the WWE Network.

The first inductee for the 2014 WWE Hall Of Fame was announced as Ultimate Warrior! A video package aired filled with nonsensical promos.

Renee Young interviewed Paul Heyman backstage. Heyman said beauty really is skin deep around here. Heyman questioned whether he was supposed to be impressed that Show beat up an innocent elderly gentleman earlier tonight. Heyman said Show may be a freak of nature, but he's also suffering from a case of rampant stupidity. Heyman claimed picking a fight with Brock Lesnar at the Rumble may be the most boneheaded move he's ever made.

Match 6: In a non-title outing, Kofi Kingston pinned WWE Champion Randy Orton off the S.O.S in an epic snooze fest devoid of crowd heat. That feud over a NASCAR sure feels like a lifetime ago now, huh...

Hour 3

Randy Orton lost the plot at ringside, kicking the stairs and throwing the cover off the announce table, while the crowd told him he sucked. Orton then went over to the front row of the crowd and attacked John Cena's Dad before being pulled off by security. John ran down and Orton scarpered back around the other side of the ring, leaving John Cena and medical to check on his Dad.

Back from commercial, Daddy dearest was shown being wheeled out on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance, with John in tow.

Match 6: WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeated Ryback and Curtis Axel in a non title match after Cody hit Cross Rhodes on Axel.

Lawler: "Just think guys, when the WWE Network hits you'll be able to see me defeat Curt Hennig for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship..."
JBL: "That wasn't fair though, you booked the territory"
Cole: "Hahaha. Will those stories be told on the WWE Network?
Lawler: "Is that why you never came there?"
Cole: "That and he couldn't get a pay day he heard..."

Rey Mysterio cut an inset promo straight out of the late 80s vowing victory in the Rumble.

Match 7: Alberto Del Rio tapped out Rey Mysterio with the Cross Arm Breaker in another match that had little interest outside of the arena fan.

Alberto Del Rio cut a promo asking Batista how he felt watching his friend Rey get beat up. Del Rio vowed the same thing will happen if Batista shows up next week, and after the Rumble all this "ignorance" will stop talking about Batista and will instead be talking about Alberto Del Rio.

They showed highlights of the WWE Network Press Conference last week.

CM Punk confronted Kane in the office, demanding to know where The Authority were, and how it wasn't enough he had to deal with The Shield but now Triple H's old DX friends as well. Punk told Kane rather than Triple H constantly hiding behind others, he sort it out with him 1-on-1. Kane said he had no idea what Punk was talking about, and in fact Punk has an opportunity to main event WrestleMania as he's now in the Rumble match.

A wacky over-produced promo aired by The Usos, supposedly having been conducted "moments ago" hyping the rage in the cage.

The Wyatt Family made their entrance, as the crowd clapped along to the entrance music.

The New Age Outlaws vs. Goldust and Cody Rhodes in a non-title match was announced for SmackDown. Nobody told JBL it was non-title...

Cena's Dad apparently has an eye injury, with possibly a fractured orbital socket.

Kane came out and padlocked the cage door.

Main Event: The Usos defeated Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt (w/Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) in a very flat Tornado Tag Team steel cage match when Daniel Bryan fell off the cage and accidentally crotched Bray on the top rope, allowing The Usos to escape.

Over-run

After the match, Bray demanded Bryan 'sacrifice' himself to Sister Abigail once more. Bryan slipped out and both men had a stand-off, the crowd erupting into loud "Daniel Bryan" and "Yes!" chants. Bray got on his knees and demanded Bryan take him out. Bryan initially refused, leading to Bray to shout and chastise Bryan for being a coward. Bray turned around, paused, and then took a run at Bryan in the corner. Bryan reversed it and went to work assaulting Bray. With the crowd now going nuts, Bryan went to work with kicks to the body and head, before running Bray repeatedly into the cage. With Luke and Erick desperately attempting to get in, Bryan then shed his overalls to reveal his red tights and knee pads underneath. As Providence Road Island all chanted "YES!" in unison, Bryan finished Bray off with a Running Knee to the head. With Bryan perched atop the steel cage, the crowd celebrated along with Bryan to take RAW off the air!

WWE RAW IS BATISTA 20th January 2014 RESULTS wrote:Image

Location: Wright State University Nutter Center; Dayton, Ohio
Commentators: Michael Cole, John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Jerry "The King" Lawler

Hour 1

Monday Night RAW opened with a video tribute for Martin Luther King Jr.

Triple H and wife Stephanie McMahon were in a joyous mood in the ring. Hunter said that this Sunday officially starts the Road to WrestleMania, with 30 men competing in the Royal Rumble match for a chance to be in a main event at WrestleMania for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H then said it was his distinct honour to welcome back one of those competitors; a man that has been both a friend and foe, and someone who has "evolved" along with him. Before Triple H could continue, WWE Champion Randy Orton's music hit and he marched down to the ring. Orton asked who the hell they thought they were. Stephanie responded by asking him the exact same question. Stephanie said that 10 days ago was the announcement of the WWE Network, and with so many eyes on the WWE - the most ever according to her - Orton decided to attack a helpless old man. Stephanie called his actions despicable, and unbecoming of a WWE Champion. She noted that if Orton cannot abide by The Authority, then he won't have to worry about defending the title at the Rumble, or in fact being part of the WWE roster at all. Randy responded that if he was not put in an unnecessary rematch against John Cena he wouldn't be this angry. Not only that but they've brought back Brock Lesnar, and now HHH has also rehired Batista too, and who knows what his intentions are. Randy told Stephanie that if it wasn't for him then there wouldn't even be a WWE Network. Randy questioned how he is supposed to react to all this blatant disrespect. Orton said that if he could go back, he wouldn't have changed a thing about last week. Hunter demanded Randy take the bass out of his voice. Trips said the reason why Randy Orton is the WWE Champion and the reason why they chose Randy as the face of the WWE is because they believe in him. He his capable of walking through any problems in a way befitting of a WWE Champion. However it appears Orton has lost faith in himself, leading to a loss against Kofi Kingston last week. Triple H said that while there's no shame in losing to Kofi, Orton should rise up and make it right, instead of punching an old man to cover for his shortcomings. Hunter said he understands that Brock and then Batista are waiting at the door right behind John Cena. So, Orton needs to fix things starting tonight, therefore Orton will face Kofi Kingston in a rematch again tonight. Hunter then went to a camera shot of the parking entrance, telling Orton this is where John Cena will come from later tonight (because other weeks he presumably arrives through the sewer system). Triple H told Orton he can make it right tonight, but he will do so alone. Orton contemplated this, as Batista's music suddenly played and The Animal made his return to the WWE. After soaking up the applause, Batista got on his knees and kissed the canvas. He then hugged Stephanie and Triple H, who then both made their exist. "Hello Randy". Orton extended his hand but Batista wasn't interested in reciprocating. Batista said that he understood Randy has a few questions about his return. He said he's going to make this as simple as possible. Batista pointed at the title belts, and said that whether it is Orton, Cena, or someone else, he doesn't care. He is back to win the Royal Rumble on Sunday. He is back to be WWE World Heavyweight Champion and he is back to headline WrestleMania, so Orton is just going to have to deal with it. Batista then chucked the microphone down and left.

They announced Big Show and Brock Lesnar would go Face-To-Face later tonight.

The New Age Outlaws vs. The Rhodes Brothers for the Tag Team Championship was announced for the WWE Royal Rumble Kick-off show prior to the PPV. Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels will be on the Legends panel.

Match 1: The Shield defeated Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston and WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust when Seth Rollins pinned Langston off a face stomp.

We got a video package on Bray Wyatt's confrontation with Daniel Bryan at the conclusion of RAW last week. Next, Daniel Bryan breaks his silence on his time with the Wyatt Family.

Back from commercial break, Daniel Bryan was on the turnbuckle leading the crowd in chanting "YES! YES! YES!". "And some people say I shouldn't be the face of this company" joked Bryan. JBL immediately quipped on commentary "what an ugly face", Cole guffawing in the background. Bryan said people have asked him if he had a plan, but the crowd have already figured that question out. He said to take down someone with a messiah complex, he had to do it both physically and mentally. Bryan said to do that he had to do things he wasn't proud of. He had to keep his friends in the dark, taking punishment, and stand side by side with people he despises, biding his time. And that moment came last week. Bryan said he became the buzzard and chewed on the carcass of Bray Wyatt. Bryan said Bray likes to talk about fate, but he exposed him. This Sunday he is going to do exactly the same thing. With Harper and Rowan in the Rumble match, this is perfect as that leaves Bray to go one-one-one with him. Bryan then led the crowd in "YES" once more as the lights then went out in the arena. Bray was heard humming on the Tron. He told Bryan that a man that is not willing to die for something is not fit to live, and being a traitor is a sin of the highest order. Bray told Bryan that he didn't expose him like he thinks, but rather Bryan exposed himself, and only a coward would do what he did. Bray told Bryan to go home and hug his mother, and tell her he loves her as everything that happens to him from now on will be his own fault. Crowd chanted "Daniel Bryan!" as we faded to black.

Match 2: Fandango (w/Summer Rae) pinned Xavier Woods off a top rope Leg Drop in a quick nothing match. R-Truth was on commentary.

Emma from NXT was once again shown in the crowd, holding a #EMMAtaining sign.

In the RAW Office RAW GM Brad Maddox was with Kane. They got into a minor disagreement as to who brought back Batista. Stephanie McMahon walked in and demanded Maddox give them a minute. She asked Kane what he was thinking on SmackDown Chokeslamming CM Punk. She said they knew this was a risk changing Kane, but he needs to get a hold of himself because he is in a managerial position. Kane tried to respond but Stephanie cut him off and said he cannot put his hands on any Superstar, even if that Superstar thinks The Authority has some sort of hidden agenda. Kane apologized. Steph said he needs to do more by apologising to CM Punk in the ring tonight. Kane snapped back that if anyone should apologise, it's Punk. He then succumbed to her demands and left.

We got an on screen graphic quoting Martin Luther.

Kane made his way out, as they replayed the conclusion to SmackDown Friday.

Hour 2

Back in the ring, Director of Operations Kane requested CM Punk come out, the crowd breaking out into a "CM Punk" chant. With the sounds of Cult of Personality filling the arena, Cole requested we all tweet with the Hashtag #CorporateKane. Kane told Punk that on SmackDown he had overstepped his bounds and that, despite saving Punk from a 5-1 beating, he apologies. Punk said that he doesn’t know if Kane’s microphone is working because he didn't hear a word. An agitated Kane apologised once more. Crowd chanted "One more time.". Punk said that he doesn't need to hear Kane apologise again. He then punched and kicked Kane in the head, sending him bailing to the ringside floor. Kane was about to get back in the ring when Brad Maddox came out onto the ramp, and told Kane to stop. Maddox said since Kane was incapable of controlling the situation himself he will give Punk a fight tonight. Not against Kane, rather one of the New Age Outlaws.

Billy Gunn lost a game of Rock Paper Scissors on the outside, leading to Road Dogg inserting himself on commentary.

Match 3: CM Punk pinned Billy Gunn with the Go To Sleep. During the match, CM Punk attacked Road Dogg at the announce table.

Brad Maddox sarcastically congratulated Punk on his victory, but before he could go on was interrupted by a returning Kane. He said that he sees why Punk considers himself to be the Best in the World, therefore he will get to prove it on Sunday. In the Rumble every number is drawn at random, except for CM Punk’s, who be the number 1 entrant in the Royal Rumble.

In the parking lot entrance, Brock Lesnar was shown arriving with Paul Heyman into the building. Sure looked cold out...

We got the obligatory "All about the numbers" Royal Rumble video package. This one wasn't as good as previous years.

They aired a video tribute, now voiced by Stephanie McMahon, to the late Mae Young. A "thank you Mae" chant was in its infancy when Rey Mysterio came out instead.

Match 4: In a rematch of a rematch, Alberto Del Rio tapped out Rey Mysterio with the Cross Arm Breaker.

After the match Batista came out and dropped Del Rio with a Spinebuster and Power Bomb.

Backstage, Big Show was having a fake mime conversion with a stagehand.

They aired another Luther King Jr. quote.

The Slowster made his way down grinning like an apricot. They re-aired Show chucking Lesnar across the ring from Old School RAW. Big Show did a Paul Heyman impersonation. Show said Lesnar is the beast incarnate, and probably the most dangerous individual in WWE right now. Big Show descended into another 'comical' Paul Heyman impersonation, depending on where you stand on such things. Show then called out Lesnar. Heyman instead came out. Crowd called him a "Walrus". Heyman stood on the stage in prolonged silence. Brock Lesnar then walked out, pyro exploding everywhere. Heyman now had a satanic looking grin on his face in the background. Lesnar teased getting in the ring, but instead turned around and both he and Heyman walked to the back smiling.

Hour 3

Show grabbed the microphone and demanded Brock Lesnar drag his ass out to the ring and get in his face. This was apparently too much for Lesnar to handle, as both he & Heyman returned and walked down the aisle. Lesnar crossed his arms and they both stared at each other for a while. Lesnar finally made it into the ring and both men went face-to-face, actually delivering on the advertising for once. Lesnar went to take down Show but Show overpowered him and tossed Lesnar into the corner. Lesnar tried to tackle Big Show a second time but Show grabbed him and chucked Lesnar over the top rope. Lesnar then went nuts at ringside and tore the lid off the announce table and smashed up two monitors, before grabbing a chair and repeatedly bashing it against the corner of the table. Brock attempted to enter the ring again, this time with a chair in tow but Show stood on the chair and Lesnar retreated. Show shouted that he was going to knock him out on Sunday. Lesnar screamed he'd see him on Sunday, as he and Heyman headed back up the ramp backstage.

They showed the parking lot once more, anticipating the arrival of John Cena.

On the WWE App, #BadNewsBarrett was backstage telling AJ Lee, who was having a party to celebrate being the longest reigning Divas' champion, that nobody came to her party because she is universally reviled and loathed by the entire women's roster. Josh Mathews (remember him?) turned up and asked how AJ Lee felt about Barrett's comments. Holding a celebratory cake, AJ Lee had a meltdown and threw the cake at Josh, but he ducked and the cake ended up in the face of Tamina.

Match 5: The Funkadactyls defeated Divas' Champion AJ Lee and Tamina (who was still partially covered in cake) when Naomi rolled up AJ. After the match, AJ freaked out in the ring.

They re-aired Batista's return from the top of the show.

The aired another Royal Rumble "It's all about the numbers" facts video.

They ran down the card for Sunday, now confirming Bray Wyatt vs. Daniel Bryan.

They aired another video package on Martin Luther King.

Big Show and Rey Mysterio against The Real Americans for SmackDown.

Match 6: The Usos defeated Wyatt Family members Luke Harper and Erick Rowan (w/Bray Wyatt) when Daniel Bryan ran down and started assaulting Bray on the outside. With Erick Rowan taken out by a kick to the head from Bryan, Luke Harper was rolled up in the ring for the pin. On the stage Daniel Bryan and The Usos woke the crowd from their stupor and led them in chanting "YES!", as Bray laughed slumped against the apron.

We once again got a shot of the parking entrance bay.

Main Event: In a non-title outing, Randy Orton defeated Kofi Kingston by Disqualification when John Cena turned up 3 hours late and started beating up Randy Orton.

Over-run

Both men battled into the crowd and all the way up into a sky box. Orton managed to escape into the concourse and straight out the entrance of the building. With Cena in hot pursuit, Randy Orton got into a passing car on the street and drove off. In a bizarre ending, the cameras filmed Cena standing outside and then followed him all the way back into the building and through the crowd, as Cena slapped hands, conversed with fans and at one point even posed for a photograph. Cena celebrated in the ring to take RAW off the air.

Commentary: Michael Cole, John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Jerry "The King" Lawler

Hour 1

The post Rumble RAW opened with The Authority coming out happy as Larry. They aired photos of Brock Lesnar destroying Big Show with repeated chair shots from last night. Stephanie welcomed everyone to Monday Night RAW, immediately drowned out by boos. She said that last night we all witnessed one of the most satisfying and epic Royal Rumble PPVs in history. As the crowd interrupted with chants of "Daniel Bryan" Triple H mocked everyone by wimpishly asking if we didn't get what we wanted last night. 'Ah, that's too bad'. Triple H said that it was a wonderful night at the Royal Rumble: Randy Orton defeated John Cena and retained the WWE title; Brock Lesnar destroyed Big Show; and it was a night where their good friend returned after 4 years to win the Royal Rumble and secure his spot in the main event of WrestleMania. This resulted in more boos. Stephanie said there's one more stop on the Road to WrestleMania however, and that's Elimination Chamber. She announced Randy Orton would have to defend the strap inside the steel structure. Daniel Bryan made his way out to a big ovation. He sarcastically asked the crowd if they could stop chanting his name as The Authority doesn't like it. Stephanie mocked the crowd by saying she thought they wouldn't be gullible enough to fall for his cheap parlour tricks but she guessed wrong. Bryan said that his match with Bray was one of the toughest of his career and win, lose, or draw, when it comes to the greatest moments in Rumble history, people are talking about his match. Triple H chimed in and mockingly called it "a good little effort". Stephanie, appearing to call an audible on behalf of her husband, said "it was an incredible match, it was". Bryan continued that when people talk about the biggest disappointments in Rumble history, he'd have to think they were talking about him not even being in the Rumble match. Bryan said he came to The Authority time after time asking to be in the Rumble match, but every time he asked, they told him no. Bryan said there's a "YES! Movement" going on but every time he knocked on their door they refused him entry. Stephanie said that, while it might be tough to understand, they need to look after the well-being of their roster. With everything Bryan has been through, he was in no condition to compete in 2 matches. Stephanie said they didn't want to put him in jeopardy. Bryan stepped in and reminded them of the countless times he's been put in multiple matches in 1 evening. Triple H responded by saying it was a fair point, which is why they decided to leave him out of the Rumble last night. Bryan, not buying a word, said they didn't care about him or what is "best for business", rather about what's worst for Daniel Bryan. Stephanie said it was clear the only person Bryan cares about is himself. Stephanie asked Bryan if he really believed the only person the crowd came to see was him. The inevitable "YES!" was the result to that question. Bryan asked her if the crowd came to see Randy Orton or Triple H. The crowd chanted "NO!". The crowd then started both "Daniel Bryan" and "Yes", leading to Stephanie turning to her husband and mockingly saying the crowd were incapable of "getting it together". Daniel Bryan said that he wasn't out to complain about last night, as what's happened as happened, rather - with the Championship on the line at Elimination Chamber - he wants in the match. Bryan then asked Stephanie to step aside, feeling that neither he or Triple H should leave the ring until he gets what he wants. Both then went nose-to-nose (well, Triple H looked down on the midget, but nonetheless...). Triple H said that it wasn't just the two of them in the ring, rather by the sounds of it Bryan has company. The Shield's music then hit and all three members made their way through the crowd. Seth Rollins fell over jumping over a collapsing part of the barricade. He threw a mini fit at ringside.

Sheamus came down to make the save. Finally, John Cena ran down to even things up, sending The Shield retreating back into the crowd.

It was announced John Cena, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan will take on The Shield later tonight, with the winning team gaining entry into the Elimination Chamber.

Zeb Colter, no longer in a wheel chair, cut a promo. He said the only people he knows that wear masks are criminals.

Match 1: The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) defeated Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio when Antonio Cesaro pinned Sin Cara off The Neutraliser.

The New Age Outlaws will face The Rhodes' Brothers in a Tag Title rematch from last night's Royal Rumble Kick-Off show.

#BadNewsBarrett was on his podium. He asked the crowd for some decorum. Crowd responded by saying "No!". He said he had some bad news for the TV viewers. Miz is going to battle Dolph Ziggler later tonight, with it being entitled "The Battle of Cleveland". He said it was a good job it wasn't a battle for Cleveland, as that was the type of match-up that would have 2 losers, which was appropriate as it's a town inhabited by nothing but losers.

They aired a trailer for The Monday Night Wars: WWE vs. WCW on the WWE Network.

One of the official theme songs for WrestleMania XXX is Kid Rock "Celebrate"

Xavier Woods was on commentary.

Match 2: R-Truth pinned Fandango (w/Summer Rae).

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton was shown backstage heading towards the ring.

We got a video for the WrestleMania Reading Challenge.

General Manager Brad Maddox was in the ring. He introduced #RestHoldRandy. Crowd started chanting for Daniel Bryan. Orton started by saying "the champ is here". Orton said that despite what most people expected, he beat Cena yet again. Some say it was a hollow victory buy he doesn't give a damn, as all that matters is he won. Stumbling over his words, he said he found out this morning that he has to defend the title at Elimination Chamber. He asked Brad if that was his doing or The Authority. This brought out Batista, dressed as if he'd come back from a camping holiday. He pointed at a sign in the crowd which read "Bootista". Crowd booed. Batista congratulated Randy on a hell of a performance last night. Crowd started chanting for Daniel Bryan yet again. Batista reiterated what he said last week. Batista said he doesn't care who he faces at Mania, and that includes Daniel Bryan. Batista said he doesn't care who likes it, he's leaving WrestleMania as Champion. Brock Lesnar's music hit, and out walked Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar.

Hour 2

Heyman introduced himself to Brad Maddox. Heyman said Lesnar's patience was running thin, so Brad needed to go find The Authority and tell them that they make history tonight by having Brad authorise a match between Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar right here tonight (yeah right) or, option 2, Lesnar faces Batista. Heyman said Lesnar wants an answer from management tonight "or else".

Match 3: Dolph Ziggler pinned The Miz with the ZigZag in a Battle of the Jobbers. The commentators spent the entire match mocking Cleveland. At one point the crowd started chanting "Cleveland sucks!". Apparently Cleveland is the equivalent of Slough.

Match 4: The Uso Brothers beat Ryback and Curtis Axel when Ryback was pinned with a Top Rope Splash.

Alberto Del Rio cut an inset promo vowing Batista wasn't going to make it to WrestleMania.

Match 5: Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston with a kick to the jaw in a match the crowd were so disinterested in they started chanting for the commentators again. All three acknowledged it and stood up, though Michael Cole wasn't shown on camera doing so. Del Rio was far from thrilled...

They plugged the last DLC pack for WWE 2K14, featuring Dusty Rhodes, Virgil, Jake Roberts and Rick Rude.

Hour 3

Match 6: Tag Team Champions Road Dogg and Billy Gunn vs. Goldust and Cody Rhodes ended in a Disqualification when Brock Lesnar ran in and F5'ed Cody Rhodes and Goldust. Paul Heyman grabbed a microphone and said this is what happens when The Authority decide on "Option 3", which was neither a match with Orton or Batista tonight. Lesnar then wasted both men with a steel chair to minimal reaction. During the match the commentators amused themselves about various things, and the crowd weren't even remotely interested either.

Match 7: To the sound of crickets, Naomi pinned AJ Lee in an 8 Divas' Tag match.

Lawler: 'Why don't you invite them to your house and show them your stamp collection?'
Cole: 'They'd never come.'

Jerry Lawler was seen laughing in the background.

Jerry Lawler revealed Jake "The Snake" Roberts as the latest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2014.

We got a trailer for WrestleMania Rewind on the WWE Network.

Main Event: John Cena, Daniel Bryan and Sheamus defeated The Shield by Disqualification when the lights in the arena went out and, upon coming back up, The Wyatt Family were attacking John Cena and company.

Over-run

The Wyatt Family were finally sent tail between their legs up the ramp, leaving Team Bryan to celebrate in the ring. The Shield went bananas at ringside, smashing up the announce table, aggrieved at The Wyatt's having cost them the match. The crowd chanted "YES!" along with Daniel Bryan to take a very forgettable RAW off the air.

This has been slowly building on a weekly basis now, but if you wanted a subtitle to this RAW (remember when TNA used to name their shows?) it would be "the night the crowd didn't give two gooseberry fools".

WWE RAW Results February 3rd 2014 wrote:Image

Commentators: Michael Cole, John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Jerry "The King" Lawler

Hour 1

The post Punk era (?) kicked off with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton coming down. Crowd immediately started to chant "CM PUNK", which quickly petered out when Orton didn't stop for breath. Orton said that The Authority are attempting to take the title off him by putting him in the Elimination Chamber, and that their actions are unfair. Orton questioned how many times does he have to beat the likes of John Cena and Daniel Bryan. King of Kings interrupted, bringing out Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to the stage. Crowd once again chanted for "CM PUNK". Stephanie continued to speak over them. She told Orton to calm down as he has a history of self-destructing & over-analysing things. Triple H said that as he keeps complaining maybe they need to find a new face of the WWE. Stephanie announced Randy Orton would have to face each Elimination Chamber opponent in singles action heading into the PPV, beginning tonight with Daniel Bryan. If Bryan wins, then maybe they need to consider him as the new "face of the WWE". Triple H then lead the crowd in chanting "YES".

They re-aired the conclusion to The Outlaws winning the Tag belts at the Royal Rumble.

They aired Triple H confronting The Shield in the ring on SmackDown, which led to The Wyatt's vs. The Shield being announced for Elimination Chamber.

Match 1: The Shield defeated Rey Mysterio, Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston when Roman Reigns was about to Spear Big E Langston but Dean Ambrose forcibly tagged Reigns and then hit his finishing move for the pin. During the closing minutes Roman Reigns suffered a nasty cut around his right eye. Reigns and Ambrose argued in the ring, but Seth Rollins stepped in to keep the peace.

The lights went out in the building and The Wyatt Family appeared on the TitanTron, antagonising The Shield. Bray said he knows their blue-print.

#BadNewsBarrett was on his podium demanding decorum. He said last night's Superbowl was the most watched TV event in US history, but unfortunately he has some bad news. Everyone spent the entire game eating so much junk food that some of them won't even survive until next year. Jerry Lawler interrupted on the announce table. He said that hopefully next week Barrett won't be around. Lawler's music then played. This was the worst put-down in history.

We got a trailer for WWE Network exclusive WWE Countdown.

Match 2: Christian pinned Jack Swagger (w/Antonio Cesaro and Zeb Colter) with a sunset flip. Antonio Cesario shook his head on the outside.

The steel cage descended from the ceiling, as the announcers said the only way to win was by pinfall or submission. The Tag Team Champions, the New Age Outlaws, made their way out & went through their usual pre-match spiel to a pretty lethargic reaction from the crowd. At one point the cage bracket fell off the apron, and Road Dogg appeared to ask referee Mike Chioda what or where he needed to be next. The Rhodes' brothers then followed as we headed to commercial break.

Betty White was announced as the RAW Guest Star next week.

Hour 2

With Michael Cole visibly motioning for a time stamp in the background, RAW opened the second hour with the crowd once more chanting for "CM PUNK". RAW then headed back to commercial at 9:05 with the crowd chanting "WE WANT PUNK".

Match 3: In a steel cage match contested under conventional Tag Team Rules, The New Age Outlaws retained the Tag Team Championship against Cody Rhodes and Goldust. Cody Rhodes nailed a Moonsault off the top of the cage onto Road Dogg, but Billy Gunn capitalised with a Fame Asser for the pin.

Dolph Ziggler, Xavier Woods and R-Truth vs. The Wyatt Family was announced for later.

Match 4: Titus O'Neil - who has new theme music after turning heel on Darren Young on SmackDown - defeated Zack Ryder with the Clash of the Titus. During the match The Miz walked out and grabbed a headset at the announce table, complaining that these two goofs are booked in a match but he isn't. He then stormed off again. The crowd? Well they chanted for CM Punk again...

To celebrate Black History Month they aired a video package on Ernie Ladd.

DANCE-OFF: Compèred by Santino, Emma from NXT defeated Summer Rae (w/Fandango) in an unfunny dance contest via fan cheering. This was absolute garbage.

They aired a trailer for WWE Legends House on the WWE Network.

Match 5: Sheamus pinned Curtis Axel (w/Ryback) off the Brogue Kick. Sheamus and Ryback jaw jacked after.

RAW is airing Live in Australia for the first time on FOX 8.

Batista was shown backstage heading towards the ring.

They aired a trailer for the Shawn Michaels: Mr WrestleMania DVD and Blu Ray.

Batista came out to a 90% negative reaction. Someone held up a sign in the crowd with "TERRIBLE" written on it, accurately summarising this broadcast. Alberto Del Rio immediately interrupted before Batista could get a word out. Del Rio told Batista that before he puts everyone to sleep about promising to win the title again, instead how about they talk about the unfinished business they still have. Batista said he doesn't have an issue with him. Del Rio said nobody tells him when they're done, & that Batista isn't an animal, rather a Chihuahua who is afraid of him. Del Rio told Batista that he is going to hurt him until he says please don't hurt me (Christ, who writes this child-centric shite...). Del Rio then cheap-shoted Batista and went to work attacking him.

Hour 3

Batista countered with a kick to the gut and was about to nail Del Rio with the Batista Bomb but Del Rio managed to escape and scarpered up the ramp. Batista screamed that if Del Rio wants it he's got it. Batista smashed up a microphone just for the hell of it.

Mark Henry returns next week.

Match 6: The Wyatt Family defeated the team of Dolph Ziggler, Xavier Woods and R-Truth. Luke Harper waffled Ziggler with the Clothesline from Hell and Bray followed it up with Sister Abigail for the pinfall.

The Shield showed up on the Tron sarcastically saying they're "so scared". They said Bray is really good at spewing rhetoric, but he's so delusional he's become a figment of his own imagination. Come the Chamber, playtime is over. Bray laughed in the ring, and screamed he welcomes the war.

Alexander Rusev cut a promo in his native tongue, accompanied by his female translator/valet, as part of a video package.

Match 7: Naomi (w/Cameron) pinned Aksana (w/Alicia Fox) with a split legged moonsault. AJ Lee (w/Tamina) was on commentary. Naomi's arse came into play during various points in the match, leading AJ Lee to state she wasn't being 'very PG'. Walking disaster Aksana also legitimately kneed Naomi in the eye.

We got another trailer for the WWE Network.

Randy Orton came out, apparently having arrived at a funeral.

Randy Orton vs Christian was announced for SmackDown. There's a match we've never seen before...

Main Event: Daniel Bryan defeated WWE Champion Randy Orton with a Running Knee at 27:00 in a non-title outing. Kane attempted to interfere on the ring apron, but Bryan quickly floored him.

Over-run

After the match Kane and Randy Orton double teamed Bryan in the ring, before Kane left Bryan laying with a Chokeslam. The pyro exploded from the ring posts, taking RAW off the air!

If you have access to it, watch WWE Bottom Line instead. An almost painfully dull 3 hours.

Hour 1

God I hope this is a more exciting show than last week otherwise I'm going to lose the plot. RAW opened with a graphic for Frank Bullock R.I.P. 1957-2014. Big Show and Mae Yo...Betty White came out onto the stage. The crowd erupted into a "Betty White" chant. Betty said she was ready to "kick some ass" tonight. They were then both interrupted by the arrival of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. They embraced Betty White, as Triple H then just stood there smiling at a peeved Big Show. This was hilarious. Hunter said he needed to clarify something they said last week, in which they mentioned that were Daniel Bryan to defeat Randy Orton they would re-consider Bryan as the new "face of the WWE". He said they're also reconsidering Sheamus, Antonio Cesaro, Christian, and even John Cena. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton came out. Stephanie asked if he was seriously doing this again. Orton said he needs to apologise; not to the fans but to Stephanie and Hunter. Orton said he has been childish & selfish. Randy then vowed to give The Authority what they want: The Viper, starting tonight when he beats Cena once again. With "Daniel Bryan" now filling the arena, Stephanie asked Orton if he was starting to feel the pressure with everyone talking about Daniel Bryan. Orton said that he wants to be the one on Kelly & Michael and appearing on cereal boxes (how very 90s). Before Triple H could lift the microphone to speak, Daniel Bryan's music hit and he made his way out. Stephanie said they didn't appreciate being interrupted all the time, therefore everyone would have to make an appointment with Kane to see them. Much to the chagrin of Orton, Bryan reminded him that despite Kane's interference, he still lost last week to him. Steph said she and Hunter do not condone Kane's actions, therefore he is on admin leave for 1 week, & has received a strongly-worded letter in his file. Bryan mocked & demanded he be put in a match tonight against Kane. Orton stepped in and demanded Bryan show The Authority some respect. Bryan responded by saying everyone knows how much Orton really likes Stephanie. Crowd OH'ed. Bryan said he remembered when Orton handcuffed Hunter to the ropes and kissed Stephanie. Orton said he would punt Bryan's head all the way to Seattle. Hunter interjected that Bryan would face in the ring tonight...absolutely no one. Bryan, along with the crowd, screamed "NO!" into Triple H's face. The RAW theme tune abruptly interrupted, cutting them off. As The Authority and Orton left the ring, the announcers went to plugging tonight's proceedings.

They said Mark Henry would return later, John Cena would face Randy Orton in the main event and they plugged the latest issue of WWE Kids Magazine.

Match 1: In a lively six-man tag in front of a hot crowd, The Wyatt Family defeated The Rhodes' Brothers and Rey Mysterio when Bray Wyatt planted Rey with Sister Abigail for the pin.

After the match, Bray Wyatt sat in his chair and cut a promo on The Shield. He said just as everyone else has failed, they will be no different. Bray claimed The Shield will fall, right before the next game to begin.

We got a video package on Roman Reign's record setting number of eliminations in the Royal Rumble match.

Renee Young interviewed The Shield backstage. Reigns told her that actions always speak louder than words. Renee then turned to Ambrose and asked why he hadn't defended the US Championship in ages. Ambrose said there's a lot of paper work that comes with defending the championship, and he can hardly pull contenders out of thin air. Reigns interjected, scoffing at Ambrose, asking if he really wanted to be 'that type of champion'. Ambrose said he resents that remark & will prove it tonight by going out to the ring & issuing an open challenge to anyone.

Betty White was with the Total Divas mob backstage in which they did that awkward thing of shoe-horning in a forced plug for Betty's new TV show. The New Age Outlaws then walked in and offered Betty White a cup of tea & left with her.

They re-aired highlights from Breaking Point 2009 in which John Cena defeated Randy Orton in an I Quit match. Losing all credibility, Jerry Lawler described it as being possibly one of "the most brutal matches ever" .

Sheamus and Christian vs. The Real Americans was promised for later.

Match 2: In a complete nothing outing, Fandango (w/Summer Rae) pinned Santino (w/Emma) off a Top Rope Leg Drop. The Miz came out briefly at the announce table again, complaining that these two idiots were booked on RAW but not him.

Byron Saxton was introduced to the broadcast team. He interviewed Sheamus in his locker room. Sheamus said he and Christian have been good friends and even better enemies, but he's always respected him, therefore has no problems teaming with him tonight. He may even ask Christian to come for a pint and celebrate. Then again 'An Irishman and a Canadian walk into a bar' sounds like the start of a bad joke. Sheamus said one thing that isn't a joke is the Elimination Chamber.

Christian, sporting a cut under his eye, did a very old school in-set promo vowing victory in the Chamber. Layfield then mocked as if Christian could ever be the face of the company.

Hour 2

Zeb Colter said Sheamus and Christian make him sick; they both went back to their God forsaken countries and, like the majority of people in the building tonight, they found a way to sneak back into the country. They were then rewarded by getting an opportunity to win the WWE title. Ceasro took the microphone and said it's not going to matter anyway as he will become the first Real American WWE Champion in the Chamber.

Match 3: Sheamus and Christian defeated The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) when Sheamus nailed Jack Swagger with the Brogue Kick. The crowd were pro Cesaro.

Renee Young interviewed John Cena backstage. Cena said that for a decade both he and Randy Orton have dominated the WWE. However you can listen to the WWE Universe and tell that the WWE is on the verge of change, with Daniel Bryan and a bunch of other new WWE superstars. Cena said the match tonight with Orton was about their future, as they close their rivalry once and for all. Cena said after the match he'll have sent a message to the WWE stars of the future; that if they want it they'll have to go through him first.

Taken from the WWE YouTube account, we got "30 Second Fury with Batista". This even featured porn music in the background.

They recapped Batista's confrontation with Batista from last week's RAW.

Match 4: Alberto Del Rio pinned non-entity Dolph Ziggler with a kick to the face in 1:30.

After the match Del Rio applied the Cross Arm Breaker to Ziggler until Batista ran down to the make the save. After Spearing Del Rio to a chorus of boos from the crowd, Del Rio was sent into the steps & tossed into the retaining wall. Batista then tore the announce table apart, trashed a few monitors, and Power Bombed Del Rio through the table.

The Bellas', dressed as trolley dollies, told us in a video what we needed to do to be able to watch the WWE Network on our televisions.

Batista was walking backstage when Triple H approached him. Hunter said it was great to have him back, but he couldn't have him going off like he did. Batista said Del Rio deserved it. HHH reminded Batista that WWE is a publicly traded company now and things have changed. Batista vs. Alberto Del Rio was made for Elimination Chamber. Triple H said he was just looking out for him, leading Batista to reply that by the looks of it things really have changed around here. Mr tight underpants then stormed off back down the hall.

Lita was announced as the 3rd inductee into the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame.

The Outlaws were backstage in the RAW office having tea with Betty White. They put something in her drink. Betty then asked for some lemon in her tea, leading the Outlaws to both briefly leave, allowing Betty to swap the cups around & Billy Gunn take what was presumably laxative.

Back from commercial, Jerry Lawler apologised for mistakenly saying Road Dogg had drank the spiked tea. Cole then appologised for getting the dates wrong on the free 1 week trial of the WWE Network. The cameras then panned back to reveal The Outlaws were sat there for commentary. Billy Gunn clutched his stomach. This was totally ridiculous, as clearly they would have just heard the announcers talking about Lawler getting it wrong.

Match 5: The Usos defeated Ryback and Curtis Axel when Axel was pinned with a Big Splash off the top. Ryback looked like he may have legitimately hurt himself after getting his hand/wrist caught up in the turnbuckles. Following the match Billy Shitpants ran off holding his arse.

Hour 3

Match 6: In an open challenge by Dean Ambrose (w/The Shield) to defend the United States Championship, Mark Henry accepted. The match ended in a DQ when Seth Rollins entered the ring and attacked Henry. Henry briefly got the upper hand but was ultimately taken out with a Spear on the outside by Roman Reigns. The Wyatt Family then came out. After a long, tense face-off with The Shield, The Wyatt Family backed off.

Wiz Khalifa was shown in the crowd. Huge fan. (never heard of him)

They aired a package on Bobo Brazil in honour of Black History Month.

Match 7: In gooseberry fool tag action, Cameron and The Bellas defeated AJ Lee, Alicia Fox and Aksana after Cameron hit a DDT on Aksana.

Worth noting the CM Punk chants tonight have been brief and very sporadic.

Aleksandar Rusev & his interpretor/valet said some stuff on tape.

They recapped the opening segment.

I used some match sticks to prop my eyes open.

Kane, looking like a Labour MP wearing a red tie, came out. He said he has been placed on one week's leave, but accepts his punishment as his actions last week were ill advised. Daniel Bryan came out. With the crowd going wild, both men got into it in and out of the ring. Kane was then sent over the barricade and made his escape through the crowd. Bryan led the crowd in chanting "YES!".

Randy Orton vs. Antonio Cesaro was announced for SmackDown along with an 8 man tag involving Cody Rhodes, Goldust & The Uso Brothers against Curtis Axel, Ryback & The New Age Outlaws.

Betty White said she hasn't been with this many shirtless men in tight pants since...last night. She thanked everyone for a great night.

Main Event: John Cena vs. Randy Ort..Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Huh? Oh. Right. They came back from commercial break and the crowd were chanting "boring". At one point Randy Orton hit a Draping DDT off the top turnbuckle rather than the second rope, which lead him to turn to the crowd and shout "how's that for same old shi"

Over-run

John Cena pinned Randy Orton in a non-title match with the AA. Cena celebrated to take RAW off the air!

Hour 1

The final RAW before the Elimination Chamber crashed onto the airwaves with John Cena making his way out. He was wearing yet another new shirt. He went through what to expect in the Chamber match. He said the only person with no momentum heading into Sunday was thumb sucker Randy Orton; Orton's been beaten by Daniel Bryan and himself. Cena said the odds are we will see a brand new champion on Sunday. Antonio Cesaro, accompanied by Zeb Colter, interrupted. Colter said everyone is looking at the next champion in Cesero. Cersaro took the microphone and said John Cena isn't the only one who has defeated Randy, and come Sunday he will become WWE Champion. And not just the new face of the WWE, but the new face of America. Cena congratulated Cesaro, however he said that doesn't mean Cesaro is on a winning streak, rather Orton is on a losing streak. Also on Sunday Cesaro will have to face multiple opponents, so he shouldn't write cheques his body can't cash This then brought out Sheamus. Sheamus said he has been in the Chamber twice, and that on Sunday both Cena and Cesaro's face's will look funny after he kicks their faces in with the Brogue Kick. Christian then came out. Oh God it's one of those 'everyone interrupts' segments. Christian said maybe Sheamus should have saved his Brogue Kick for Dean Ambrose on SmackDown, but he understands it was a mistake. What he does at Elimination Chamber to Sheamus however won't be an accident. Out came WWE Champion Randy Orton. Orton said he would like to thank The Authority for giving him the opportunity to beat all of them on Sunday. Orton ran everyone down saying he was going to beat them all when it mattered, and tonight Sheamus wasn't going to get anywhere close to his face. Finally out came Daniel Bryan. Crowd chanted "YES!". Bryan said the crowd was doing all the talking for him. Bryan said everyone already knows what Sunday leads to, pointing at the WRESTLEMANIA sign hanging above the crowd. No one will be talking about them, rather everyone will be chanting one word "YES!". The stage then exploded in fire, bringing out Kane. So much for finally. He said now he has their attention, The Authority have given him the opportunity to rectify his mistakes by putting him in sole charge tonight. Crowd chanted "YOU SOLD OUT!". Kane said in fairness to the WWE Champion, everyone will be wrestling tonight. Cesaro will take on John Cena; Christian against Daniel Bryan. And he'll be ringside for the latter, as they'll be squaring off...RIGHT NOW.

Mark Henry vs. Roman Reigns; and Los Matadores vs. The Wyatt Family was announced for later.

Prior to the match Christian nailed Daniel Bryan from behind as Bryan was distracted by Kane on the outside. Christian then went to work on Bryan at ringside and sent him into the ring steps as we headed to commericial.

Match 1: Daniel Bryan defeated Christian with a roll up at 11:00.

Following the match Kane took the microphone and said he neglected to tell Bryan that following his "hard fart victory" against Christian he still has one more match against...him.

Match 2: Daniel Bryan defeated Corporate Kane by Disqualification when Kane refused to release a hold on Bryan's back and shoulder around the ring post. After the match, Kane continued to beat up Bryan around ringside, and then booted his arm into the steel stairs.

Renee Young interviewed The Shield Backstage. Ambrose said he was surprised Mark Henry even showed up tonight after the beating he gave him last week. Reigns interjected and asked what Ambrose was talking about as he lost. Ambrose said he 'softened him up a little bit'. Renee said The Shield need to get on the same page. Rollins claimed that they are always on the same page. Ambrose said Bray Wyatt and his little family are nothing more than an illusion and their mind games won't work because The Shield is real.

Match 3: Fandango (w/Summer Rae) pinned Santino (w/Emma). Emma and Santino teased kissing on the outside but before they could do so Santino was nailed with a sliding dropkick.

Mark Henry was shown storming down the corridor when he was stopped by Renee Young. She asked Henry how he was going to fair tonight in his match. An annoyed Henry sharply asked her how does she think he will fair. Tonight wasn't about winning or losing, it was about inducting Reigns into the Hall of Pain.

Hour 2

Match 4: Roman Reigns (w/The Shield) pinned Mark Henry off the Spear at 3:00. After the match an agitated Ambrose, clearly peeved Reigns had managed to dispatch of Henry with such ease, then took his frustrations out on Henry and put the boots to him in and out of the ring. Reigns looked on in bemusement and told Ambrose "that was weak".

The lights then went out in the building and The Wyatt Family appeared on the Tron. Bray was singing "I've got the joy, joy, joy...down in my heart." He said he had a 'child-like excitement' building up. Luke Harper asked whether The Shield were willing to die for this. Bray continued "Because if you are not, you've already lost". Reigns grabbed a microphone and asked them to come out to the ring and "talk that noise". Bray said funny he should mention that as they were thinking the exact same thing. The Wyatt's entrance music filled the arena & all three made their way to the ring. The Shield and the Wyatt's once again teased facing off, this time face-to-face in the ring, but just like last week the Wyatt's once again retreated.

Cody Rhodes was backstage in his locker room playing with the new WWE Stack Down toys (think WWE does lego) when Goldust walked in for the forced product placement segment of the week. #BadNewsBarrett stepped in and said he had some bad news, before kicking the toys off the table and all over the floor. Cody said not to worry as they could be rebuilt.

Match 5: Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter) defeated Kofi Kingston with the Patriot Ankle Lock submission. Following the match WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E came out and interrupted Swagger's victory celebrations.

Match 6: Big E beat Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal in a Handicap match after dropping both men with the Big Ending. Zeb Colter spent the whole match antagonising Big E on the microphone. After the match Big E said come Sunday Colter's mouth won't be the only thing full of crap.

Alexander Rusev and his valet/translator cut a pre-taped promo.

We got a video package on Ron Simmons in celebration of Black History Month.

They aired a video package on the Elimination Chamber match.

Renee Young interviewed John Cena backstage. Yes, him again. Cena said last week he made a bold statement to the roster; it's filled with promising young superstars, however if they have what it takes to be the next generation, then they will go through him first. Tonight, we see what Cesaro is made of.

Match 7: John Cena pinned Cesaro (w/Zeb Colter) with the AA at 20:00 in a great match with an unconvincing & frustrating finish. Despite Cesaro hitting Cena with everything - including the Cesaro Swing - all it took was a clothesline and the AA for Cena to get the job done.

Hour 3

We got an Abraham Lincoln Quote.

Randy Orton was backstage talking to Triple H. Orton said he appreciates everything Hunter and Stephanie has done for him. Hunter said he was beginning to think the pressure was getting to him; yeah he was beaten by John Cena, Cesaro and Bryan, but at least Orton is trying. Orton told Hunter that he appreciates everything he has done for him in the past, and everything that he will do for him in the future. Orton then moved onto Batista, asking Triple H if he could really see someone like him as the face of the WWE. Orton said he and Triple H carried him throughout the entirety of Evolution. Of course as Orton was saying all this, Batista was standing right behind him. Batista said Orton isn't the face of the WWE...but the ass. As Orton made his exit, Alerbto Del Rio - wearing a neck brace - confronted Batista. Del Rio said Batista was nothing but an animal, whereas he is a man. Del Rio said he hopes Batista isn't planning to use his arms at WrestleMania because on Sunday he is going to break and then rip them off. Batista then shoved Del Rio into some backstage crap, as Triple H looked on & motioned for Batista to cool it.

Renee Young at the interview position announced Titus O Neil will face Darren Young on PPV. They then got everyone up to speed on what's been taking place between the two on SmackDown. She was then about to introduce Titus O Neal when he cut her off and said he doesn't need one. He said he came to WWE to be champion but Darren Young was holding him back. He asked Renee if she knows how to spell champion. Renee started to spell it, but Titus cut her off and said it's spelled "T-I-T-U-S". Titus then said that come Elimination Chamber the road block to the title that is Darren Young will be run over.

Match 8: The Wyatt Family defeated The Matadores and Sin Cara (w/El Torito) in a poor six man tag in front of a disinterested crowd.

Back from commercial, The Outlaws were in the ring going through their routine. Road Dogg and Jimmy Uso made their way to commentary. It was announced The Uso Brothers will challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship at the Elimination Chamber on Sunday.

Match 9: Jay Uso rolled-up Billy Gunn for the pin after countering a Fame-Asser. During the closing few seconds of the match a very loud "CM Punk" chant broke out.

Byron Saxton interviewed Sheamus in his locker room. Sheamus said he can taste the main event of Mania and it tastes better than the black stuff. He said he has an antidote to The Viper, and that was some good old fashioned blunt force trauma, Irish style.

Franklin D Roosevelt Quote to celebrate Presidents Day.

Christian vs. Sheamus was announced for SmackDown.

Over-run

Main Event: WWE Champion Randy Orton vs Sheamus ended in Disqualification when The Shield ran in and attacked Sheamus. John Cena, followed by Daniel Bryan and then all of the Chamber match participants ran in. The Shield and The Wyatt Family then finally got into it, as everyone brawled to take RAW off the air!

Just a show ahead of next Monday's monster RAW.

Hour 1

What promises to be one of the most memorable RAW's of 2014 opened with the return of HULKAMANIA to WWE. Hulk Hogan made his way out to a big reaction & proceeded to milk it for all it was worth for 5 minutes, as the crowd rained down with a "HOGAN! HOGAN" chant. The commentators gave him a standing ovation. "Well, let me tell you something, brother!" (were you really expecting anything else?). Hogan said tonight officially marks the turning point of his career as he is officially home. Hogan said 30 years ago history was made with WrestleMania, and tonight history is made again with "the launch of the WWE Universe." Immediately realising he had ballsed that right up, Hogan attempted to make the save with "The WWE Universe is launching the WWE Network." Hogan said the Hulkamaniacs were a big part in the launch of the Network, and we'll now be able to see matches involving Bruno Sammartino, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, and The Rock (who received a pretty pathetic reaction from the crowd). Hogan said the most important thing is the future of the WWE Network, and the future is Wrestlemania XXX. Therefore he is proud to announce he will be the official host of WrestleMania. So that leaves one question: "Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania, the WWE Network, and WrestleMania 30 runs wild on you?". Real American filled the arena once more as the cameras shot back to the announce table.

The commentators plugged the WWE Network. Jerry Lawler hunted down WrestleMania 1, while JBL sought out his old matches.

They announced Kane vs. Daniel Bryan for later.

They said according to rumours Brock Lesnar is expected on RAW tonight.

Up next, Batista will take on Ablerto Del Rio in a rematch from last night's Elimination Chamber.

Match 1: Alberto Del Rio defeated Dave Batista in a repeat of last night's crappy encounter when WWE Champion Randy Orton walked onto the stage and distracted Batista, allowing Del Rio to roll him up for the pin. The commentators spent the match discussing the crowd reaction to Batista, and whether the negative reaction was going to get to him. Jerry Lawler said the negative response stemmed from the Royal Rumble match, with fans expecting Daniel Bryan and then being upset that he wasn't even in it.

After the match Randy Orton cut a promo on Batista. Orton said ever since Evolution Batista has been easily distracted. Orton noted how he couldn't fail to notice that the crowd don't seem to like Batista very much. Orton then questioned if Batista is now regretting even coming back. Crowd decided this was the opportune time to start chanting for "CM Punk" at the top of their lungs. Batista took a microphone and told Orton that he couldn't be more wrong, telling him and everyone else that they need to get it through their heads that "I. Love. This. Business." Batista said he loves that the crowd have a voice, but then so does he. They boo, then he boos back. Batista, gobbing everywhere as he spoke, says that is called honesty, something Randy Orton knows nothing about. Batista said Orton and everyone else is going to have to deal with the fact that he is going to be the next WWE Champion. Crowd booed.

The Real Americans and Big E were shown walking backstage heading towards the ring for action.

Match 2: WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E defeated Cesaro (w/Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter) in a non-title match when Jack Swagger got in the ring and applied the Ankle Lock on Big E blatantly in front of the referee. Cesaro and Swagger then got into a verbal altercation in the ring, allowing Big E to come-to and attack Swagger. Big E was quickly overpowered and Cesaro planted Big E with the Neutraliser. Swagger then apologised to Cesaro for costing him the match.

They recapped the closing moments of the Elimination Chamber match when the Wyatt's interfered and attacked John Cena. They announced Cena would address the situation next.

John Cena made his way out to the ring in his usual 'I'm happy as Larry Cena' state. Cena said for the WWE fan in him it was great to have the Hulkster back. Cena said tonight, episode 1083 of RAW, is the day the world changed; the WWE Network is Live which means our future is now. Cena said that for weeks he has been saying that if there are superstars that think they can carry the future of the WWE then they're going to have to go through him to prove it.

Hour 2

Cena said some people have mixed emotions with that - some like it, some don't. Cena said that when you talk bold like that, you make yourself a big old target; enter Bray Wyatt, and whether you like him or not, he's caused a stir. Cena said they knew they'd come face-to-face at some point, but he wasn't expecting it to be in the Chamber match. Cena asked if Bray was a one trick pony, or does he want to make another bold move right here tonight. The lights went out in the building, signalling the arrival of the Wyatt Family. Bray sat in his rocking chair in the aisle. He said this world has an infection and a virus and that virus is the human race. Bray got up and asked the crowd what the world would be without its heroes and knights in shining armour to save the day. Bray said people like John Cena are hollow and filled with empty promises, promising the fans that everything will be all right as long as he is around to save the day. Bray then called Cena a liar, as this world is a cold and dark place. Bray claimed Cena stood for illusions, while he stands for what is real. Bray said he couldn't agree more with Cena about superstars having to run through Cena first. Bray formerly introduced himself, saying he is the reaper that will bring death to these lies. Cena responded by saying he's John Cena, and they're starting something they may not be able to finish. All three members entered the ring and Cena was quickly out-muscled and taken down. Cena was selling an injury to his leg. Bray kept pushing The Family back, before then leaving, Cena left hobbling in the ring. With a distraction by Erick Rowan, Bray nailed Cena from behind. Some in the crowd chanted for "CM Punk". Brya knelt beside a fallen Cena and shouted "Follow the Buzzards" to take RAW to commercial.

Cena was shown being stretched out on the WWE App.

Earlier tonight on the débuting WWE RAW Pre-Show, Sheamus and Christian had a verbal altercation backstage. Brad Maddox made a match between the 2.

Match 3: Sheamus defeated Christian after Christian came off the turnbuckle and was caught with the Brogue Kick for the pin at 16:00. Crowd weren't really into this at all.

They aired footage from the WWE RAW Pre-Show of Renee Young interviewing an arriving Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Triple H said today was the biggest day since the first WrestleMania. A furious Daniel Bryan stormed up to them both and demanded a match with Triple H at WrestleMania. Hunter reminded Daniel of that little conversation they had last year about A+ players. He promised Bryan he would try and find a spot on the Mania card for him. Stephanie stepped in and said tonight Bryan will have the opportunity to take out his aggressions on someone who deserves it, that being Kane.

We got a video package on The Soul Patrol (foot fetishist Tony Atlus and Rocky Johnson) in honour of black history month.

The Shield were backstage in an undisclosed location. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were both asking Dean Ambrose where he went in the match last night. Ambrose said he was getting a little sick of the two of them ganging up on him, and having to repeatedly explain himself over and over. Ambrose stormed off as The Wyatt Family stepped in & confronted the two remaining Shield members. Reigns said if Bray was wiling to leave the other two behind, he'd see him in a match tonight on RAW. Bray called him an "interesting creature", before accepting the challenge. The Shield left as Bray just stood there laughing.

We went up to the PPV sports desk, where Josh Mathews was with Ric Flair and Booker T. More from these three on Backstage Pass after RAW on the WWE Network. Flair ended up leading the crowd in a "YES!" chant, which segued nicely into the arrival of Daniel Bryan.

Match 4: Daniel Bryan pinned Kane in 16:00 with a Running Knee.

Hour 3

After the match Daniel Bryan cut a promo on Triple H calling him a coward, who when confronted earlier tonight hid behind his wife's skirt. Bryan once again demanded The Authority listen to the WWE Universe and make the match everyone wants - Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXX. Bryan led the crowd in chanting "YES!".

Summer Rae was shown warming up backstage with Fandango ahead of her match next.

They promoted Batista "Unchained" on SmackDown Friday, where he is apparently going to tell the WWE fans what he really thinks of them. Didn't he do that tonight?

We got a pre-taped promo from Alexander Rusev and his translator/valet.

Match 5: Emma (w/Santino) tapped out Summer Rae with the Emma Lock. Astonishingly JBL on commentary said Emma's dance should be dubbed "The Spastic".

They re-aired Hogan's return from the top of the programme.

Match 6: In another rematch from last night's PPV...well, kind of...The Usos pinned The New Age Outlaws in under a minute with a Big Splash off the top.

Back to the WWE Network, the commentators once again plugged the archive & instructions on how to go about it.

WWE's obsession with Kid Rock continued in a video for WrestleMania XXX, only 41 days away.

Main Event: Bray Wyatt defeated Roman Reigns via Disqualification at 14:00 when it broke down into a The Shield and Wyatt Family brawl in the ring. Ambrose was the one that officially caused the DQ, entering the ring and attacking Bray. The commentators made a big deal of it, The Shield didn't, standing tall to close the segment. Until the closing couple of minutes, the crowd had completely lost all interest in the show and the match by this point, instead opting to chant "Husky Harris", "Jerry! Jerry!", "CM Punk", "Randy Savage" and "Undertaker".

Paul Heyman was backstage with Brock Lesnar. Heyman told him that nobody was going to get hurt and that the plan for tonight was to act like gentleman.

Need for Speed star Aaron Paul will be the guest host of next week's RAW.

They had a black carpet and table set up in the ring. Lesnar and Heyman both made their way out.

Over-run

Paul Heyman said that he understands tonight is an important night for the WWE, but his client is not in a good mood. What with it being apparent to everyone that Randy Orton and Batista should just get their WWE title match out of the way, the winner of that match should go on to face Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. Unfortunately when this was presented to Triple H and Stephanie, they had other ideas, opting to offer Brock Lesnar an open contract to face anyone of his choosing at WrestleMania. Heyman said that this was tantamount to a consolation prize, as what Brock wants the most is to conquer history. Paul said that he has been authorised to decline their offer; Brock will either get the history he wants or Brock Lesnar and WrestleMania will be no more. As they were both about to leave, the bell tolled and out strolled The Undertaker, dressed in Ministry of Assassin's Creed garb. Both men faced off in the ring. Lesnar signed the contract, and then pushed the pen into 'Taker's chest. After a pause, and a "Ooooh" from the crowd, Undertaker then grabbed it and stabbed the pen through Lesnar's hand on the table, before Chokeslamming Lesnar right through the table. With the crowd now chanting "Holy gooseberry fool!", Taker made his way back up the ramp, Michael Cole telling us to turn over to WWE RAW Backstage Pass on the Network.

If you were to start watching the Pre and post shows, RAW is now 4 HOURS. 4 HOURS.

Hour 1

WWE RAW opened with Cult of Personality filling the arena. After a prolonged period Paul Heyman came out and cut a promo on CM Punk, sat cross-legged in the centre of the ring. He said that he was here to tell the story of a Paul Heyman Guy, a Paul Heyman Guy that was never truly wanted in or by WWE. Heyman said he had a pipe-bomb of his own as it pertained to CM Punk...he's not in the building. He conceded that he is just as disappointed as the fans that CM Punk will not be performing in the ring tonight. If CM Punk was here tonight, he would be doing what he always claimed; proving his detractors wrong and proving that he is the Best in the World. However there is a finger to point the blame at for his absence, and that's the fans. He said sometimes the truth hurts and it's much easier just to lie. Heyman said the whole downward spiral started when they could not end the Streak at WrestleMania, and now he wants revenge. Heyman invited Brock Lesnar to the ring. Brock said that unlike other people, he does not make claims that he cannot back up, and he believes The Undertaker attacked him because he is scared to death. Brock said that there have been many who have tried to break the streak, and all have failed; Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and even CM Punk. As Lesnar and Heyman were both heading to the back, Mark Henry made his way out to confront them. Lesnar and Henry both got into it, with Lesnar quickly getting the upper hand of the situation. Lesnar then started tearing apart the announce table, launching one monitor all the way across the ring. By the crowd reaction it may have landed in the crowd itself. Lesnar then put Henry through the table with an F5.

The New Age Outlaws vs The Usos for the Tag Team Championship is up next.

The Outlaws came out. They were about to go through their usual routine when Road Dogg said Chi-Town wasn't worthy of his catchphrases.

Match 1: The Usos defeated The New Age Outlaws to capture the Tag Team Championship after Jay Uso nailed Billy Gunn with a Splash off the top rope.

We got a clip from the new Need For Speed movie. The cameras then cut backstage to reveal The Bellas' & others watching it. Some forced chat took place. Aksana said she'd like to ride with Aaron Paul. The other Divas' asked her what she meant. She replied by saying she likes fast cars. HUMOUR.

Match 2: Big E. defeated Cesaro via Disqualification when Jack Swagger ran in and attacked Big E. As Cesaro and Swagger argued, Big E awoke and dropped Cesaro with the Big Ending. To boos. The production crew spent the course of the match fixing the broken announce table. This reminded me of when Jim Ross had his own announce table built during a RAW IS WAR in 1999.

Hour 2

Match 3: In an extremely exciting six man tag, The Wyatt Family defeated The Shield when Seth Rollins walked out on his team and instead opted to watch on from the ramp. Bray Wyatt hit Dean Ambrose with Sister Abigail for the pin.

Renee Young interviewed Batista backstage. He said the "YES! movement" was one of the dumbest things he's ever seen in his life. He said the WWE Univserse have spent too much time reading too many comics and watching too many movies that they think someone like Daniel Bryan can become WWE Champion. That's a fantasy, not real. The crowd continued to chant "CM Punk" in the background.

The New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos in a Championship rematch was announced for WWE Main Event, airing Live tomorrow night exclusively on the WWE Network.

Match 4: Santino and Emma beat Fandango & Summer Rae when Emma applied the #EMMALOCK to Rae. Crowd chanted "We Want Ziggler" during the match.

The announcers took a pop at Jim "Stone Cold" Ross' commentary, comparing it to Vince McMahon.

Match 5: In a passable outing Sheamus pinned Christian with a Brogue Kick off the apron. Crowd once again made their voices heard for "CM Punk", along with a smattering of "This is awful" and "boring" chants.

It was announced John Cena will address Bray Wyatt and his family later tonight.

Sheamus was interviewed by Renee Young backstage & was promptly jumped from behind by Christian. He then nailed him with a lamp as referees interjected.

Match 6: The Bellas defeated Aksana and Alicia Fox. Aksana had better be saving her cash...

Daniel Bryan was shown walking down a corridor, in action NEXT.

We got a trailer for Sirens on USA Network. The stars were shown in the front row.

Hour 3

Daniel Bryan came out to a monster ovation. Bryan said that this is what he likes to hear, as the people in Chicago understood that the fans have a voice, and that tonight they were going to hijack RAW. Crowd chanted "YES!". Bryan said he wasn't going to leave the ring until 1 of 2 things happened, as the crowd broke out into yet another Punk chant; either Batista comes out or Triple H comes out and accepts his challenge for WrestleMania. Crowd chanted "NO!". King of Kings hit and out walked a grinning Stephanie McMahon and a smirking Triple H. Stephanie said she admired Bryan's tenacity. Crowd booed her out of the building. Bryan completely ignored her and went straight to Hunter, saying he wasn't going to let this rest. Every time he's about to capture the title, something happens. Yet here he stands unbroken with the crowd behind him. Triple H appeared to have his hands down the front of his trousers. No, really. Triple H said a match with Bryan isn't going to happen. Hunter asked what it was with this current generation and just being incapable to accept their failures. Crowd were booing like crazy now. Hunter said this is more like the excuses or blame era; no-one in this era that didn't make it always opts to blame everyone else and make excuses, like "They held me down", "They screwed me over", "They buried me". Crowd chanted CM Punk at the top of their lungs. Hunter said that anyone that has failed in WWE was simply not good enough; 'that's the reality'. HHH said Bryan is simple a B+ player, and while that angers some, B+ is pretty damn good, and certainly better than the fans in the building. Hunter told Bryan that it's going to take more than a B+ player for him to lace up his boots. Crowd chanted "ASSHOLE". Bryan responded by saying the fans can see it's his time. Hunter comes outs and keeps saying what is supposedly 'best for business' and what's best for the WWE Universe, but they don't listen or want people like himself to succeed. The only way we'll get to see that is if Triple H gets the crap beaten out of him. Stephanie questioned why they should listen to a "sea of inadequacy". Stephanie said the fans will turn on a dime, and the only people that won't is The Authority. She said that it's intoxicating hearing people chant your name, especially where Bryan came from. She continued that when you think about it, without the McMahon's Bryan would have nothing, and that everything in the WWE is provided by the McMahon family. Without them they wouldn't have the YES T shirts and Bryan wouldn't have his underdog persona. Stephanie said they made Bryan. Crowd chanted "Daniel Bryan". Bryan responded by saying Stephanie's delusions of self importance was admiral, so how about she put on Hunter's trunks, Hunter can put on her skirt, and then Triple H can sit back at Mania and watch his wife wrestle instead. Triple H said he was 90% sure she'd whip his ass too. HHH said this wasn't grade school, therefore wasn't going to take that bate. 'Your little match at Mania isn't going to happen, get over it'. Mania is the showcase of the immortals, and as hard as it may be for Bryan to swallow, he just doesn't measure up. Triple H then demanded Bryan get out of their ring. Bryan said this isn't their ring. Stephanie chipped in saying "it is actually". Bryan said it belonged to the fans. Triple H clarified for everyone that, everything in the arena, including the fans and Bryan, belong to the McMahon's. He once again ordered Bryan to get the hell out of it. Bryan demanded Triple H make him. Stephanie ordered Kane down to the ring. Bryan spent no time in attacking Kane, as Stephanie called for security to come down to the ring. Referees ran down first but weren't able to hold him back. Security finally arrived and ordered Bryan to the back. Crowd chanted "Daniel Bryan". This felt very Steve Austin right at the end, with Bryan standing on the ramp looking down on security holding off the pass.

They replayed the opening brawl between Lesnar and Henry.

The announcers plugged the Network. They went up to the Sports Desk, with the RAW panel Booker T, Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Alex Riley.

Aaron Paul drove a Shelby Mustang into the building, with Dolph Ziggler in the passenger seat. Aaron Paul sat in on commentary. Oddly enough he didn't ask how much either wrestler weighed.

Match 8: Dolph Ziggler pinned Alberto Del Rio when Del Rio was distracted by Aaron Paul who got up on the announce table.

Paul Bearer was revealed as the 4th inductee into the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame.

Match 9: Big E defeated Jack Swagger by Disqualification in 2 seconds when Cesaro immediately got in the ring and planted Big E with the Neutraliser.

After the match, Cesaro and Swagger got into a shoving match. Cesaro then tackled Swagger to the canvas and was about to put him in the Cesaro Swing when Zeb Colter stepped in and convinced him otherwise. Cooler heads prevailed and Cesaro and Swagger forcibly hugged it out.

John Cena made his way out to, SURPRISE, a mixed reception. Well, mostly negative. Crowd immediately started chanting for Punk. Doctor's ordered he will not be having a match tonight. Crowd chanted "YES!". Cena said he was going to take that as their way of telling him to get well soon. Crowd once again chanted for "CM Punk". Cena said he wanted to come out to feel the energy and passion of an entire city. He said he has been listening to this whole hijack business and he understands the WWE Universe wants change. He respects that, but change will have to go through him first. If Bray thinks he's in the drivers seat after last week then he's dead wrong. Cena said he is in the same place as he was in 2002 when his career started: The All State Arena. The lights went out and the Wyatt family appeared on the Tron. Bray said Cena had built this empire all around himself, but can he feel the people; Bray said Cena reminds him of a thoroughbred horse; He wins and they just cheer for him. The this championship horse starts to slow down and reality starts to set in. Now in the back of a barn he is laid out on a slab. When will Cena's reality set in, as how long can he fend them off. Brya said he is going to put Cena down, and he knows what Cena is really affraid of, and that's being left atop his castle all alone.

Batista was shown heading towards the ring when he walked into Randy Orton. Orton told him he simply wants to wish Batista the best of luck.

Alexada Rusev's translator came out and demanded everyone rise for the Bulgarian brute. Rusev came out and cut a short promo in Bulgarian, which was greeted with "What".

They got a clip of Hulk Hogan on the Today Show on NBC. They announced Hogan will be on the show next week with a big WrestleMania XXX announcement.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton came out & sat in a chair watching the match from ringside.

Over-run

[which included a commercial break at 11:05]

Main Event: Daniel Bryan vs. Batista ended in the third Disqualification of the night when Randy Orton ran in and attacked Daniel Bryan, after Batista had intentionally thrown Bryan into him on the outside. Randy Orton was about to hit Batista with an RKO but Batista reversed and Orton walked straight into a Running Knee. Bryan then dropped Kane off the apron, sending him crashing into Triple H on the outside. Batista clocked Bryan with a Spear. Kane got back in the ring & was about to put the beating on Bryan but was held back by Triple H. Hunter grabbed a microphone and leant over Bryan, telling him he had had enough of all his crap. As he did so however, Bryan struck Triple H with a kick to the head. Batista picked up Bryan and put him down with a Batista Bomb. A groggy Triple H got himself together and then planted Bryan with a Pedigree, completely deflating the crowd. With Kane, Stephanie mockingly doing the "YES" chant, and Triple H all standing over a fallen Bryan, King of Kings signalled the close of a very eventful RAW, sans Punk...and The Undertaker.

WWE RAW Results March 10th 2014 wrote:Image

Location: Memphis
Commentary: Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler and John "Bradshaw" Layfield

Hour 1

[START MISSED DUE TO RAW STARTING AN HOUR EARLY UK TIME]

- Hulk Hogan announced 30 superstars would compete in the first ever Andre The Giant Memorial Cup Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX.

Match 1: John Cena defeated Erik Rowan with a roll-up in 3:00. After the match, Hogan & Cena posed for the crowd.

Christian vs. Sheamus was announced for later, with fans choosing the stipulation on the WWE App out of Falls Count Anywhere, 2 out of 3 Falls and Memphis Street Fight.

They announced Big Show and Daniel Bryan vs. Batista and Randy Orton in the main event; and the return of The Undertaker.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were shown walking backstage heading to the ring.

Back from commercial, The Authority came out on the stage. Stephanie said what Bryan did last week in attacking her husband was grounds for dismissal. However they concede there is a little "value" in the Bryan brand and that he has a 'minor' following, therefore Bryan will not be fired tonight. Stephanie said with one condition - Bryan will have to apologise to them both later tonight. This brought out The New Age Outlaws who, after shaking hands with Stephanie and Triple H, made their way down for commentary.

Match 2: Tag Team Champions The Usos defeated Ryback and Curtis Axel in a non-title outing when Jay Uso nailed Axel with a Big Splash off the top for the pin.

Ryback cut an inset promo inserting himself into the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania.

Kane was in the RAW Office with The Shield. Kane was unhappy that they aired their dirty laundry on Smackdown in an unprofessional manner. Therefore tonight he is going to light a fire under the three of them to see if they are still a valuable asset or are now disposable. Kane said he noticed the first cracks start to show when Seth and Roman lost the tag straps to the Rhodes Brothers, therefore they will have the opportunity to exorcise their demons tonight when Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns face The Rhodes' Brothers once more. Seth stepped in and asked Kane if he was trying to deflect the fact that he lost to Daniel Bryan on Main Event and then got Knocked Out on SmackDown thanks to Big Show. Dean says that they will step up like they always do and they will exorcise their demon. Reigns got in the face of Kane and told him that they will get rid of any demon that gets in their way.

Big E cut an inset promo about the 30 man Mania Battle Royal and how much it would mean to him if he raised the Trophy.

Match 3: In a non-title match Intercontinental Champion Big E pinned Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter and Cesaro) with a roll-up when Swagger was jaw jacking with Cesaro on the outside. After the match Cesaro and Swagger got into a face-to-face argument on the outside. Zeb Colter demanded they both shake hands. After much persuading they did, however Cesaro then wouldn't let go and squeezed Swagger's hand.

Hour 2

The bell tolled on the hour precisely to signal the arrival of The Undertaker. Before Undertaker could say a word, Paul Heyman appeared on the stage. Paul nervously apologised for interrupting Undertaker's train of thought. Heyman said he was out there to convince 'Taker to preserve the greatest streak in sports, entertainment, & sports entertainment. He said so many people casually throw out the 21-0 figure that it trivialises the accomplishment; Shawn Michaels never won two WrestleMania matches in a row, Triple H got to two, Hogan three, and Stone Cold (who got a big reaction from the crowd) & John Cena tied at 4. Heyman said Undertaker has had 21 consecutive victories in 21 matches, which is when "a man becomes a myth, a myth becomes a legend and a legend becomes a deity". Heyman said he admits that while Lesnar is stepping into the unknown at XXX, so is Undertaker. But in the end The Streak will be conquered by Brock Lesnar. Undertaker took the microphone and asked Heyman to send a message to his client: 'The fear of death is far greater than the death itself but the fear of the unknown is the greatest fear of all.' Taker told Heyman to tell Lesnar that if he shows up in New Orleans, he will "Rest. In. Peace." Heyman stood there looking like he was going to burst into tears.

Natalya vs. AJ Lee for the Divas' Championship and Dean Ambrose vs. Mark Henry for the United States Championship was announced for Main Event tomorrow night, Live on the WWE Network.

Match 4: Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes and Goldust when Seth Rollins nailed Cody with a running foot stomp to the back of the head and into the canvas. The Shield were all on the same page at the end of the match. A half-hearted "CM Punk" chant broke out but quickly died out.

Natalya was on commentary.

Match 5: Bellas' defeated Tamina and AJ Lee when Nikki Pinned AJ Lee. After the match Nikki posed over AJ with the Divas belt.

Renee Young interviewed LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell in the front row, who were there to promote NCIS Los Angeles which is repeated prior to WWE RAW on USA Network. These two didn't appear to stick around.

We got a recap of Hogan and John Cena from the top of the broadcast. John Cena challenged Bray Wyatt to a match at WrestleMania.

Daniel Bryan came out & asked the crowd whether they thought Stephanie was being sincere earlier. Crowd responded with "No!". Bryan said The Authority wants to scare him into apologising but if Triple H wants to put his hands on him then he's not going to back down, he's going to fight. If Hunter wants him to apologise for standing up for himself, he's got one word for him "NO!". Bryan proclaimed that tonight is where it ends, as everyone is tired of Triple H; tonight the "Yes movement" is in full effect, and tonight everyone is going to "occupy " RAW. Bryan then refused to leave the ring. Bryan said he knows we've all heard that a lot over the years, but tonight he's going to fill the entire building with the yes movement. Bryan said he gets that it's unlawful, but he spoke to some members of the yes movement earlier today & he wants to invite them all into the ring. A load of fans - and by the looks of things they really were fans - wearing Daniel Bryan T-Shirts then entered the ring as we crashed to break.

Hour 3

Back from commercial, around 50 fans were now in and around the ring (that number would then grow to "hundreds" when relayed by the announcers later on). Triple H and Stephanie McMahon stormed out. Triple H demanded the fans had 30 seconds to leave the ring or he was sending security in. Bryan responded by telling the crowd to leave the building and they'll just have the show in the parking lot and the McMahon's would just be left with a building full of empty seats. They sent two security guards down to ringside. Bryan sarcastically said "Uh oh, all two of them!". The guards walked down to the ring, looked at the mass, and turned straight back around and told Steph and Hunter that there was nothing they could do. Steph shouted that everyone is being manipulated by Daniel Bryan, who is wrapped up in his own personal power trip. Steph asked if Bryan was really worth it. Those arsehats over at Sky decided to do their thing of updating the box at this point because it's what they do now. Triple H apparently agreed to a match with Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania. Daniel Bryan then convinced Triple H to add the stipulation that if he is successful the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at Mania between Batista and Randy Orton will then become a Triple Threat match involving Daniel Bryan.

In the ring Jerry Lawler, wearing the most ridiculous tuxedo T-Shirt you've ever seen in your life, revealed 67% of fans on the App had voted for a Street Fight. Lawler made reference to Hardcore Holly vs. Al Snow from St. Valentines Day Massacre which ended up in the Mississippi River.

Musical instruments were placed around ringside.

Match 6: In a weapons strewn encounter, Sheamus pinned Christian after Brogue Kicking him through a drum. The welts on these two afterwards was something else.

The announcers guided us through how we could go about claiming the 1 week free trial of the WWE Network.

Backstage, RAW GM Brad Maddox was in the office explaining to Batista that "nobody saw this coming". Randy Orton stormed in. Brad told them both Triple H and Stephanie had left the arena. Randy Orton said he was willing to make their match tonight work if Batista was. Batista just looked at him, smirked, and stormed off.

Alexander Rusev came out, stood on a podium, and cut a promo in Bulgarian. Or Russian according to JBL. Look, don't ask me... #IGNORANCE.

They recapped Hogan's announcement from the top of the show. As they were airing the video the lights went out and The Wyatt Family interrupted on the Tron. Bray asked if John could see himself in Hogan; two men so self absorbed they can't let it go. Bray said it would take a lot for Cena to admit he's every bit the monster he is. At WrestleMania XXX, he accepts the challenge for a match. Bray said Cena needs to remember Cena is the one with everything to lose as his time is up.

Corporate Kane vs. Big Show was made for SmackDown.

There was an amusing "HI MOM, I'M WHITE TRASH" sign in the crowd.

Over-run

Main Event: Big Show and Daniel Bryan defeated WWE Champion Randy Orton and Batista in 13:00 after Bryan hit Orton with a Running Knee for the pin. During the match Batista accidentally Speared Orton. Bryan celebrated to take RAW off the air!
