The first of the two pieces of Xbox 360-exclusive downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV will add approximately 15 hours of gameplay to the 360 version when it hits this November, according to an unconfirmed report from web comic RPG-TV.

Allegedly sourcing a Microsoft London representative, writer Chris Thomas further claims that the new Xbox 360 dashboard--packing an updated look, game install support and Netflix streaming--is likewise slated to arrive in November.

Both Microsoft and Rockstar Games have remained mum on the details of the exclusive GTA 4 DLC, only confirming that it will arrive this fall. Likewise, Microsoft has only officially stated that the new Xbox dashboard will hit in the fall.

Shacknews has contacted Microsoft for clarification and confirmation of these details, but had yet to hear back as of this writing.

Tha's all well and good but I STILL haven't finished the story in GTA and not that I want to since was it was bloody boring. They should be taking a leaf out Burnouts book and giving us new vehicles, new ways to play etc

I really don't think I will bother if it just more story

Anyone know if all of the paid content on the US Marketplace is locked? Could I buy an arcade game from their if I had the points or would it tell me; "sorry, this item is not available in your region"?

Crimson. Not all the US paid for content is locked to their region. You would need to purchase a US points card to get anything. My sis went to the US last year and very kindly bought me a points card, used it on a few arcade games but couldn't use it on movies or tv show purchases. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, that clears up my question. I have about 2000 US points that I got from a competition but they're in 100 point increments and I can only use one code a day. :(

Meteos will not be the same without stylus controls :( But I'll probably get addicted again.

So, Castle Crashers was the last of the summer arcade titles was it not? Any news on next week?

*edit* scratch that, just read it

15 more hours of GTA! Brilliant. :D That's longer than a lot of games on their own! Bet it'll be quite the expensive, though.

I thought Shred Nebula was strawberry floating rubbish, I'm afraid. Most clunky controls ever.

Anyway, I just played Galaga Legions, or as I call it "shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!"

Intense, uber-hardcore stuff, but massively enjoyable with it. Reaching Stage 3 feels like an achievement in itself.

For the 2 puzzle pieces in The Cloud Bridge level?

That one really pissed me off for a good while, what made it worse was that the solution was obvious & I just didn't see it. :|

How have you managed to play it already HOC? It looked ok from the trailer above, altho the ship seems a little loose.

I do like Galaga Legions, need to pratice a bit more tho. Have many here brought it? Wondered how well this update went.

Death Tank Shows Up On ESRB - Being Developed By Original Creator

Image

Hooray, Death Tank has shown up on the ESRB website, with some fantastic news - it's being developed by Snowblind Studos.

Who are Snowblind studios? They're the people behind Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and Justice League Heroes. The most important part is that Mr. Ezra Dreisbach - the original creator behind the classic Sega Saturn Death Tank Zwei, works there. Fantastic news!

XBLA has been pretty amazing recently! Can anyone with a PS3 tell me is PSN as good!? I know they got that ratchet and clank game but is the rest good?

Depends what you want. It certainly offers some different style games in the form of Flow, Pixel Junk Eden, and then you've got full blown games like Siren, Warhawk and Ratchet. The Arcade has more games on offer, but PSN does offer you some quirkyness.

Well, they've got Stardust and stuff, so i'd hazard a guess that it's OK, at least.

PSN isn't nowhere near as good; the only decent games that aren't already on XBLA are Siren, Monsters and possibly for some (though I think it's dire) Eden

oh and IMO as a huge ratchet & Clank fan, then DC is nothing more then a demo you pay £10 for. Ridiculous

A little unfair. In terms of quantity PSN is shocking. Arguably though the quality of what is there is better. Eden, Monsters, numerous PS1 games - they do an ok job and are reasonably priced too.

I prefer XBLA more for the fact that they demand demos that PSN do not always have. Why would I purchase something I had no idea what it was about?
