Is that the one with the row of seats facing inward that dropped through the floor?

I only went on it once, but it was great fun. When the lights dropped and something started brushing the back of our legs, my missus absolutely screamed the place down, it was strawberry floating hilarious.

Yeah that’s the one, you are meant to think one of the eggs has hatched and an alien is loose in the room.

Nice to see some Sub Terra love, it was silly and cheesey (and for some people the effects worked really well).

Oblivion and Nemesis Inferno are great. Tidal Wave is goat for getting wet. Air is also a great ride. Haven't tried Smiler, didn't know they had re-opened it after all its issues.

Air was different last time I went to Alton Towers. The track layout was the same but it had been rebranded as Galactica with a space travel theme and VR headsets.

The VR is a bit pants if I remember right, I prefer to just enjoy the ride without it.

They have removed the VR now.

Year 1 all seats where VR and it took strawberry floating ages to get on and off
Year 2 the queue had a split for VR and non-VR as the train was half and half (front non-VR)

Pretty sure it is now all non-VR as it was a waste of time.

I’m very short sighted to the inability to focus on the image properly made me feel really sick.
