:o . I'm a povvo (non-Prime) customer... they haven't got rid of free postage, have they? Books are free if the order is over a tenner, and all other orders are free if over twenty?

Nine quid? Isn't that for express next day delivery by 1pm?

Barely buy anything from Amazon itself now. Some used CD's, that's about it.

Someone in a nearby garden is mowing their lawn. It's 9:30 in the evening for Christ's sake!

It's quite odd to think what some folk consider as reasonable to do... without thinkng of other people at all.

I've run a router at 10/11pm before :shifty:

I kind of feel like making noise up to 10pm is fine as long as you know the neighbours don't have young children or work shifts. Is this actually unreasonable?

Squinty, we should become neighbours. Hopefully Gecko and Karl would live *at least* three streets away ;) .

9pm - 10pm would be my cutoff before I get pissy with neighbours. I'll allow them up to midnight on Friday/Saturday nights as long as it's not every single weekend.

8pm for phone calls, 9pm for major noise.

The chimney sweeps next door were out pressure washing their car at 10 last night.

The car washing should be nothing compared to the dancing across the roof.

Doing night shifts makes you accept that someone is cutting their lawn at every point in the day.

I'm more annoyed by early morning. List than late night. Cutting your grass at 7am on weekend for example

We've got a girl at work who's realised it's good to drink water. 2l every day from a big measured bottle she carries around. And with constant updates

\o. I'm not keen on getting calls after that time; it's too late for chatting and disturbs my ovaltine-and-biscuit routine.
