Things that annoy you - Now with more than one person moaning

Cheers guys, that's interesting.

My team has three live games on BT in quick succession in a month's time or so, so it made sense for me, especially as it costs no more than I was paying Sky for broadband and phone anyway.

It'd be great if NowTV's Live streaming was in High Definition, or at least 720p. Hopefully that will be introduced this year.

The big thing is the sport though (football, wrestling, NFL, F1 & darts) - though at least Sky's stranglehold on those sports is now being seriously challenged so I would still be able to follow all of them pretty well without Sky. I even found out you can watch all the NFL coverage for £30 a year directly from the NFL which is pretty amazing.

Ordered one of Pizza Hut's £6 pizzas tonight. What a load of strawberry floating gooseberry fool that turned out to be. Took an hour and a half to turn up, had barely any pepperoni, and was stone cold Steve Austin on arrival. Not only were the £2 wedges also cold they were undercooked too. So I had to turn the oven on anyway.

Next time...THERE WON'T BE A NEXT TIME. Should have just gone to Sainsbury's. Could have at least bought a few beers home.

If you go to the restaurant Pizza Hut is usually pretty decent but I've always found their home delivery underwhelming at best.

Add to that the non optional oil slick that goes with Pizza Hut and you have the ingredients for a delicious feast. Not.

The worst takeaway pizza I've had was a Papa Johns, it was really overcooked and had hardly any topping, never again.

Same. So disappointing.

It seems to totally depend on the franchisee. Pot luck really, but considering the prices I think I'll be sticking to a curry from now on.

Can't say I've used Pizza Hut deliveries. The restaurants are decent enough. Always get a good feed.

In the same way that a good fry up is swimming in grease but tasty, I suppose you are right.

Don't you then get to go home two hours before they do, or is that not how it works in your job?

People who sit on the internet all strawberry floating day and then give me a dirtly look when I arrive slightly late and need to get something to eat before starting work.

People at my place who turn up late still always leave bang on time (or slightly early). Really pisses me off seeing that.

And of course there's the smokers who think that because they smoke it somehow gives them an entitlement to way more break time than everyone else, so rather than the 2 15 minute breaks a day they're supposed to get, they bugger off for 10 minutes every hour to have a smoke.

This really used to piss me off when I worked in an office. You'd get someone having a break, then someone else would join them and of course they'd chat, and then some other smoking strawberry floater would join them. We used to have a bi-monthly publication at work that me and a colleague used to contribute to (we managed to turn it from a serious news letter to a Viz style magazine) and I wrote a whole joke article about "chain smoking", based around my perception of smokers in the office.

I actually haven't worked with a smoker for ages. Seriously, it happened when I was on the paper but I left there in 2002.

Maybe PR people just don't have time to smoke.

I imagine it'd be hella annoying, though.

It used to bother me, but I dont really care anymore. They'll die before me.

Im that guy. I arrive at like.. half 9? Eat my breakfast, have a little read of twitter, catch up on my emails and overnight forum activity. Have my coffee. Sit down and get ready to start work at about half 11. But then its too close to lunch so I just have a little chill and start at 1.

Having to provide cover over lunch breaks. Had some meeting up plans made on Thursday. Ended up having to do lunch cover because of a short notice half day my colleague pulled, and then the other guy being an absolute dickhead and not budging on his lunchtime. Had to call the whole thing off.

Absolute banana splits.

The Sunday blues. Also, staying up late Sunday night and then feeling really tired on Monday.

Also going to Neogaf and finding a thread about creepy wikipedia articles.
