When people fish for compliments on social media, I hate that.

Go to work in a sleeveless top, knee length skirt and open shoes then dare anyone to tell you that you can't.

I don't have the body confidence to do that.

aw u r butiful babz. U can pul it of!

I also wish I could express my original opinion without either a) being called a Men's Rights Activist or a "Meninist", or b) being told to cross dress.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

It's not cross-dressing if you bought the skirt :shifty:

To paraphrase Eddie Izzard, "they're not women's dresses, they're my dresses"

This is why men get paid more. We are forced to wear "office clothes" whereas women wear whatever they want. If they want to smash the glass ceiling and get paid the same, then they need to allow us to wear mini skirts and boob tubes.

That was your point, right? :shifty:

I mean, if you've got some reasonably smart shorts you may as well just wear them to work and see what they say. Don't ask for permission, ask for forgiveness.

Don't cry sweetie, you are better than them and I think you look lovely in that pretty summer dress.

If they can't handle you at your sweatiest, they don't deserve you at your not-sweatiest.

The best antonym to "sweaty" you could think of was "not-sweaty"?

I like this but only because I'm a gigantic perv.

Today was glorious.

You could have just left it at "social media". Facebook is just for attention seeking whores.

How click-baity and cringey some some places represent themselves on social media. BBC Sport is a massive offender.

If I order Coke don't bring me Pepsi. They're not interchangeable.
If I order Coke Zero, don't bring me Diet Coke. They're not interchangeable.

I'm not really sure it counts as water based anymore when you remove all nutritional value and replace it with 100% cancer.

It's very rare for food outlets anywhere in the world to serve both as they have contracts with one or the other. So if they serve Pepsi the accompanying drinks will be, say, 7up and Coca Cola will be alongside Sprite.

It doesn't bother me though. Surely if you're that bothered the onus is on you to check the menu.

Some will say "would [insert brand here] be okay instead?"

Right I need a disagreement settled.

In front of our house we have four driveway parking spots marked out, two for us, two for our neighbour on the left of us. They don't have house numbers on indicating they are for us but with the layout the way it is, it is quite obvious.

Anyway, we've come back from a dog walk and found that a car unfamiliar to us has pulled up alongside our car taking our second parking space. The missus is immediately irritated by this and wants to find out whose car it is and get them to move it. My take is that we don't actually need the spot as we only have one car, we aren't expecting any guests, it doesn't inconvenience us at all so leave it. If it starts happening more often then I'd maybe say something but otherwise I'm happy to ignore it.

Suffice to say, she was going to leave a note telling the person not to park there. It was evident that she wasn't going to let it rest so instead I suggested rather than leaving a note, just knock on the neighbours door and ask if they have a guest. If they do and it's there car, that's fine, don't ask them to move it. It ended up belonging to a guest in the neighbours to the right of us and of course she asked them to move it.

We have great relationships with some really friendly neighbours and she's willing to risk annoying them over a strawberry floating irrelevent parking space.

What does GRcade say?
