2 on the driveway so it's no different than if we only had 3 and no driveway. We'd be using the same amount of space.

And that would still be taking the piss for one house.

Discovered that my neighbour (yes, *that* neighbour) has three cars at the moment, with one parked in his own space (it hasn't moved for about three weeks) whilst the other two are always using the visitor spaces. He did have a moped, too, but that seems to have disappeared off the scene recently. How can one guy need four vehicles?

One of the cars has been on their drive for at least a year. Sell the strawberry floating thing if you don't drive it.
The other cars are long so they spread themselves across the road, parking in front of other houses and generally getting in the way. This morning the kid had his car parked right against the edge of my drive when I came out I had to go all the way forward to the pavement then do a stupid jiggle about as I couldn't make the turn left like I normally would.

Little update on this, the son now had his gf staying over, who of course has brought her own car so that's 5 cars they now have strewn about :fp: She parked directly across from theirs so that means the guy who lives opposite had had to park his car up the road. The son parked outside their other side neighbour's house and their third car is to the left of my drive :dread:

They are the only people that do this, everyone else uses their own drive or parks down the road too keep the roads clear. It's all empty elsewhere in the road and then this clusterfuck outside our area.

Videos and commercials that start automatically on websites. Is it any wonder people have Ad-Block and No Script installed when they think it's acceptable to automatically play a video or commercial, sometimes with sound, or load a box-out video without your permission? Yeah, it grabs my attention...for all the wrong reasons.

They're also resource hogs, and slow down browsing to a crawl as the masses of gooseberry fool they want to bombard you with has to be loaded in all at once.

Similar to this, website adverts that stop the music you're listening to on your iPad. strawberry float off.

A number of years ago my council asked residents if they wanted to introduce residents permits for parking. The majority said yes. So if you want to park down the road, you now have to pay and display. And if you're a resident with more than 1 car, then it's going to cost you a bloody fortune.

On one hand it's yet another tax, but on the flipside it means everyone can pretty much park outside or near their own house.

The way iOS handles audio in general is really dumb.

It might just be because I'm in Asia and they seem particurlay oblivious but I swear if one more person stops on the stairs out of a subway to take a selfie or whatever I'm going to punch them in the back of the head.

That drives me insane with rage as well.

A similar thing that drives me crazy is when I am walking down the stairs and somebody from another floor sees me coming and gets in front of me. They then walk down the stairs extremely slowly as they are checking their phones or are just a slow banana split. These people must know that they are slow/going to check their phone, why not just hold on for a second and come down behind me rather than hold me up. :x

Reminds me of...

Shitty office dress codes that aren't the same for men and women. Every man in the office is sweating and sticking to their shirts, every woman is wearing sleeveless tops, knee length dresses or skirts, and open shoes.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Go to work in a sleeveless top, knee length skirt and open shoes then dare anyone to tell you that you can't.

I don't have the body confidence to do that.
