I think some people do it because they love the sound of their own voice and just want somebody to talk at, some do it to think out loud, and others do it so they can truthfully say that they've discussed something with a colleague (or whoever) and then - when it inevitably gets questioned - they can say "well I discussed it with so-and-so and we agreed that it was the best approach", etc.

Also, when you unsubscribe from a company's constant emailing but they ignore it and keep spamming you anyway.

The American dating system is strawberry floating crazy. It makes far more sense to use day/month/year than month/day/year.

And it’s not just because I am used to the British way, if the Americans used year/month/day then at least it would be logical. Although those silly bastards would probably just use year/day/month just to strawberry float with us.

They're on UK TV channels...do they even bother with different trailers these days? Either way, they don't even say July ninth (which would be wrong but still acceptable), it's July nine. Why? Sounds so gooseberry fool and wrong.
