My body not being to handle alcohol anymore. I had three ciders last night. Three. I feel awful, and I'm on my way to work.

The strawberry float is going on.

Squinty didn't double post, he's just got double vision from being a lightweight.

I am as annoyed as Squinty this morning - I had three (ale) pints last night and I feel embarrassingly lousy today :fp: .

They don't call me Squinty for nothing.

I had Angry Orchard cider Errkal. Wouldn't even say it's a strong drink.

Thinking about it, it wasn't just ale - I had two bottles (pints) of Adnam's Ease Up IPA and then two bottles (330ml) of San Miguel lager. I have always been a lightweight drinker, Squinty-style 8-) .

It was probably the San Miguel that did it.
I find if I feel like gooseberry fool I drink gooseberry fool, but have decent (adnams just about counts) stuff you don't feel as bad even if you have more.

Yeah, I am usually okay (albeit still a lightweight) with ales, Errkal, but lager (larger) always makes me feel rough.

Don't drink then then, or find better "craft" ones. There are some really good largers out there.

You should join the beer club might find something new :P

Noise this weekend.

Last night a flat about 200 metres (i.e. quite a distance) from me was playing music and shouting until 03:35, and today some bloke has been using a chainsaw for hours.

I'm not sure - and not too bothered - if the two incidents are related.

Industrial action, because the council want to strip away overtime, and more senior positions. It's only a few days this week, but it means that they're behind, and missing loads of collections. Only getting back to them as they can, so no guarantee of when any road can expect it. They're expecting industrial action to continue sporadically until early August.

Ahhhh yay for budget cuts!

I read somewhere central funding of councils could drop by 70% over the next few years, it's going to get proper gooseberry fool proper fast.

A nice heat wave would be good, should stop any nasty smells of stock piled rubbish.

Yes?
