The fact that Google no longer has a direct link to a dictionary definition of a word when you search for it.

Lager drinkers.

How can you subject yourself to raping your tastebuds? :fp:

Militant Atheists

Fair play if you dont believe in a religion but dont go being a hypocrite and start ramming this opinion up the arse of the rest of us. Bible bashing and stake burning evangelism sits on both sides of the fence.
Just have the decency to accept other people have differing opinions and beliefs and move along whether you think it right or not.

I strawberry floating enjoy drinking lager, OK? You got a strawberry floating problem with me drinking something I enjoy, then you're a strawberry floating knob.

EDIT: Jesus, H Christ, it's like me saying people who eat cheese annoy me.

Exactly...you drink whht you want, I'll drink what I want! As long as we're having a good night out who gives a flying strawberry float!!

Also I saw a couple of people yesterday who were too edgy (or stupid) to press the button at a pedestrian crossing, like the traffic was actually going to let them go (not on this street it ain't)

Sort of connected. The people who press the button at a crossing (or lift) when it's already been pressed. The light is on, you can see it's been pressed, pressing it again will not speed things along!!

Please do not post this in the "No Context" thread

Got our fair share of that on here, eh?

Charity workers on the street. I know it's their job and stuff, but leave me alone. :( GAME employees.

Seriously, who are you talking about? Who are these militant atheists that defensive religious types harp on about?

Yes it does. If you search for "define: word or phrase you want the meaning of" you'll get a whole page of definitions.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Okay, I'll be the one to break the trend and agree with you here. Obviously Atheists don't go starting wars and gooseberry fool, but on the level of forcing your opinion of something on someone else, they're both as bad as each other.

Live and let live, innit.

Says the human-eating giant lizard.

I'm not disagreeing with you, mind, just thought I'd chip in that hilarious witty comment.

I also hate people who think they're funny but clearly aren't.

And irony.

:? This might be the case if you live in the UK (although I get about 1 visit per month from the Jehovahs, and none ever from the Humanists, but I'll let that slide) - but if you live pretty much anywhere else e.g. USA, you face all kind of pressures from religious groups

Eugh. Sometimes they accidentally get caught up in the train carriage eating, but I pretty much always spit them out. You're a disease ridden verminous little species.

TBH not much rabble rousing goes on in the UK. Certainly the Midwestern Christian/Mormon ramblings of the US annoy the f*ck out of me, despite the fact id love to live in the states. I guess my use of the 'Militant Atheism' description is quite farcical but Dawkins' latest Stunt with the pope seems less about trying to teach people to keep an open mind and expose child abuse (an ideaology which I concur with wholeheartedly) but a new attempt to sell more books.

So in answer to the thread title: The Bible Belt and cynical marketing ploys, 2 things as annoying in my dimension as yours, Jambot.
