Another one on the way in, 3 lanes of the m4, all doing 50 for no reason whatsoever. Middle lane speeds up to 60 so I do, then as I get alongside a lorry the strawberry floater indicates and moves into my lane at the same time, causing me to brake to 40 to avoid getting swiped. THEN he does the indicator flash left right to say thanks er no I was avoiding a crash you split.

There's a fairly hilly bit of the A1 in North Yorkshire where there's still only two lanes. strawberry floating lorries overtake there all the bastard time. I don't know who lets them out. You can be in a line of cars for 15 minutes, basically going at 56-ish, because one lorry has to keep overtaking every other lorry he meets, just because he's capable of going 1mph faster than them.

I really strawberry floating hate them. They should only be allowed to drive at night.

Car Thread veterans will be aware that a lorry did actually pull out to overtake and hit me once (I was to his right) and only my mad driving skillz, along with the Quattro system, allowed me to keep my car pointing forwards. So this isn't faux hatred: it's totally genuine and justified. IMO.

Oh, and echoing what Ad7 said, small van this morning in front of me, but in the middle lane (I'm on the outside). Lorry on the inside decides to pull into the middle, but god forbid the van driver would have to slow down a bit to let the lorry move over, so he swerves into the fast lane, right in front of me, making me slam on the brakes. Why, FFS.

Even worse is when it's the same window (a sash window). So only half the window opens but they go up or down and continue to fly up against those windows for ages.

And with wasps you can't interfere incase they get pissy and attack you.

Wasps and bluebottles get very confused by blinds. Just keep the window open, wait until the bugger rests on the window, then close the blind. They fly out the window most of the time when you do that.

this is gonna be a rant. as I just got back from a gooseberry fool night out!

One of my mates just really annoyed me. Asks me to come out for a few drinks at 1 in the morning. I go meet him and he doesn't speak a strawberry floating word! Had me doing all the talking and a lot of standing around like I was on my bill.

Then one of the photographer guys came over asking ppl for pics, he tried taking one off us but my mate turned around to avoid the camera so now theres a photo of me on my bill :/ not that that matters but still looks stupid.

Had me buying all the rounds too! I didn't want to say its your round now. So ended up buying all the rounds.

He only works 2 days a week coz he can't get a graduate job and thinks coz he's got a degree he is too good for anything else...how stupid is that!? working 2 days a week and sitting off for 5 days. I know its hard to get a full time job these days but if I was in that situation I would work multiple part time jobs. So i guess he's not earning a lot so I didn't mind getting all the rounds.

I wanted to leave and go to another club and he wouldn't coz he still had a bit of his drink left. So I said lets go to the dance floor and he just plain ignored me and left me to go on my own.

In the end I just strawberry floated him off and left him in the club on his own. strawberry floating loser!

Yeah think I should. When I question him about getting a a job that can lead somewhere or at least apply for the management scheme at his current work place, he just goes on about how he is over qualified for that and he'd only want a graduate job or something. So he continues on 2 measly shifts a week there.

Been out with him before and he usually does the rounds too but dunno what happened last night. Also in the past he has got me to pay for most of the taxi fair back, as we live close to each other we should go half's. But I end up paying all the time because he's ran out of cash and never brings his bank card out because he doesn't want to risk losing it (what the strawberry float?).
He probably thinks because I earn more then its alright to let me get the rounds or the taxi. I'm starting to think that he ain't a proper mate and I should start avoiding him.

Yeah I had a mate like that, he used to try guilting when you said no too, you would say sorry mate but I've paid for the last few why did you come out if you had no money and he would just "oh great thanks, you are meant to be a friend and now I am going to have to go home as I can't have a drink"

Ended up really having a go at home and now he has stopped it, at least with me at least he now just scavs off others.
