Bombay Bicycle Club - incoherent, depressive racket. Music to slit your wrists to. 10/10

Not as good as they used to be. Takes forever to get going, too. 5/10

Stuck my iTunes on shuffle, and picked the first song (well second, the first was Stick to the Status Quo from High School Musical):

nice acoustic guitar, but that voice really grinds on me and sounds bland to me 5.5/10

Far too repetitive for my liking with no depth to the lyrics whatsoever. Catchy enough tune though, could maybe work in a 20 second advert. 2/10

This is long but one of my favourite dance tunes ever, love the progression.

Seriously, you can sing "I can't get no sleep" over the top of it!

Nahh man they're not even the same genre! Insomnia's far more of a pop vibe with a trance breakdown whereas that song - with the Eric Prydz rework - is pure progressive house. That slow build, break and crescendo starting from about 4 minutes with the underlying rhythm and pared back vocal :wub:

Sorry I get way overly obsessive with Prydz's work. Will listen to yours in a sec!

That was real nice actually, lovely and peaceful. Liked the meshing of the chicks vocals with the guy's too. 8/10

Thought about going for something similarly chilled but in homage to my recent time in Aus I'll opt for some Australian rap;

I like it. The rapper is a bit weak. I'm not such a fan of his voice. I like the beats, samples and scratching though.

Have you heard of Stanley Odd? Scottish rap FTW!
