eBay may notice if you shill from multiple accounts on the same IP though, I guess you could use a VPN. It's also suspicious if they have no feedback. Best to ask friends. Or you could loose years worth of feedback.

The best deals on eBay are local pickup as nobody buys them. I won a £200 odd chopsaw for £35 recently.

it sucks for flipping items you can't afford to keep for whatever reason because the fees will make you out of pocket for that.

Anyway, today it's people who can't drive a nail. Hitting probably the same nail 10-20 times or even more. It should take 3-5 strikes maximum or you're doing it wrong. Probably using a 3oz pin hammer for framing nails or something. Swing from the arm/elbow not the wrist. Why don't these people just use an electric screwdriver I have no idea. Screws are not expensive. They rarely rust, or you can get stainless ones. Like strawberry float are you using stainless nails anyway, I've never heard of them. Or buy a braider or nail gun.

Hammers are about 110-120dB so one of the loudest things you can do. It's archaic.

Oh god there's two of them now.

My local McDonalds now seems to be perpetually packed full of delivery drivers collecting orders that customers have placed online. You wait ages to be served (they only have one person serving; "You can use the screens to order!") and the whole experience is quite frustrating.

I often get that on my bedroom wall thanks to my neighbour.

I never use the screens, everyone else seems to though which means i can often bypass the queues for them and go straight to the main desk.

That's what I was kinda hoping; but in my local one they only ever have one person actually taking orders (you have to walk past two screens to get to them  ) and it seems to be pretty slow.

I didn't realise this was a thing until recently; I believe it's through Uber drivers rather than McDonald's own delivery system. I don't even know what kind of world we're in any more  .

I'm always dubious as to how warm the food would be if I got a McDonald's delivery. Their chips go cold pretty quickly.

Yep, same. Loads of bikes and delivery drivers loitering around outside these days. Their bags all say Deliveroo but I believe it's actually via Uber Eats. Amazes me how many people are paying £2.50 or whatever to have McDonald's delivered. Mmmmm, limp fries. I have a neighbour who is always ordering that or KFC, Burger King etc. To me the food isn't conducive to carrying well like a pizza or curry.

The touch screens really speed up the process. It's like Argos where you go to a seperate counter and wait for your number. On the occasions I've used it's been much faster than the queues.

I prefer to use the screens and I always get one very quicky. But this leads to another "things that annoy you".

Ordering McDonald's from the screen but the tea always turns up without milk and sugar as if black sugar free tea is the norm.

Yes?

Wouldn't it be easier/cheaper just to shove one of those shitty Rustlers in the microwave/under the grill than have a delivery. I mean what's the difference. Burger King also microwave their burgers.

- Decide on maximum bid well in advance

If you lose, you lose, but you never end up paying more than you wanted.

What if someone outbids you by 1p?

I'm OK with that.
