Even on the Royal Mail website now. Seriously, there's got to be a better way. And half the time it doesn't strawberry floating work! Infuriating how common this has become.

They are slightly (but only slightly) better than the old type where you had to guess what a completely unreadable word said.

They're worse because they're so blatantly being used to create data sets for training AI which basically makes it free labour for google

Yeah, but the word system were free labour too, as reCAPTCHA used people's input to assist in the digitization of books.

The lack of joined up thinking with some companies when it comes to delivering items. Ordered a new TV unit from Made.com, "express delivery" - get an email to say it's been sent to their courier (why not just send it to me directly?), then wait a week...nothing. Call them today, Made can see that they sent it, their courier never received it, seems to be lost. No-one thought to check that it had arrived at the courier, the courier didn't know or think to check where it was, no-one thought to inform me that my £400 unit was floating in the netherworld. Makes me wonder how long I could have left it before they bothered to get in touch. IDIOTS.

It's just really frustrating. I know we'll get it eventually, but the lack of contact from either the seller or the courier is really poor.

satriales wrote:I found myself in a rather annoying situation last night. I woke up at 2am feeling sick, so went into the bathroom knelt in front of the toilet, and dry heaved three times. Suddenly I realised it was going to come out the other end instead, so I moved position and sat on the toilet. The instant I did this without warning it came out both ends at the same time!! I couldn't help but vomit all over the floor.

After a lengthy cleanup I went back to bed only to repeat the process an hour later. This second time I was more prepared. I sat on the toilet but leant over into the bath. Not ideal but much easier to cleanup than the floor.

Sounds like a case of the run bads.

It’s not so much annoying but more humerus, the national lottery advert “haircuts for homeless” it reminds me of something legz akimbo would have come up with, also do they really need to print it on the gowns just to enforce it and rub it in their faces even more

This reminds me of the time a logistics company (Panther Logistics) managed to lose a double mattress I ordered and so another one had to be made to order the same week.
