That happens all the time at work when I am trying to eat. How hard is it to shut up when you can clearly see somebody is eating?

When this happens, if it's really important, I either apologise, pause with food in my cheeks like some kind of hamster, and push out a few words, or I make a point of saying, "Sorry, I'm eating" and finish my mouthful and swallow before speaking even if it means them waiting a full minute in confused silence.

Was supposed to be getting my new TV delivered and wall mounted today. Got a text confirming a delivery window of 7:45-11:45, fine.
They just arrived, guy comes in, immediately says that they can't actually wall mount it today and will be coming back on Friday, today they're just dropping off the TV. Apparently they're too busy today to wall mount it because there's too many bookings and they didn't have enough sets of tools. Well why the strawberry float do you offer more slots for wall mounting than you have tools available? :fp:

So now I have no living room TV until Friday as I gave my old one to my brother yesterday, in preparation for the new one coming today.

That would proper piss me off. I would probably end up mounting it myself and asking them for a refund.

Well I'm still going to let them mount it on the wall, since that way if anything happens it's their fault, and then ask for at least a partial refund for the trouble.

I put a Facebook status up once with a picture of some baby bottle sterilising instructions which stated "Do not use less than 60ml of water or your parts may shrink." I put the picture up with the comment "strawberry float me, anyone got a measuring jug?" - making the obvious parts = penis joke. Got a few likes etc, but the same woman as above put up a reply to this going "Use the baby's bottle" with a thumbs up emoji. AAAARRRGGGHHHH

Seemingly pulled a muscle in my arm from some physical activity on Friday (violent masturbation probably).

Haven't slept right since then, still going to work, dealing with annoying strawberry floaters. It's been great craic. I've managed to keep my cool surprisingly.
