Probably per application device driver settings. Try just using standard HID drivers only. Or it happens to me in Firefox, scrolling speed is reeeeaaally slow, until I unplug the receiver and plug it back in again.

But yeah it's a driver/browser issue probably. Browsers have different settings for scroll speed and smooth scrolling etc - try turning those off. Smooth scrolling always has a mind of its own for me.

People that are seemingly forever ill, and are in such a habit of coughing, sniffing and nose blowing that they do it as routine even when they don't need to be doing so. Related to the above, I've been thinking a keyboard would make a great murder weapon.

Wear gloves (always, shouldn't need to bring that up), and bludgeon person to death using your keyboard, making sure to use only one of the corners. Then swap the entire load of key caps from your keyboard with the person you want to frame. Now you have a murder free keyboard on your desk, while they have the murder weapon with their prints literally all over it.

Good idea, although posting your murderous intent and methodology on an open forum may be the downfall of your otherwise damn fine plan!

Surely you could jut break the skin in one hit and let the gangrene set in? Im forever cleaning keyboards at work cuz they’re strawberry floating minging.

If I use the other person's keyboard, I have to commit to getting hold of that one alone, whereas the other way, I can wait for the right moment to do the swap, plus wait for them to be away so they don't have an alibi.

Even better, I beat someone to death and use their own keyboard, setting up an unsolvable crime

It isn't a browser issue as it happens in everything. I think it is something in Windows and not simply a driver.

MS probably deliberately making it strawberry float up so I need to buy a new model.

This also works with hammers, starting handles and candlesticks (in the library).

When people insist on offering help despite you politely declining.

I got on the bus today with my son. It was the first stop so there was loads of space. A woman was sat in the priority seats near the buggy/wheelchair area, but there's a fold down seat in that area anyway so it doesn't matter. She says she'll move but I say that it was alright. She then goes "no no no" and moves anyway, like she's doing me a big favour. Except I've already positioned the buggy for the first seat so I have to spin it round.

Not a massive thing, but I wish people would offer help instead of forcing it on people to grind their karma for the day.
