I've never had a KFC in my life, I've got no major grudge against them or anything it's just something that has always passed me by for whatever reason. Colonel Sanders always looked a bit dodgy to me as well so that may be subconsciously putting me off the idea!

I really like KFC but like others have said they can vary a lot, I favourite thing from there is the Krushems especially the Milky Bar one

I like KFC fries with mayonnaise and don't really like Burger King. Turns out your rankings are a result of a typo with the correct rankings being:
1) McDonald's
2) KFC
3) Burger King

Having never been to KFC I cannot include their "fries" (
) in my rankings, but I agree with Preezy that BK gooseberry fools on McDonald's in this regard.
If we're casting the net a little wider then I would suggest that the true gold standard for fries would be Nando's.

See Burger King chips are better. But there's something about McDs that are nice/moreish/addict.
KFCs are the worst - but then seasoned version they do from time to time is ungodly

I still remember a few years ago I queued up at the Burger King concession in Victoria station for a coffee (it was around 1am, everything else was shut) only to be told ‘sorry, it’s broken’. Well put a bloody notice on the machine then! LIVID I WAS.

Burger Kings chips are the best, I like them with the sweet chilli dip
McDonalds and KFC are fries rather than chips and I find them both very similar, like Hexx said the KFC festive fries are really nice, in the car I have a jar of "Nando's Peri Peri Salt" and I use that
Back on the subject of annoying things I just had one of those calls "it has been reported to us you can a car accident in the last two years and I can file a claim for you today for £3,000" oh I make them regret calling me, it really winds me up to the point I start shaking! over reaction I know, I am calming now

Now we're back on topic I had Five Guys for the first time recently and, much like the burger itself, the chips were monumentally disappointing. Don't know what all the fuss is about really.

Five Guys is an absolute atrocity. I've tried a couple of their places just in case the one in Birmingham is just a bad example, but every single one has been the same. Disappointing burgers (2 slabs of meat is not a valid substitute for one thick juicy burger), compensated with an overload of soggy, salty chips, they're just dire.
If you want a quick expensive burger go to the Handmade Burger Co.

That's the problem - it's overpriced and if you want a "quality" burger there are other options that far exceed it.
I will admit they were very quick in turning around our order, but I'll happily wait another few minutes to get something decent thanks!

Well you get your burger quicker is the benefit I guess. But as I said above I'll happily wait that little bit longer for something which is so much better!

What the hell the Five Guys fries with the cajun topping are gorgeous. I rarely go as it's so expensive but I love the cheese and bacon burger there.
On the fast food fry rating, i generally agree that it's burger king, then Mcdonalds, then KFC. However when McDonald's frive are freshly done, a little bit crispy and salty then i the best. However they are rarely consistent.

I get these calls all the time. I've also had someone approach me in Birmingham about 4 years ago telling me that I'd been in a car accident (my left leg looks like it's in bandages and is in a compression stocking, if I wear a dress it's plain to see something is wrong with it) and that I should apply for a claim with them. When I told them it was a disability and laughed, they had the audacity to tell me that i was wrong and needed to claim right then and there!
KFC fries are okay, I'd rather just have the chicken though, I prefer a McDonald's fry any day. Mind, I like fries more than chips, but you can't go wrong with a good chip shop chip from a decent chippy!
I've never had five guys. By what you guys have said it isn't worth my time even trying it.
Has anyone had the mini hash browns from burger king in the morning? They are glorious!
