A pub near me does a pretty poor burger (too moist) and the bun/dressing makes it structurally unstable.
But good god they do the best Rosemary Salted Fries

I've always just found that while thinner burgers cook quicker they're never as juicy as a chunky one. Like, the only benefit of a thin burger doesn't benefit you as the guy eating the thing.
The benefit of thin burgers is the relative surface area. The more surface area, the more of that delicious seared brown outer crust.

Burger King mini hash-browns are great.
Subway mini hash-browns on the other hand are absolutely utter shite. Soggier than Theresa May's knickers in an immigrant concentration camp.

I've never gone to any of the fast food outlets for breakfast, it would feel like admitting defeat before the day has even begun!

Nearest Burger King to me is Merry Hill - if you don't count the one at the service station on the M5.
Been ages since I've actually been to one, though I have been to Five Guys. Those Caujun-style fries were great. Not sure how I felt about the burger, since those fries leave a strong lingering aftertaste.

Haven't been for almost a year, I think. I can't even remember. But it's always super busy, and I hate crowds, so that's one good reason for staying away.
It's always good to see someone else from the West Midlands. Seems everyone here's either up north or down south, with Ad7 tucked away in Wales.

I go there fairly infrequently now, but every time I do it always seems that little bit more sad. Intu are utterly terrible at managing it, investing in more stupid eateries and another cinema(?) instead of filling all the empty shops they've already got. Why would you bother eating there if there's no reason to even be there?

I like KFC fries with mayonnaise and don't really like Burger King. Turns out your rankings are a result of a typo with the correct rankings being:

Burger King used to be best but when they decided to go fatter chip they strawberry floated it. Same time as KFC improved their gooseberry fool as they went fat chip to thinner French fry.

I can remember when I was there it seemed as though an entire section or two were blocked off awaiting redevelopment. I had picked up a map from that time as well, and counted at least ten blank spaces just in the northern area of it.

Fat chips for the win!
Now real, proper, authentic fresh made french fries are a delight, but what you get in McDonald's is like a pale imitation of that.
Went for a deliveroo Five Guys tonight to give them another chance. It was the epitome of "meh". I've had bowel movements that have brought me greater pleasure.
