Ooh, that is nice. I'd have it right in my living room, if you know what I mean!

Some of the buses near me still have "Lest We Forget" on their destination boards and poppy stickers on the front. If you're going to "do" remembrance as a company, at least finish the job and end the observance in a timely fashion.

Yeah it's nice and solid, should slot in the gaping space nicely.

More development on the order fiasco front - the couriers did receive the unit, but it's on a lorry that has broken down (in their depot, seemingly), stuffed to the gills with other orders. At least it exists, I guess.

I've really been noticing the excess packaging from Amazon recently. I decided to take out a sub to 5 products to save myself 15% (and it can be easily cancelled with no penalties) and rather than just package it all up in one box, they've sent it all out individually. The UniBond Aero 360 Refills turned up today and the massive box it came in (with crumpled brown paper) was insane.

So basically to save myself about £2 a box compared to Robert Dyas or Wilko I've killed the high street and chopped down a whole tree.

They'd probably save a few extra trees if they didn't set such strict targets for packages over time, forcing employees to box up orders for the same address separately in order to hit them.

Forums where registering has to be manually approved by an "administrator". I've signed up to a wargaming group where i'm moving too and a hobby/collector forum and have either been done? Lol of course not.

Having to be around people who are permanently ill because they live such unhealthy lives. strawberry float me the endless coughing, sniffing and huffing, punctuated by "feel crap today", then you see them eating shop bought sandwiches, chocolate, crisps, rustlers burgers, talking about how they "couldn't be bothered to cook so went out for kfc", reeling off the Christmas menu a bakery has and how they're working through it every day.

Jesus Christ just eat proper food and help your immune system out.

"strawberry float off, mate" is the best reply.

"Always try to be nice, but never fail to be kind."
