Every day at work we have a worklist sent by email. Basically just a spreadsheet showing the outstanding work that everyone has. The lady that sends it always puts a Minion picture on the email with a "witty" caption on it.

Today's has a picture of a Minion in an American cop uniform and reads "The Officer Said "You Drinking?" I Said, "You buying?" We just laughed And Laughed. I need Bail Money".

Arghhhh!!!

Your office just sounds like the best.

Mate, I haven't even started on the new idea of having "Quarterly Champions" as part of their Pride in People.

We have business champions in my place.

I hate that name. So much. It implies that they won something. When they haven't won anything. It's just plain wrong.

Isn't it used in the verb form, to describe people who are tasked with 'championing' specific business initiatives, rather than as a noun?

Stop this madness. I don't need your rational thoughts intruding on my fragile psyche.

I'm just triggered because I was a business champion in my old place :shifty:.

The “Snow..” thread title is triggering me. The punctuation is atrocious! It should either by “Snow...” (three stops) or, if you’re Peter Crisp, “Snow.” (one stop).

But two stops?!? Pure craziness.

But it's a slower pause than an ellipsis..

Sorry to bump this, but this Prime exclusive gooseberry fool really drives me mad. I'm hoping to buy a Playmobil History toy for my nephews Christmas present, but its out of stock at the closest toys r us and of course its Prime only on amazon. :x Fine, I'll take my money elsewhere.

Try Smyths Toys. They're usually cheaper anyway when I was looking at toys for my niece.

Heating being turned up too high in work. I'm constantly in danger of nodding off and I don't like it.

The temperature in my office is up and down like a whore's drawers, surprised more people aren't perpetually ill.

We have no control over it, but thinking about what you said there, it's probably better we don't for that reason. Im just glad I don't sit near menopausal women anymore.

The AC in our place is permanently too high, so I bought a USB Desk fan for myself.

Off on a week up to Scotland next week for training (But on expenses :toot: ) and then off until 8th January from next Friday :toot: :toot:

FFS, had a phonecall from someone from John Lewis saying they'd messed up with exchanging my faulty TV for a replacement and instead have refunded me thinking I was simply returning it.

I now have to order another one myself but can't until paypal decide to actually release the money back into my bank account.

I guarantee they'll be out of stock by the time I can order another.

Crowded places. I cannot hack them, and this time of the year is just killer. Went for my Christmas dinner and we ended up in a club that was crazy busy.

My idea of hell. I lasted 10 minutes. Sometimes I think I'm abnormal as strawberry float for feeling annoyed by these types of situations.

I think that happens the more switched on you are. Only thick/strawberry floated people actually enjoy or are otherwise oblivious to unnaturally crowded places. Maybe they feel safer, like sheep.
