Bellow is a terribly spelt word, it is much better to spell it below... :shifty:

True, I did have to look it up to make sure that was actually the correct spelling.

Toothache coupled with not being able to afford the high cost of dentistry really spunks on my chips.

This is annoying me, too. One of my fillings has failed, but I can't do anything about it until I get paid at the end of the month.

Isn't dentistry subsidised by the NHS but because dentists charge such astronomical prices the NHS can't fully cover the cost for most people?

I remember quite a few years back (and it was quite a few) a dentist check up cost about £3. What is it now, £18?

Yes?

NHS Check up prices are capped at £21.60, but that price also includes X-Ray, Scale and Polish, flouride varnish and fissure sealing.
A non-NHS check up on the other hand is about £65.

If you need a filling on the NHS it's capped at £59.10.
Privately fillings can be anything up to £260

So the NHS definitely keeps costs of going to the dentist down, it just doesn't cover the whole cost.
Of course these caps are also why more and more dentists prioritise private over NHS.

That's nothing considering the health benefits. Thanks for that, we both need to go.

Should roll this system out for all the NHS with the exception of A&E. Would cut waiting lists right down.

Weekend drivers.

Some twat cut me up in a 30. I beeped the horn and flashed the lights at him to let him know about his bad driving. He sped off. About a mile up the road i catch up to him because its a 30 zone with traffic lights and roundabouts. He makes some weird cutting motion with his hand in the mirror then rapidly reverses about 2 inches and brakes.

I start to laugh at his pathetic-ness for doing that.
