Bread would be the least useful thing to buy, it'll go off after a few hours outside of a fridge/freezer.

It says the temperature is dropping to -10. You don't need a fridge/freezer.

 This is what gets me. It's not even sensible panic-buying advice. You want tinned food and bottles of water.

When you offer people expert favours and time and genuine business assets and they cancel on you because literally their mate wants to do it instead and will inevitably do a terrible job.

strawberry floating timewasters, why it's never a good idea to volunteer for anything remotely skilled.

Other people asking to use my Amazon Prime account. It annoys me that I pay £80 a year for this banana split and get made to feel bad if I say I’m going to charge you if you want to order something next-day delivery but are too tight to pay for Prime yourselves.

I mean, what is unreasonable about that? There isn’t really anything people can say that’s a reasonable argument. I might be called a tight arsehole but they’re the banana splits who don’t strawberry floating pay for Prime themeselves, right?

they ask you to order something, but they dont want to pay the extra charge?
or they want you to order something at the 'free' rate, but you want to charge them for the privelege?

It depends who is doing the asking. If it’s somebody close to me (the wife, my mum etc) then I wouldn’t mind. If it is some random twat from work then I would just tell them to strawberry float off.

i think charging them is a fuss that isnt worth it; just tell them to get their own Prime membership
this reminds me of how annoying it is when people treat others as a mean to an end instead of as a person in their own right :x

...what? Who's the person in relation to you?

I've let others use mine before, if they're mates then why wouldn't you

Would you not either? What's wrong with you people, if a friend asks for a favour why would you not help them out...

It depends on how good a friend they are and how often they ask.
