I personally don't mind large crowds or overly busy places, it just has to be the right environment. Stick me in some loud nightclub in Miami or Myrtle Beach and I'll be having the worst time of my life; put me in Wembley Stadium with 80,00 other people, a pub or anywhere in London that's gridlocked to oblivion and I don't have a problem.

In fact to be honest with you I just don't do nightclubs full stop. There's a certain type of loudness I just don't get on with. I'd rather be in a country pub set to the backdrop of cricket on the village green (stereotype) or some relatively quiet boozer in the French alps...

Whilst I loved New York, I would never go back in November/December nor would I recommend anyone else go at that time of year. It was just way WAY too busy/crowded. The tourist spots in particular were really bad, especially the Statue of Liberty. The queues for things were just mental and there were just too many people to make it an enjoyable experience walking around the city.

When pronounced properly, it should rhyme with one.

I've caught my self doing this on the phone just so that 50% of people who do this won't think I'm saying 8 or something.

I remember when I was about 6 there was a test where you were asked to pronounce letters and other sounds. They should get adults to do that.

I once ordered a round of drinks to a table in a completely different pub because for some reason the app defaulted to that one based on my location rather than the one I was actually sitting in.

He's right. How on earth are you pronouncing these words?!

Surely if it based it on your location, that would do the same job? Did you have an old phone with a whacked out GPS?

For months now it has double-checked (manually) the specific pub you're ordering in.

My idea of hell. I lasted 10 minutes. Sometimes I think I'm abnormal as strawberry float for feeling annoyed by these types of situations.

I walked into a place last night. Busy, loud, four deep at the bar. I said goodbye to everyone I was with and got a taxi home. strawberry float queuing for drinks.

Back in the day when I used to go out every weekend with my mates, Wetherspoons was the cheap start to the night. Not matter how empty it was the service was awful. I remember once there was only about 5 of us waiting at the bar and it still took me 20 mins to get 2 beers :dread:

Another time I bagged a booth seat while my mate went to the bar and he was stood there for a full hour while people constantly pushed in at the ends of the bar and got in before him. The staff were so gooseberry fool, they'd just ask who's next and whoever had pushed in would say them. We left without having got a drink. Utter shite.

Right when you'd got a nice romantic booth for the two of you as well :(

Paid a shitload from photobox to have our wedding photos made in to an A3 photobook for a main christmas present.

It just turned up.

It's some random family's road trip holiday. :fp:
