I think this is a whole pile of people with too much time in their hands.

Clock needs work done. Let them do the strawberry floating work. Wankers.

But but but we won't have the bongs for years! Even Hitler didn't manage to stop the bongs!

The one thing I actually like about the story is it sounds like it is about a tall stoner called Benjamin giving up the weed for a bit.

Pissed people that haven't paid for first class trying to sit in first class on the train.

I've been on a few trips to York with family over the last year or so and on every one of them on the return journey you get a load of tanked up arseholes who've been on the piss all day trying to get away with sitting in first class because they are too strawberry floated to walk to the right part of the train. People pay a little extra to have a quieter, more comfortable journey and to avoid exactly this kind of bullshit.

In the most recent case all first class seats were reserved so the people who had paid for the seats couldn't sit in them and staff actually had to get security on the train to move people on and maintain order. I think it's pretty ridiculous that there has to be what amounts to bouncers on a train just to make sure people are sitting in the seats they've actually paid for.

Maybe next time you could get your butler to board the train first to secure your seats.

I'm with you on that. The other month when we went to that London, I had to walk all the way through povvo class to get a drink :dread:

The further back along the train you went, the louder it got and the more mess was around. Right at the back was the place where legs were across the aisle, empty food wrappers were everywhere and balding middle aged men wearing superdry t-shirts were.

 for the record I'm far from a snob, I'm common as muck, my mother just likes to travel first class and when she's paying who am I to say otherwise.

You get a full english breakfast going to London mid-week. Why wouldn't you? :dread:

I've paid for first class when doing a couple of city breaks to London but wouldn't do it just for a commute or anything.

As for the drunkards, if you're drunk on the train then you should get chucked out simple as that. I'm always a bit curious about the need to sell alcohol on trains anyway - if you can't make it through a train journey without needing to knock one back then you probably need to have a think about things.

Book far enough ahead and it doesn't cost much at all.
