We warn them once then terminate the call. I usually let it slide if it's not directed at me though. I've had to terminate two calls this week which is pretty uncommon.

It always strawberry floating amazes me when people want me to text directions or tell them over the phone, just google it and follow the map you useless prick. Especially when things like Whatsapp let you send you current location to people and all they have to do is press the blue arrow and let the phone tell them where to go.

I do like a little end of line direction from someone who has been there before. Satnav can get you in range, but if there are funny doors or specific parking requirements or something its good to know in advance.

yeah but thats when the actual directions dont really help out - with Google maps (in our case) the arrow points right to the venue gate, and the footpaths are actually mapped out.

Whilst satnavs, Google maps and the like have improved they are still regularly just plain wrong when it comes to finer detail. Delivery drivers regularly get lost when I order things as Google doesn't locate our address correctly (it doesn't even believe the name of the road is correct and puts the pin halfway down the street)

There is a banana split on instagram who re-registered my email address on there about 10 times after I repeatedly admonished it.

Now he's registered a PayPal account, linked a card to it, and included all of his personal information, and I've got a $13 receipt for a plushie, probably for his girlfriend, who I previously encountered.

Why the strawberry float have PayPal joined the hordes of sites that let you use them (for financial affairs, seriously??) without actually proving you own the email address associated with it?

And no, I can't add the email address to my PayPal account (that uses 3 other addresses), because it says "you cannot claim the funds on this account because the email is already in use".

How the strawberry float can someone not know their email address, repeatedly? How?

I've read one theory that kids don't understand the concept of an e-mail. They think you can just type "myusernamehere@gmail.com" and that's literally how you get an e-mail address - you just claim it, out loud, while typing it into the computer.

It'll take weeks to sort this gooseberry fool out.

But I'll probably try logging in first, changing his password, robbing him and then deleting the account.

(I bet even if I did that he would register again STILL with my email and so I'll have to add the address to my own account just to prevent him from doing the same.)

Seen as it is "just an email address" not an actual identity thing I don't think you need to really get so worked up as it just plain doesn't matter.

Just change the password and gooseberry fool can the account and move on. Getting worked up over it doesn't solve anything and as I say it is just an email address so who gives a gooseberry fool.

I'm not moving house just because Google can't get their gooseberry fool together! They have a system on maps where you are supposed to be able to submit corrections - either this doesn't work or they just can't be arsed as I've pointed the errors out to them plenty of times!

The YouTube app on iOS. Crock of gooseberry fool. I can connect to other apps, browsers etc perfectly fine. Sure I can do it on the browser but still this thing half the time says I'm offline. No I'm not, dickhead. Sort your app out.

Fair enough she shouldn't have got paralytic but unless she is an alcoholic with a problem you shouldn't be telling her what she can and can't do.

If his sister is behaving that way with a child, I would say that she has a very unhealthy relationship with alcohol, and her daughter isn't that far away from being at an age where she can emulate that. I don't know the ins and outs of her life to tell anyone what to do, but if she's upset No1FFF like that then her alcohol use has affected her family, which is a pretty bad sign in my opinion.

Thanks that is totally spot on. I really think she has a unhealthy relationship with alcohol and can't stop herself when she starts. She even drinks during the week but then again so do a lot of people. I don't know...lets just say I won't be going anywhere with her again if alcohol is involved.

You're right, it's just a stupid thing to do is all.

I messaged them on fb politely and they deleted it.

It doesn't get to me all that much. In general what does get to me is when people repeatedly demonstrate the same dumb behaviour and don't learn anything. Especially when they argue about it and suggest you're some kind of master manipulator / hacker, it's flat earth stuff.

It's generally when people never come around to the possibility that the most likely answer is they made a mistake, or did something stupid but will never admit it.

That really irritates me, as I generally admit to faults all the time and can't see any value in defending stupid actions. I think it's how you grow and see it as a fundamental value of a good all round person.
