People on sober October. If getting to the end of the first week is such a massive achievement for you then you've got a drinking problem.

I miss that.

I think I mentioned before that's one of my most hated this ever. It's the use of the word "deserve" that grinds the gears most.

Yeah, I remembered this came up before. Worse saying ever.

I have done this several times when posting in GR lately. I rarely use literally or like, though 8-) .

I'm trying not to use the word 'actally' so much, I've noticed I use it far too often recently.

See also November and January for assholes acting like its a challenge to not drink for 4 weeks. If it really is a problem for you then you need to take a look at yourself.

I know one or two folk who would have trouble giving drink up for a day, let alone a month. I used to get annoyed about it but that time has passed... it’s unlikely that they’re gonna change now.

I don't drink so this would be a breeze for me. However, if there was a similar charity event for tea drinking I think that would be a very difficult challenge for me.

I'm the same with coffee, I can't remember the last time I didn't have at least 2 cups per day.

I've known (and do know) so many colleagues who clearly drink too much and can't imagine a day without necking a bottle of wine, but they just laugh it off. "Cant wait until my glass of wine tonight, lolz1", and then they come in the next day cackling about how they ended up having a couple of bottles with their friend while watching Gogglebox. Rinse and repeat every day of the week. Or some who only drink on a Friday or Saturday night, but come in hungover on Monday because they drank that much. It's always women as well - maybe the men just don't talk about it, but downing wine and prosecco seems to be the favourite activity of most women I know through work.

It's energy drinks for me. I usually have one on the way to work and then another about halfway through the day.

I think I have a bit more of a problem. I drink a minimum of 5 teas a day, with 6 or 7 being average.

On a normal working week I'll have a can of Rockstar energy drink each day, normally at about 3pm once the early starts begin catching up with me. I can quite happily go a week without though, as I'm doing this week, so I don't think I've got a problem with them.

I am talking 500 ml cans here so most days I'm drinking a litre of energy drink which can't be good for me. I do make a slight concession by drinking only sugar free where possible so at least there aren't as many calories.

I was drinking way too much tea but have managed to cut it down recently, got a litre water bottle and have a rule where I can't have more tea until that bottle is empty and when I make a tea I fill the bottle. It works well and boosts water intake so all round pretty good.

Tea is mainly water and also I've read it is good for warding off Alzheimer's. I drink it just for the health benefits.

Wouldn't that much tea make your teeth yellow :dread:
