I'd tell 'em to get stuffed. If you do it once it starts a tide of more requests so yeah sod 'em they want the benefits of prime, get prime!

da strawberry float. If they only buy from Amazon once in a blue moon why would they sign up for Prime?

Just help them out then when you need a favour, they help you. How friendship works.

It's a fair point, but it is a matter of degree as <]:^D says. It is a bit of a piss-take to skulk off someone else repeatedly, reaping all the benefits of a paid-for service without paying at all.

That’s why I don’t let the wife in the room when I am watching TV. I pay for the licence fee, she can strawberry float off if she thinks she is freeloading off of me like that. :x

My son is allowed, but only until he turns 2 and then it’s time he started paying his own way.

Damn straight.

This has just reminded me that my wife added me to her prime account via family sharing or whatever it is. Does that mean I get the delivery too?

Would you not either? What's wrong with you people, if a friend asks for a favour why would you not help them out...

I would, I was just saying, imagine being the kind of person that wouldn't. :dread:

I was checking some work for a colleague earlier and noticed that she was not using a question mark after questions she wrote in her email. I rejected it and said it needed the question marks.

She replied with “oh I never use question marks. I hate them” and then changed her email so that the questions looked more like statements.

I laughed and said that question marks exist for a reason, but she just wouldn’t have it.

WTF?

And now you understand why, even though I am on GRcade all day, I am still one of the better employees here.

Indeed that's crazy. There is plenty of punctuation that could be considered "optional" without really ruining things, but a question mark?! Madness!

Also high five for the use of the word "gimboid" :toot: My recent re-watches of Red Dwarf have reminded me what a great word that is and how it needs to be seen more regularly in conversation!
