Utter pointlessness. You were a twat last year do you honestly think giving up cake or eating so much cock it whatever is going to make a difference.

Eating a lot of cock can make a difference if you are a chronically cock-deficient twat.

At what point can I stop copy and pasting 'Happy New Year' in to the top of every work email? I'm bored of it already and I've only been here 3 hours.

Far enough away from Christmas that I can moan about a present now

My mum got me for Christmas (amongst other things) a notepad - just like a 99p metal ring bound A5 flip pad you pick up from any stationary ship. But it's covered (and backed) by the cover and back of an old Dr Who book (I'd guess late 80s).

The sort of thing you'd see for 50p in charity shop or boot sale. I think you can imagine.

It's "recycled" and she bought from a local craft fair.

And I hate it. I don't want to read the book - but the idea of cutting up a book/butchering it to sell on some poncy ass "craft" market stall really grates.

People coughing down the phone. I accept inbound calls on some days in work, and use a headset. The customers always deafen me when they cough straight into their handset. It pisses me off to no end. Pull the phone away, it's not hard.

The changing of pack and product sizes depending on the supermarket you're in, seemingly only done to make it more difficult to compare prices and know if what you're purchasing is actually a good deal or not.

Don't the price labels now have to list things like "Price per 100g" or "Price per 100ml" ? Or at least I've noticed quite a few price labels do in supermarkets now. That's probably a better way to gauge value rather than the total price.

They do but even those are sneaky quite often some are price per 100g some price per kg some even price per item so you have to convert to a matching size so it's just a ball ache
