When you get in the groove on FIFA and read the game such that you can pretty much predict exactly what your opponent is going to do next.

When you have a day of not taking life too seriously, you feel chatty, you find far too many things funny the people around you all seem to be in a good mood too.

There's a guy who sometimes presents BBC Midlands news in the morning who just has the most fantastic face and hair. He looks like a pixar character. His name's Qasa Alom, but no pictures of him seem to have have him in his presenter attire. He seems to have more normal hair in his social network pictures :x

Don't forget to drop into the Trafalgar Tavern next to the Naval Academy Jawa. Lovely pub (if they have taken the scaffolding down from the renovation last year). It's so lovely, I had my wedding reception in the ballroom upstairs. Makes me smile every time there is a shot of the Academy on the telly with the pub along side it.

The Tavern looks very plush, mrspax! I'll keep an eye out for it.

Last summer I popped into this cafe in Greenwich Vilage to enjoy a smashing cuppa and a chunk of cake -

It's just a Gastropub at the end of the day, but the riverside setting and lighting on days like this are incredible. You can probably spot me on one of the balconies.

That coffee shop is mint. I miss London :(

This is pretty much the only non-people thing I miss about the UK. Pubs

Real pubs with beer gardens and nice ale in the summer are the single greatest thing about this country.

#2 is a nice brew.

You simple cannot beat a great beer garden. Many an afternoon lost to going for 'a quick few' and ending up battered with sunburn and a kebab

Never been that big on beer gardens but used to get a group of 12 or 13 of us and hit the park most weekends when we were teens. Would set up in a quiet spot beside a loch with a crate of beer each, some joints and plenty of tunes. Get strawberry floated up and clamber about the cliffs then when we got too warm go for swims in the water. Continue drinking, sometimes get laid, then head to the beach in the late evenings to drink with a bigger group of folk and a bonfire. Some of the best times of my life.
