Finally got around to watching this, and it was great! :toot:

It's such a relaxing watch.
Watching something that they are so passionate about is such a joy.

I caught up with it recently too and really enjoyed it. I felt such happiness when the theme tune kicked in  wish I'd watched it over the Christmas break for maximum feels.

I feel sad you get less feels than me.

I love the show but this episode kind of felt like detectorists written by AI, and I didn't like how several developments from the previous serious were undone off-screen pre-episode, that kind of thing always strikes me as a bit lazy.

Still though, mediocre detectorists is still better than anything else out there.

I stumbled across this vid by Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse... and there was Gazza, possibly in the calmest and best shape that he's been in for quite some time. That made me smile!

Yeah, there sure is a bit of smiling going on tonight. I've seen this before but, dang, this guy Polo just gets it. I love the song and I love the reaction!

My youngest nephew has some physical and learning challenges. Last week he started nursery; two afternoons a week with a dedicated assistant to support him. He is in a standard class with other "typical" kids; he can't walk or talk yet but he is crawling around the classroom and joining in with things. It's hard to convey what an amazing achievement this is  .

...and, building on this, the classroom has just had a little ramp built over some steps so that my nephew can crawl out into the playground area when the other kids go outside :) .

I just found out that Champions, a film about a basketball team and featuring some people with additional needs alongside Woody Harrelson, is launching this month. It appears to be based upon a Spanish film of a few years ago and looks to be pretty neat :D .

One of my nephews (the five-year-old) made me a "get well card" and he drew a scene where a footballer is scoring a goal. Apparently the goalkeeper is looking the other way so that the player can score... and there is some treasure buried underneath the pitch... and there are some "lasers" under the pitch "trying to find the treasure".

Amazing stuff and definitely worth smiling about :) .

In the interests of not being a total split, here's something that makes me smile:

Coming home from work and the dog being really excited to see me. I open the door and I can hear my wife going, "who's that! Who IS it, go see!" And I go in to see him jumping around the room, running to get a blanket for me as a present and just generally being happy to see me.
