Well that's just beautiful

On Twitter I follow a guy who is a kind-of "friend of a friend". I understand that this chap has some learning difficulties - he's in his early 30s but communicates as if a young kid - and it seems that one of the things that he is really into is zombies. Films, masks, outfits and games; particularly games.

Anyhow, the reason I'm smiling is because he was so pleased to get the new Dead Island 2 game and he is pretty hyped that he's gonna be playing it tomorrow. Great stuff!

Luis Diaz and his family re-uniting with his father who had been held hostage in Colombia for 12 days. It must have been a terrible nightmare and it's so good that things ended okay.

We gave Untitled Goose Game as a Christmas present to my partner's niece and nephew, a game they've never heard of before.

They absolutely lost their minds when they realised they could immediately throw stuff into the lake together and cause havok to the first person they came across in the game, and it just snowballed from there. Just absolutely joyous chaos.

I feel good right now. I love my son, I love my wife, I love our house, I love my massive Steam library. Things are gooseberry fool with the world right now but I'm so lucky to have everything I need.

Took my car to the garage today as one of the tyres had a screw sticking in it. And for the first time in nearly 30 years and numerous similar trips, they could actually repair it and it didn't need a new tyre. :toot:

I just rediscovered Victor's Christmas classic. Sure, it's January now... but we all need a smile and this song delivers it  .
