What's an Iberian Slap? I could Google it but it's more fun to let GR tell me.

Being home after being on holiday for a week. I was in Cornwall in this really nice little cottage but getting home and feeling comfortable in my own place is brilliant. I love my house and area i live in, it's a great feeling when you actually miss your home.

Listening to Kraftwerk. Not something I'd done before, and it's all due to Octo's GR sig.

That's wonderful! After football being associated with money-grabbing and self-serving, it's fantastic to see Mata take a bit of time out to acknowledge that supporter. Brilliant :toot: .

I'm almost afraid to mention it but, yes, life is literally so much better. The noise was horrendous for a while but things have improved so much and I'm really happy about it :-).

Although... some neighbours in the block have complained about a smell of cannabis. And the flat below me has been suspiciously quiet compared to the months before that. Putting one and two together to make twelve... I've probably got a cannabis factory below me now  .

You should be grateful as it is obviously making them sleep instead of partying.

Oh yes. I prefer having drugged-up, quiet neighbours than noisy ones :toot: .

The sound a loaf makes after you take it out of the oven that lets you know the crust is going to be fantastic. When you leave it to cool down the crust starts to crack and the sound of that happening is just great to hear.

I was messaging my friend the other day and she asked for my home address. Since she's currently on holiday with her boyfriend I assumed they got engaged but got home yesterday to find a card and photo announcing they got married. Well chuffed for them.
