This should really differ with age groups but what made you scared when you were younger?

I was never scared of clowns, the bogey man or Darlk’s when I was young but the child snatcher from chatty chatty bang bang always freaked me out. Not helped by my father who said if I left his sight when we were out that he would come and grab me!

The very first Resident Evil zombie. I remember my uncle playing RE1 when I was about six or seven, and boy did I choose the wrong game to watch him play.

The film adaptation of The Witches will haunt my nightmares until I am no more.

The nightmare scene from the film "Look who's talking Too"

I mean look at that gooseberry fool. I was 5 when this came out.

The Undertaker from WWE use to really scare me when I was a child, this was during his ministry of darkness days when he was kidnapping people and such. Anyway when I use to hear his music and see the lights go out I use to turn the channel over for a couple of minutes and turn it back again hoping stone cold would be beating him up.

The song Eleanor Rigby used to scare me a bit. My parents used to listen to the Beatles a lot in the car. I suppose it has quite bleak imagery.

Mannequins. Its a good job i was over it before the first episode of the new doctor who series in the mid 2000s :dread:

Everything.

The noise phones make to let you know you haven't put the handset back on the base.

Wasps (still find them terrifying to look at up close).

The "black rabbit" scene from Watership Down.

Seems a little silly now but when I was young I used to walk alone
And when I walked a dark road
At night or strolling through the park

When the light began to change
I sometimes felt a little strange
A little anxious when it was dark.

I suppose it was a fear of the dark
I had a constant fear that something was always near

Now that i wasn't scared of, in fact, i loved it.

I used to have nightmares about Herbie when I was a kid. Not GRcade's Herbie, obvs - but the car. I used to be stuck in a maze and it would be trying to get me :cry:
