I've searched for it several times over the years but no dice, if anybody can do some sleuthing and find it I'd be eager to see the nostalgia rush/PTSD it gives me.

Were you taking anything in the early 90’s?

The piss?

Seriously though I remember the above happening (running out of the room screaming) and my mum still references it sometimes so don't @_DHOTYA just yet

It's not exactly what you described, but allowing for false memory...

Wow! That has to be it. My memory must be a composite of a few things as it's a bit different to that indeed, but "Good morning Bob" is etched firmly into my skull. No trauma from watching it though, bit disappointed not gonna lie :(

EDIT: Upon further research, Insignia was the previous name of Lynx. I'm guessing there was a new advert for the rebrand a few years later that was very similar (1989 is a bit early, I'd have been 3, I'm guessing I was 5 or 6). This explains why that advert didn't terrorise me.

90s Roy Walker Catchphrase

Jesus

Some of the animations creeped me out and the final round with the contestant surrounded in darkness.

Shudder

Catchphrase was awesome though.
