Do you still like videogames? Did you enjoy this decade as a whole? What do you expect will excite you about the videogame industry in the next 10 years?

Personally, I can't wait for the downloadable games that cost a few pounds and take a few hours to complete to really flourish and begin to deliver the kind of games I've been wanting to play since the nineties. Because there's no high price tag, there's no obligation to deliver What You Want or 'value for money', and because it's delivered in a different way, maybe that'll quash the immense amount of empty pre-release hype and gradual feeling of boredom that awaits every release nowadays.

I currently hate 9 out of 10 games I play, but I'm quite hopeful that in the future it will change to only 7 out of 10 games.

The first half of the decade was great. The first couple of years saw some fantastic PS1 games and after that the PS2. Since around 2007 though, I've not been anywhere near as interested in gaming, sans a few recent games. I really have no desire to get a next-gen console. I'd rather play DOOM WADs on PC.

Regarding downloadable stuff, I'm not looking forwards to the death of physical cases and gaming manuals.
