Disappointed with the final montage. Didn't think the time-lapsed thing worked.
One moment there's a brutal murder, next thing you know Lol's playing cards and Combo's in the nick. What about the incidentals? The wedding, Lol going along with Combo's plan etc.
Could have done without the sex scene in the toilet, and seen more of the aftermath. Maybe they're saving it for the DVD. Shame they didn't use more of Stephen Graham too.

The toilet scene though was showing Shaun become a man. He just finished his GCSEs, started working, handled the thing with his mums like a man in the end and then blew his beans. His story was becoming a man.

There's gonna be more series I think, This Is England 90 next mayne is my bet, next World Cup.

I hope so.

Watched the 1st episode , seemed to drag on in the first half.

BTW I was born in 1986 myself 8-)
