This Year's Nintendo E3 Press Conference Is "About The Games

Last year, Nintendo's E3 press conference was a train wreck.
Nintendo marketing exec Cammie Dunaway is upbeat about this year's though, giving reasons why we should be excited about this year's presser. "Well, because, I'm going to be up on stage presenting, something that your fans ought to love," Dunaway told IGN. "But I'm not gonna snowboard, I'm not gonna show my mother's day card. I'm just going to talk about the games." And smile! A LOT.
The saleswoman seems to have gotten cut-off in the IGN interview, because when asked if there was anything she could say about E3, she shrugged and replied, "All I can say is I hope we have something."

All I can say is I hope we have something.
Well, that sure fills me with optimism.
In all seriousness, this year's E3 will cement once and for all whether Nintendo has lost touch with its loyal hardcore fanbase, or whether it wants to keep us AND the 'expanded audience' sweet.

My love for Nintendo has been destroyed by the Wii, yeh there is some great games on the Wii but I just cant be bothered with it.
Nintendo can restore some of that lost love with Pilotwings, Pikmin 3, New Zelda and Lylatwars 2.
I dont think this will happen sadly

I would hope they are developing all 4, New Zelda is obvious but why the strawberry float nuts would they not make a new Pilotwings/Lylatwars 2 and Pikmin 3 with the wii remote so easily tailored to those games. If it wasnt for Mario Galaxy I would sell my Wii.

There'd better be 'something' ! I'm currently reduced to playing old gamecube games - Killer7 at the moment.
But, has anyone tried the Tenchu game ? Any good before I part with cold, hard cash...

I'm going to watch this years conference expecting nothing but facepalming fail, so hopefully I won't be disapointed like I was last year.

I think even if it is a facepalming fail, Cammie Dunnoway has the unique ability to draw you in, just to see how badly she can mess it up...
