What?!

I can't quite understand this comment. Either it was said as a bad joke to lower expectations which will then be blown away by awesome new games or they really do have bugger all to announce so far.

NSMW on DS is much more likely.

I just want 'SR388' to become a reality. :(

I think they'll reveal a new Zelda for Wii, for release next year.

In the same year they reveal Spirit Tracks? Really? Hope you're right, man, but can't see it happening myself.

They really should be working on another Mario for DS, given how many copies the last one has sold...but then again, why should they bother?

I can't help but think that if they actually do reveal a new Zelda, It will be Wind Waker style or at least have child link. I'd rather they keep that stuff on the DS and have adult Link on the Wii using an upgraded version of the TP engine.

I remember someone (Iwata?) saying Nintendo now have the luxury of announcing games and them come out a few months down the line instead of announcing things early and waiting a few years. I think this was kind of followed up on with the new Zelda DS being announced/released in the same year. I hope this trend continues. I'd rather be kept in the dark and then *bam* new games at christams than seeing a teaser trailer for something that *might* come out in 2010.

Nintendo are arguably the best in the business when it comes to keeping their games under wraps.

Or better yet, new games straight away.

Just imagine, massive game announced at E3 and them ending with 'by the way, this is going to be in shops next week'.

Cel-shaded Link in Wind Waker looks far better than any poncy "Adult" Link, why confine that to the blockier, uglier DS? :( Can they not just alternate?

Bit of a double-edged sword, that, though. You'd get all the cynical bastards who populate the internet saying the game must be gooseberry fool or they wouldn't have kept it hidden from us for so long.

Im telling you now on the show floor will be:
- Playable Spirit Tracks
- Playable Sin and Punishment 2
- Half the Nintendo booth dedicated to Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit+
- Playable Pikmin 3
- Playable NPC Metroid
- Playable Punch Out!!
- Playable ExciteBots
- Playable S&M Winter Olympics
- Reveal of SMG Sequel (It sold double TP. Makes sense to continue this way)
- Zelda teaser, Maybe NPC Wind Waker with missing dungeons added.
- Pilotwings as the next big hardcore/casual crossover shot.

- Playable Spirit Tracks: Dead cert.
- Playable Sin and Punishment 2: Also probable, if it's due this year.
- Half the Nintendo booth dedicated to Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit+: Damn straight!
- Playable Pikmin 3: New trailer and info are possible, but I doubt it'll be playable for a year or two.
- Playable NPC Metroid: Dead cert.
- Playable Punch Out!!: Dead cert.
- Playable ExciteBots: Dead cert.
- Playable S&M Winter Olympics: Dead cert.
- Reveal of SMG Sequel: No, as Nintendo always takes its sweet time with 'main' Mario games.
- Zelda teaser, Maybe NPC Wind Waker with missing dungeons added. I'd jizz all over myself and my computer if that happened, but we're not that lucky. :( Lots of NPC stuff out this year, they need to save something for next year, so perhaps we'll see it then, if it happens.
- Pilotwings as the next big hardcore/casual crossover shot. Maybe, it's not totally out of the question.

Seeing as Punch Out will have been out for 2 weeks before E3 comes along...why would anyone care if its 'playable' there or not.

If we were to take the typical Nintendo stance on this, NSMB's great success would count against there being a sequel any time soon.

I think we'll see one big core game briefly at the conference, very little else.

If I had to guess which game that would be I'd take a punt at a new Starfox.

HOC will be pleased.

I also hope someone throws a digital camera at Mummy Dunaway :x
