I've had a look through the t-shirts and there are some that I like, but I don't know if I'll get them or not.

It's been a while since I've had a good look at the site and I noticed they've increased the prices by $2 and are now selling prints of some t-shirts. I'd prefer to have a t-shirt over a print, to be honest.

I dont get what there is to hate, all the tees are designed by completely different designers, and are so all completely different....

:?

Theres no theme, they are ALL DIFFERENT! How can you strongly dislike a brand that invariably has a ridiculous amount of variety?

They have designs on them, or 'art work'. I don't like designs. I like solid colours, perhaps with a little trim, that fit well, are made of quality material, wash well and retain their colour. Threadless does not serve my needs.

Lacoste does, amonst others, at more expense I will admit, but it does the job I'm looking for. Every time. That's why I can do a circuit around Liverpool and buy a pair of jeans, a polo and a piece of knitwear that fits my every need and not worry about sales promotion or whether it will fit or not. I even know what shoe shop to go to. I hate shopping at the best of times and knowing I can get everything I need from just a few shops takes the hassle away.

Plus I try everything on in shop the first time. You don't get that with internet sales, which is why I don't do it unless I've tried on that brand before in a shop. With Threadless it's pot luck for me.

But Threadless fit me, I know my size, they have been very durable and don't shrink much, I love tees more than anything and no-one else I know wheres them. Plus, they are cheap, look awesome and people always comment how cool they are....

They fit my needs very well, and they fit many other peoples needs as well. From what you've just said, I understand you not being interested, but I don't understand wy you have quite a passionate hatred of them!

I haven't anymore. I've realised that everyone needs their signature, which is why if you like Threadless go with it. Whatever makes you happy is my new motto. It's just that people need to know there is a world out there that isn't Tees with designs on them. If that is what you like, go for it, but realise that there are brands out there that cut their teeth decades ago, and with cultures that aren't around anymore. Yet the brand is still there. I know I'm a child of that brand culture, and that Lacoste, Fred Perry, Lyle and Scott, Aquascutum, Stone Island etc are grounded in the football terraces, but I can't help but buy them, because I grew up there.

Just be yourself lads, I suppose.

Just don't wear Threadless Tees eh?

Sometimes I have been tempted, on occasion to grab a Threadless Tee for a bit of something different (I don't generally have a specific style, I see no reason to stick to one all the time), but every time I look on there the only shirts in my size are retarded, so it puts me off.

I've only bought one t-shirt from Theadless and it became discoloured after a couple of washes, though admittedly it was all my own fault as I'd never really washed clothes before, and screwed it up.

I'd love to get that shirt again though, it was the excellent Defend the Kingdom.

The sizes are all on the site. I usually go for a Medium, which is quite snug, but I like it that way. They also tend to be a little longer than your average UK shirt. It used to be a bit of a gamble on the old Fruit Of The Loom shirts, as they varied between colours, but these new own brand ones seem to be pretty consistent.

Also, they should be washed on cold wash or delicates, it does say so on the site. I've bought about 20 and they're all still pretty decent, the earlier ones are starting to fade a little, but at those prices it shouldn't really matter.

Do want! :D

I've brought loads from them but not even looked at the site recently, guess there was nothing I liked for a while.
Some of the ones I have; Baby Batman, animals in Gotham, swiss army tank, the one with loads of keys, darth vader trimming his bush, the knight defending the sandcastle against a beachball, movies ruining the book since 1920 and more still, I can't recall even half of them. First one I brought was the excellent Bioshock contest winner, stupidily though I underestimated the sizes and had to give it to my little brother, they've been sold out since. :(

I was buying them two at a time until teh royal ail cottoned on and started charging import duty, teh barstewards!

Edit: Yays, the war against work is back in stock, I wanted this one ages ago. :D

Further reductions. Some of the older stock is now down to $9. Hardly anything in a Medium though, but if you're a bigger guy there's loads! Bargain-tastic!
