They don't need martial arts, they just need amazing spaceships. I'm pleasantly pleased by the models of the ships and Tracy Island though. That video tour was very impressive.

So the random Asian chick is supposed to be Tintin? Is Kyrano going to be an old and mysterious man who teaches the Tracy kids ancient martial art techniques now?

Speaking of Kayo, I think it's a bit of a missed opportunity that they didn't switch some of the characters out for women. It's not like the original series is fondly remembered for the strong and nuanced characters in the Tracy family, so replacing a few wouldn't exactly screw up the dynamic.

It's cool that Kayo's a part of the team mind, but she doesn't get a Thunderbird.

Has anyone seen the Kickstarter for the new board game (based on original Thunderbirds)? Looks good! By the same guy who did Pandemic...

Was gonna link to it but Kickstarter appears to have blown up for now...

Thinking about how generally useless Thunderbird 4 was has made me realise, Thunderbird 2 should have been number 1 in the running order. They'd have been screwed without it.

The new series start on Saturday 4th April on itv at 5pm.

I want to say that seems a slightly unusual time for it, but to be honest I can't really think what would be a suitable timeslot.

It's only 5pm for the opening episodes on Saturday. After that it will be on at 8am.
