The BBC are bringing back one of my all time favourite shows in Time Commanders.

I can't wait to see the new version of Total War running in all its glory and see what epic battles they pick  .

HELL YEAH! Loved this show! I'd wondered if they'd maybe bring this back too when the new series of Robot Wars was announced.

This, Robot Wars and a new Star Trek show on the way - happy days!

I loved the idea that it showed just how great the historical commanders were given that they didn't have a "God mode" overview of the battle that we get with the game.

This show is a really god way to get kids interested in history. It certainly peaked my interest when I saw it as a kid.

Time Commanders was a good idea but I thought it was rubbish. There was another series I can't remember the name of where they played a proper Kriegspiele with two teams in separate rooms and a central board with moulded terrain and everything. Robot Wars was and is way more exciting than watching some berks fail at playing TW.

Genuinely considering trying to get a team together from my housemates and applying to the show.

Actually he meant he was very interested in history and this show brought it to a peak. So Mr Rax, leave Fade alone and stop using him as your escape goat. :x

This was one of the best history shows ever so I am so excited that this is getting a return. I was watching the old series on YouTube recently and it's so good even now.

Holy gooseberry fool i had forgotten about that, the paintball gameshow? That was objectively crap but strangely compelling at the same time. All we need is a new series of scrapheap challenge and stargate sg1 and my teenage years are complete.
