Why do these things exist? What is wrong with people? First someone had to think it was a good idea to make one of these, then someone else had to assess it and approve it as an actual product, then later someone completely unrelated had to buy one of these and think it was a good idea to leave the lights on that setting.

How about you? Are you a monster, or do you also detest these things?

As someone with autism, I loathe Christmas as it's generally a month of sensory overload whenever I go anywhere because of bright flashing lights on everything.

Our neighbours over the road put some fairly restrained lights up on their hedge but then proceed to put them on the looping cycle mode where they gradually come on and off, then twinkle for a bit, then just flash on and off for about 20 seconds, and they'd leave them going all night. This is one of the reasons we rearranged our house to put our bedroom at the back because it just gets so obnoxious.

Our immediate neighbour has strobing lights on her bush all year round and it's quite annoying.

Not a fan of strobing, i don't like when it's added to some films/TV shows either.

People at the end of our road have flashing blue icicle lights and it always looks like an emergency vehicle is approaching. Pain in the arse!
