My little Leroy Jenkins moment from last night.

And they killed us in record time in that game, too. :fp:

I need this playing in the background every time I play this game, because it about sums it up.

Do I enjoy this game or not?

The problem you have is that you've got a mindset of winning = enjoyment.

You need to lose that gooseberry fool and stop rage-quitting ffs.

Yep, as long as we have a decent try I enjoy the game even if we lose.

Nah, The problem with R6 is that if you're losing, most of the time you're sitting there doing nothing, or looking at the cameras for 3+ minutes. That's what I find most frustrating, you can't learn from your mistakes, you die in an unlucky circumstance and that's that.

The meta game is non existent really. I get that the game is trying to be realistic but the low TTK really reduces the depth by a ton. Especially dying from one bullet from any gun to the head. There's no counterplay to that and it turns every gun fight into a quick draw. I mean if there was a way I could improve at the game beyond improving my aim I'd probably enjoy it more.

Losing in Overwatch is a lot less frustrating for a whole bunch of reasons. And I don't usually get annoyed with it. Ask Pete. Even if we lose I really enjoy close matches.

Shame none of you will play it for the one weekend it's free. There's so much more to learn and so much more teamwork and nuance than R6.

I mean I get that you might not want to invest in another multiplayer game because of lack of free time etc, but it wouldn't have hurt to play something different for one weekend.

Fade we had 7 people from here playing last night in private games so if that happens again would you like to join so the teams are balanced?

The bonus is you get to shoot Chalky  .

It's great that we all seem to be fairly evenly matched and we don't have games where one team gets steamrollered.
I think if we can get everyone playing most weekends we can make this game last a fair while.

Not particularly no. Unless you want me throwing C4 at everyone's heads.

Patch notes are out, there's 2 new gadgets, attackers get a claymore and defenders get impact grenade.

I'm sure we'll manage fine.

Patch notes: http://rainbow6.ubi.com/siege/en-GB/updates/skullrain/reinforcements.aspx

Loads of great changes, the nerfing of Blackbeard in particular. Don't mind using Doc as he currently is but he needed a buff and will definitely be using him more now. Claymores will be handy to provide some protection from roamers and Valkyrie losing a camera is a good idea.

Also one for Chalky and Pete to be aware of:

Team Killing

When a player is intentionally team killed, it can be a frustrating experience. The challenge we face is that accidental team kills happen, so finding the balance between intentional team kills and accidental is a delicate adjustment. We will be implementing the following changes to hopefully help with this balance:

We have reduced the limit of team kills allowed in a match before getting auto-kicked from a match.
Killing the Hostage is now considered to be multiple team kills.

We had great games with the 7 of us and I think the private matches have made the game so much better. If anyone else fancies joining us on PS4 late at weekends feel free as it's really rather fun and while competitive is always friendly.

Also what are you on about Stu I never team kill and I'd never dream of hurting a helpless hostage :shifty: .

I love Valkyrie but I think I agree with taking a camera away as 4 was rather a lot. One in the defending room and 2 covering a single entrance should still be hugely useful.

I think it's cool thermite has smoke. He's the only non shield operator that has it. He will be super good for hostage and bomb now.

If we have him and Capitao then we can do an awesome Herbi special.
