We could always give Titanfall 2 ago. There does seem to be a lot of positive feedback for it.

I think we'll still play it it just won't be all the time.
My problem last night was I was using the VR headset and it's not the most helpful method of playing a game like this that needs split second reactions and the natural lack of clarity of the view as the picture is huge also doesn't help so I wasn't my usual Terminatorlike destroyer of dreams I usually am so maybe I was hasty and we'll still carry on.

New patch is out and the new map also. It's...... really strawberry floating cool looking! They've finally released a decent DLC map I think. They've also said they'll be releasing the University map from the single player mission shortly! Without the fog, of course.

!!! CARE

The latest patch update is reported as crashing PS4s and/or wiping PS4 hard drives in some cases.

I don't know if anyone on here ever really played this on PC, but there's a free weekend on just now and me and Kil are buying it and plan to play a fair bit if anyone is interested in playing. It's damn good.

Got it when it came out, but no one followed suit.

Might reinstall it.

It's almost like I kept telling everyone to get it.

Anyway it's too late... won't be back on my PC for about 3 weeks.

I will return for a Christmas special. Just in time for you to have stopped playing

Well I'm on holiday for the next two weeks anyway, in that time Kil has promised to train all of our noob friends who bought the game.

Just want to put it out there again for any PC players that are interested in the game but don't know if they'll have anyone to play with (or anyone who wants to get back into it) that we are playing this almost nightly. Usually 3-5 people each night, but if more people get involved we can make sure we always have a full 5! We have a channel on the GR discord if you want to join in.

Can't believe it took me this long to get into the game. It's fast becoming one of my all time favourite MP games.

This game is fun if you have a good team but it can also be frustrating if you get constantly matched against super try-hard types or people who decide to shoot you even before you have a chance to enter the building.

Patch coming Thursday.

We have increased the resolution to 1728p on the Xbox One X, and 1440p on the PlayStation 4 Pro, while maintaining 50% render scaling (same as before). We are currently working on dynamically increasing the render scaling when performance allows it. This will allow for better render quality in low-complexity scenes, while maintaining 60 fps at all times by adjusting the render scaling dynamically. We do not have an ETA for when this additional dynamic render scaling will be implemented

I really wanted to enjoy this as it's just my type of game but the community is just full of people who seem to do nothing other than play this and as such it's almost impossible to get a game with people who aren't Ninja's and who know every sneaky cheese spot and angle on every map.
It's feels like the equivalent of going to play a 5 a side game of football with the guys on here and being constantly matched against Man City players. Even in casual it's just ultra sweaty all the time.
There just doesn't seem to be room for anyone but the hardest of hardcore.

Well I mean people die in like 3 bullets

It's not exactly the kind of game you could mess about in even if you wanted to. Because messing around usually results in death.

I imagine that's why people come across as try hard.

We got a team of 5 together and dived back in to this last night (prompted by discovering it was on PS Now).

Although it’s hard to put a finger on why, I think most of us agreed that it feels a bit more friendly to play now. In a 5 hour session :dread: we were remarkably successful as well. After 2 years away from the game (more for some of us) we won most of the matches I think keeping losses down to 5 or so games. It’s got a bit confusing with the huge number of Operators and Maps and the whole monetisation of it making some of the flashing lights in the menu a bit perplexing, but it’s fun to play. I imagine we’ll keep playing for a while so if anyone else is interested in joining just shout.
