Although it’s hard to put a finger on why, I think most of us agreed that it feels a bit more friendly to play now. In a 5 hour session :dread: we were remarkably successful as well. After 2 years away from the game (more for some of us) we won most of the matches I think keeping losses down to 5 or so games. It’s got a bit confusing with the huge number of Operators and Maps and the whole monetisation of it making some of the flashing lights in the menu a bit perplexing, but it’s fun to play. I imagine we’ll keep playing for a while so if anyone else is interested in joining just shout.

I'd like the chance to repay Chalky for the unprovoked execution-style murder he decided to dish out in the game where 3 of the opposition quit at the start of the round.

Is this not particularly beginner friendly?

I bought it ages ago for about £12, fiddled about with the CPU mode and then...promptly forgot about it without even trying the multiplayer.

Been trying to persuade some friend to get it, but not sure that will pay off. And also not sure about going in solo with a bunch of randoms.

It depends.
Some of the operators are easier to get to grips with than others but the game modes themselves are simple enough. The maps aren't huge and the casual mode is for people of all skill levels so you should get completely destroyed by the ultra hardcore types who can sometimes prey on the new players in games like this.
We play on PS4 so I have no idea what the community is like on PC but the game has been going for 5 years so I'd imagine it's not terrible and worth a try at least.

So a few of us from the forum play this every Sunday (and sometimes Friday) so I decided I'd start posting a few highlights here.

For some reason Sony blocks URLs in PSN messages if you post too many, even if they're your own clips you just uploaded :simper:

But also I thought it might expose people to the game who might enjoy it.

Unfortunately I forgot to save the clip where I accidentally blew your head off Pete, sorry

That was pretty brutal.

The team we have is quite good. We played maybe 10 games yesterday and lost just 1 but we only play quick play. The team is

Fade, Stu, Chalky, me and sometimes Herbi.
