47 hours in, World Tier 1, Lv. 29 in the Dark Zone and 94% story completion and I still haven't a clue what your talking about. I really should take more care in reading gooseberry fool in game to better understand it :slol:

The armour you wear comes in a number of colours denoting quality.

Grey, Light Green, Blue, Purple and Gold, with Gold being the high quality type, you can mix and match to get a build that suits you and how you play. There is a further tier above those which are Dark Green and are specialist sets, you would use a build of these to get certain bonuses. Massive then released an upgraded version of the gear set called classified, these have even more bonuses if the armour is one type (reclaimer, predator ect).

Exotics are a speciality weapon that give certain bonuses and can tie in to a gear set and make things really interesting. The Pakhan has a skill where each kill you make with it will increase the number of rounds in the weapon after a reload by 20% compared to the base.

I can't remember the name of it but there's one mission I think in a power station where you have square rooms with lots of enemies and bosses in the middle who can hide behind pipes and beams and have people with healing abilities near them.
It's massively more difficult that any of the others and the team I used to play with on here gave up with the game after trying to do it on the hardest setting and failing after 4 hours simply because we couldn't do enough damage to them to kill them and they just healed and blocked our path. Even the trash mobs were a huge struggle and required a huge effort.

Apart from 1 mission very early in the game I've completed all solo so far. Knowing where to toss your turret and healing station helps and when to fall back and pick people off.

I think I have a classified weapon but the DPS is lower than my current weapon so didn't use it. Hell I've probably sold it at a vendor.

Do you come across those in the DZ? I think I came across 3 and got a commendation for killing them and that was solo too. Going to have to check and see if it was.

There are random spawns of 5 in UG, I have been in teams that have wiped out to them but it is rare. I did a challenging 3 phase UG run in a group of randoms and had hunters in each phase. I walked out with some good loot.

Hunters do seem to play like people, they did something really well with the Hunters, they even have a finish move when they take you out.

Yesterday seemed to be day of the Rogues in the DZ, every shitkicker I came across was in a group of Rogues. Raging like hell after all the loot I lost due to being murdered. Really need to get some exotic gear/weapons so going to look into the quickest way to get exotic caches. Also still get destroyed by other players so quick even though my weapons are very high dps etc.

There are bonus drops today when taking out the roaming bosses. I would also recommend underground as I seem to get a classified every couple of challenging run.

If you play survival and get 20k point (it may take 2 or 3 runs) you get a weekly reward of an high level case with a good chance of an exotic.

Have you got any crates with the rewards vendor? I remember getting on from him a few weeks ago as there was a GE event.

I forgot to mention you need to play the game with Neutral Lighting on as it adds a lot of atmosphere.

The Hunters were something of a master stroke for Massive. They made an NPC act a lot like a player so you never really know what to expect.

I do think their 1 hit melee kill is a bit OP though. Did you by chance get all the collectables? Can't find the last 30 cell phone recordings there's nothing at all showing on the map and it's bugging the gooseberry fool out of me as I've collected everything else :x

Have you been to West side piers? There are new ones there. I only found those by accidentally going near one when killing Strings (LZ Boss on the rail line).

Good call, a bunch seem to be hidden in the North and South Piers. Only need 3 more and that's all intel collected, got to get dem commendations :toot:

Also neutral lighting is much nicer and I don't get shitty green artifacting during the night when green 'lights' would flash during the top part of my screen if I went in an area that has a lot of lighting.

Approaching 100 hours now, definitely one of my favourites this gen though my opinion might have differed if I hadn't started the game when it just hit vers. 1.8.

It defiantly had some major issues and there are still things to be fixed but if they released another season pass with new areas and storyline missions I would get it. I have played for 600 hours and I just enjoy the chilled feeling of the game. Wildlands has a similar feel.

Oh, if you haven't been to DZ 10 there might be collectable in the safe house there. I vaguely remember listening to a recording there.

I know you are looking for the hepped up gear. 23rd January there is a GE event which will last for a week. You run missions or other things during the GE even and earn GE coins, spend those points on a case and the case has a good chance at classified gear and exotic guns. It can be a lot of fun.

You know What? Seriously strawberry float this game and strawberry float it dry. I spent a lot of time wandering the DZ for DivTec and caches containing it all the while it's CTD a hell of a lot after Windows updates then after a restart, load up and, exit a DZ safe house and then get gunned down by 2 twatshitcunts rogue players. strawberry floating major toxic game.
