Apparently, this year features no great overhauls or additions :(

A couple of extra bits and bobs, other than that it's left to stagnate.

Oh... that seems a bit odd. I'd have thought Ubi would want to keep players engaged in the first game so that there is a wealth of enthusiasm for a potential sequel. I only ever got to around level 12 but I loved the city environment and the atmosphere.

I wonder if they can finally get the drone from the launch trailer up and running?
I always thought it could be an amazing game mechanic to have a squad of 4 players and I can be the drone buzzing about marking people and maybe deploying the odd turret here and there.

I would buy Division 2 but only if I knew you guys were getting it as for me this is a multiplayer only experience.

Everything in this game outside of the core missions is strawberry floating terrible

Has anyone ever played the surivival DLC? I've been sat here matchmaking for an hour and nothing. I've tried PvE (which shouldn't even need anyone extra to start?!) and PvP

I had the same problem with Underground, matchmaking never worked but at least there were always 4-5 players in the hub. The Survival area is a ghost town

The only matchmaking that's worked for me is the new DLC mode

(This is on Xbox - probably the worst platform to play online games on so I'm not sure why I expected it to work  )

Got given this on pc and I've been told the campaign is worth playing even if you just do it as a single player game.

Yeh that part is enjoyable and you can play a mixture solo/co-op from mission to mission as and when you like. Co-op is probably easier because you can be revived if you go down instead of going back to a checkpoint.

Survival is impossible  it's like DayZ but harder. I managed to play a few times this weekend and I did worse on each attempt. I'm not even playing the PvP version so I have no idea how that one would play out :dread:

The main problem with this game is the difficulty and sheer bullet spongyness (I think they've tried to fix that somewhat) that make even trash mobs a complete pain to take down.
The idea is great but the execution was just terrible and the fact they seemed to only listen to the ultra hardcore crowd who thought having a game 90% of people got crushed by and left was what finally killed it for me.

Loot boxes - or, "encrypted caches" - are being added to the game in an update arriving tomorrow. The update also includes a few other additions... possibly to try and avoid too much light being shed on the loot boxes.

Booted this up last night for a bit, there's TONS of stuff to do and it'll match make you to do well, anything which is nice. A feature that Destiny clearly lacks.

Anyone on Xbox want to attempt Survival sometime?

I got close to beating that mode one time, but got strawberry floated by a piece of scenery/instant kill AI opponents.

It takes about 2 hours to do a round though which is really gooseberry fool.

I can't tonight dude but probably can over the weekend or following week!

Anyone else? Maybe we can make it a weekly thing (pretty much impossible in my experience with Xbox games :slol: )

I'm free Friday or Saturday night. Late ish tho.

The season pass is 50% off right now I believe.

I'm up for playing this.

Got the gold edition but never played it.

Gaming hours are usually Thursday nights (but not tonight - footy) and Sat & Sun afternoons.

Cool, I'll fire you a friend request. I think there's a session meetup tool on Xbox we can use to figure out a time everyone can play
