Depends if you have people to play co-op with I reckon.

You'll love it KJ.

This was my game of 2016 I think.
The setting, the weaponry, the scenery all were amazing. Really sucked me in!

The journey to Level 30 is/was amazing. It's afterwards which sucks. Though it might be fixed now!

Played a bit of it, basically the first mission before the plane explodes and your whisked off in a helicopter and played in co-op which has been spot on. Looks great too and with a few small adjustments from Ultra its 60fps now with no drops so far.

Some of the missions are pants but they can be a good laugh in a group. Just an FYI but the DZ is best in a group however solo it is such a super tense experience and worth a go when you are able (it's locked behind a level requirement).

I think that Survival is open to everyone and is a pretty fun game type once you have the basics.

Does it crash a lot on PC? Just experienced my 2nd CTD in the space of 20-30 minutes.

Oh and won't be a Driver issue as I have performed a clean uninstall/install via DDU earlier today before playing it.

Totally, that experience of superior visuals and 60fps performance is worth the 5 minutes of gameplay before your next crash and it takes longer to start the game than the amount of time you be played before it crashed :slol:

Googling came up with quite a few who have experienced the same crash. Will try turning off DX12 and see if it's that causing the crash.

strawberry float me this game can be difficult solo. Especially the strawberry floating DZ :dread:

Spent a good hour doing a mission because I kept getting swarmed and mullered due to it being in Times Square where switching cover was a pain in the arse. Got to the last 2 over powered/armoured Snipers and the game CTD :|

I played a bit of this and the changes they’ve made are just way too confusing, gonna have to watch videos to know what gear sets and stuff are all over again. Ridiculous.

Addicted to the Dark Zone. Love running around just helping random peeps (and stealing a bit of extraction they call in)

Had a lovely moment waiting for the helicopter to depart with my goods and there was 2 people standing either side of me waiting too who decided to go rogue and have a pop at me. Gunned the strawberry floaters down and stood saluting them as they bled out :datass: now a level 22 in DZ

Hit level 30 and was instantly hit with a cargo drop that had a big bunch of yellow bar dudes who took every damn bullet I had to kill so I could get the drop box. Thankfully I'm only world tier 1, better hunt out some big guns yo.

That drop comes every 2 weeks however it disappears when the next one comes in.

Underground is not bad to help level up gear but there are a bunch of "bosses" roaming around the light zone (non DZ area) that are a good way to get that lovely gold gear, they sometimes drop green gear sets and exotic weapons and gear as well. After you kill them they respwan 4 hours later.

Have they re-balanced the sets yet?
When I play there was one massively overpowered set and all the rest were seen as pretty much pointless.
I liked the idea of the Firecrest set as my preferred loadout is turret and a throwable medical bag but the bonuses to fire damage just never made it worth the bother to grind for the items. Are the modifiers between a good item and a trash item also lowered as that was a huge issue as well.

Just reinstalled this on PS4, looks damn good, loaded up an old save but I haven't got a clue what is going on so wiped the old save off. Think I might try and give the single player another go

1.8 if far more balanced. There are some gooseberry fool gear sets but there are a good 6 or 7 good sets that you can use for different things, on top of that are the classified gear sets which are upgrades to the standard sets. Classifieds have better bonuses as well as 5 and 6 gear set bonuses. Classifieds and exotics do drop in the wild but are rare.

47 hours in, World Tier 1, Lv. 29 in the Dark Zone and 94% story completion and I still haven't a clue what your talking about. I really should take more care in reading gooseberry fool in game to better understand it :slol:

Hey KJ, how have you found the story stuff all in all? I remember hitting a really frustrating mission when I played when it released and that’s where I fell off the game

I can't remember the name of it but there's one mission I think in a power station where you have square rooms with lots of enemies and bosses in the middle who can hide behind pipes and beams and have people with healing abilities near them.
It's massively more difficult that any of the others and the team I used to play with on here gave up with the game after trying to do it on the hardest setting and failing after 4 hours simply because we couldn't do enough damage to them to kill them and they just healed and blocked our path. Even the trash mobs were a huge struggle and required a huge effort.
